A Tale of Contrasting Spaces: Refreshed Lobby, Dated Rooms

During my recent stay at this hotel that purported to offer luxury accommodations, I discovered a stark contrast between the newly updated lobby and the outdated rooms in which I was housed.

Upon entering the hotel, I was immediately struck by the lobby's fresh and modern appearance. The recent renovations were evident, with sleek furnishings, contemporary decor, and a welcoming ambiance. It was a pleasant surprise and created a sense of anticipation for the rest of the hotel.

However, as I made my way to the assigned rooms, it became apparent that the same level of renovation had not extended to this area. The stark contrast between the newly updated lobby and the dated rooms was undeniable. The furnishings and decor felt tired and worn, with a distinct lack of the luxury that was promised on the hotel's website.

Although disappointed by the stark difference between the lobby and the rooms, I must commend the staff for their exceptional service and willingness to accommodate any requests. They were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay despite the less-than-ideal room conditions.

Additionally, it is worth noting that if you are anticipating enjoying a drink or relaxing in a nice lounge at the hotel, it will not be possible as the establishment is dry. This policy may be a drawback for those seeking a more social or leisurely experience during their stay.

In conclusion, while the newly updated and fresh lobby created a positive first impression, the stark contrast with the outdated rooms was undeniable. The discrepancy between the two spaces was disappointing, but the exceptional service provided by the staff partially made up for the lackluster accommodations. If you can overlook the room's dated appearance, the attentive staff may help alleviate some of the disappointment during your stay.

We initially found the rooms at the hotel to be very dated, which was a bit disappointing. However, I must commend Hanin for her exceptional dedication and outstanding customer service. When we expressed concerns, she went above and beyond to ensure satisfaction. The next night, she managed to get us a new room in their fully renovated suite. This upgrade completely transformed our stay and made it much better.

Hanin's dedication and commitment to providing excellent customer service deserves praise. We truly appreciate her efforts in making our experience more enjoyable. Thank you, Hanin!"

Pompous hotel. The rooms are too fancy (I don’t understand why there are 3 baths, 2 showers, 5 toilets in one room). Relatively clean: bed linen and towels were changed every day, but no one wiped off the dust. Too many unnecessary rooms and corners. Plus - the kitchen is fully stocked, you can buy groceries and cook yourself. There is also a washing machine. Air conditioning in all rooms, working perfectly! Shampoos with conditioner, shower gel, body lotion - everything is of excellent quality. The towels are snow-white. The bed linen is very pleasant to the body. The mattresses are comfortable. There are 2 pillows for each person, also very comfortable. For those who pray there is a jaynamaz, the Qibla indicator. 4 elevators, all working quickly and silently. The staff is courteous and ready to help. A girl from Kazakhstan works in the back office, a girl from Kyrgyzstan works in the restaurant, and a man from Uzbekistan works in the security service. Therefore, there are almost no problems with the Russian language. Minus - there is no food during the day or evening, only from the menu. Therefore, you can go to Carrefour (nearby) and cook your own food. JBR is nearby, 10 minutes by car. By the way, Yandex taxi operates in Dubai. We traveled in business class for 29 dirhams. By the way, the metro line is right in front of the hotel, the stop is nearby. On Friday there was a disco nearby, we saw it from the balcony.
By the way, the balconies are locked in case you have children.
The water park is also nearby. It's a pity that there is no beach. We didn't ask for a shuttle to the beach. Perhaps there is. But we took a taxi.
The pool is not very big, but it is heated.
Overall, the impressions are very good. I recommend making a reservation.

I would like to add my review. While staying at this hotel, we went to the Dubai outlet mall and my son left his phone in the taxi. The hotel employees helped us find a taxi number, make a request in the application, and our phone number was found 3 days after our departure. The girl Zhadyra paid the taxi driver for delivery and gave the phone to my friends. A week later we safely received it at home in Astana. I thank all the hotel staff for their concern and understanding! I wish you success and prosperity!

The Skylight Venue is a charming hall for all occasions, the fashion shows look stunning in such a venue, the lighting, decor and atmosphere are amazing. It is a great place for creating beautiful memories

Really had best experience here! The rooms are beautiful and well organised with nice bathrooms. Staffs really provided all we needed and were very attentive and supportive. Would definitely come again.

What stumped me most about this otherwise pretty hotel was how they could serve a buffet that was 99.9% the same on two consecutive days for lunch.

I was also very disappointed with the variety available.

The staff at our conference hall, though, was very attentive, friendly and efficient.

Great Hotel and location. Some of the rooms need an upgrade, however I moved to an apartment studio which is stunning, clean and has everything I needed for a long stay. Staff are friendly and very helpful. The breakfast staff are the best together with room service. The laundry is really expensive, so I opted to sent my laundry in at a local place through an app, ordering food from outdoors trough Careem is preferred however be prepared to walk down to reception to fetch it, as they not allowed to deliver to your room or get a staff member to come up, which I completely understand. Overall Great hotel. It was my home for the month, comfortable and enjoyable.

Rooms give feeling that it's old, the team who responsible on rooms cleaning need to use perfume or something to prevent bad smale, sorry for that but honestly, many times the bad smale still in room

There are cats walking in front of the hotel. For people who are not accustomed to the Arabic love for cats, it is unacceptable. Fortunately the doormen did everything to keep them away during our stay

Arjaan Rotana hotel is certainly located in the heart of New Dubai. Your typical 4 star hotel.

The hotel is very well situated & totally value for money. The apartments are roomy & very well maintained.

Strange place.a lot of unused spaces.a bit confused identity moderns or Arabian, service is good, food buffet was ok, seems not fair to give it three stars but 4 is too much for it they have a very nice coffee shop good for media city meeting. We used it for offsite workshop I would use it again but weird place still

The hotel is great and staff was friendly… just one things I have notice the water heater Only one person can take the bath … the other need to wait till the water get heat again… I do recommend for family it is quite.

Der Checkin war etwas holprig, wir hatten extra gegen Gebühr einen früheren Checkin gewählt der nicht eingehalten wurde.
Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit wir haben dann ein Übergangszimmer bekommen. Die Zimmer etwas älter aber sauber, hellhörig was im Gang passiert hört man.

Uns stört es nicht Preis Leistung ok, Lage in der Media City etwas fernab war aber vor der Buchung bekannt, je nachdem was man machen möchte längere Transferzeiten, kein Strandhotel.

Weiterempfehlen? Ja.

Very welcoming and courteous staff, always willing to help. Very good facilities, spacious rooms. The Arabesque architecture adds authenticity and character to the hotel. Excellent place for long stays.

Very beautiful hotel located in a very Ideal location. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff are great. I will definitely pick this hotel again when I come back next time.
