PROJECT UNFINISHED AND CT RAN AWAY!
Circus theory is nothing but mental and emotional HARASSMENT. They took an extensive project with tight deadlines and promised to deliver in 6 weeks as per contract provided by them. They had to deliver on 15th October 2023. Today 29th November 2023 the project is 7 weeks OVERDUE and they just left and refuse to finish the project.
I have honestly never come across such UNPROFESSIONAL people in my whole life. They just lied and cheated us this whole time. Once they got the project and got the payment they kept ignoring calls, messages and were extremely UNRESPONSIVE. They kept changing delivery dates but never even completely delivered a single room on time.
With a family of 2 small children I don’t have a place to live in a few days time as the current house needs to be vacated and the house promised to me by CT never got finished.
Also whatever joinery works they did were done wrong and had to be redone again adding to the timelines. They hired unskilled labour who had no clue what had to be done. The finishes of the most of the work were so substandard. And all their contract labor complained to us that CT refused to pay their salaries/dues even after taking 90% payment from us. This how low they can stoop.
As per the BOQ they were suppose to provide us custom furniture which they refuse to provide. To top it all they took my personal furniture for refurbishment and refuse to return it now… pure THEFT in my eyes. What they are doing is ILLEGAL. This is after I have already paid 90% of the payment.
Spare yourself and don’t even consider them for a tiniest of the work. They are incapable and don’t deserve to get any more clients.
Below is the picture of my apartment today which they refuse to finish and is 7 weeks overdue (13 weeks total since start and this is how the site looks)
@priyank - this is how the site looks now, you would know if you visited it in the last few days. Also yes all these boxes are my personal stuff that thanks to you had to be moved here because we didn’t have a house to move in on the promised date and are living in a temporary accommodation.
2. I have made 90% payment as per the BOQ and I have proof. The 10% was due on delivery. Well if this is how CT delivers god bless the clients. This a warning for them.
3. You decided to leave the work and also refused to give my personal furniture back, which is ILLEGAL AND UNETHICAL. All the staff were allowed to leave respectfully.
4. If you thought my dream project was undeliverable in the time and budget WHY did you sign up for it? Both the timelines and budget were made very clear from day 1 in writing. Why did you agree to these? Just answer this simple question? NEITHER ME OR MY HUSBAND FORCED YOU TO DO IT. You and your partner who has zero care or concern are INCAPABLE of delivering and are blaming us.
5. Again you AGREED in writing to the timelines at the beginning and the project kept getting delayed. You kept promising new dates which not once you met and you expected us to be ok with it … WOW. That’s a bit rich.
6. Also you can keep lying to yourself and the world. I would like to see one message when I abused you or used bad language. I have the whole chat exported and saved. Not once I was unprofessional in the whole 4 months. I would love to see what you have.
7. If you would have used even 10% of your effort that you are putting in all these lies and excuses the work would be done.

Save yourself the hassle and look elsewhere. These guys will sell you the dream in their semi-decent office and then fail miserably to deliver it. They have run away from an unfinished project after sweet talking us into paying them in almost full. Look at the other reviews that have had the same fate as us - inordinate delays, shoddy work and zero care from either of the duo. And the duo themselves giving them a 5 star review on google begs belief!
They can only and only do design, and don’t know the E of execution. There are so many issues it’s hard to decide where to begin but I’ll explain the major issues:
Planning - they don’t plan anything. They promised to finish the project in 6 weeks and didn’t start building the most basic joinery until week 7! Each time there would be a new promised date, and they would miss with zero care in the world. We’re now 7 weeks overdue vs the promised date and today they said they won’t work on the project any longer (latest handover promised was 2 days ago)!
Labor - each couple of days they will bring someone new to the site (besides 2 unskilled guys who stay at the so called ‘factory’, all of the labor at our project site was daily contract labor hired ad-hoc literally picked up from the street). From a works standpoint, this means there is no continuity or consistency in the works - each day the new guy takes half a day to understand what’s being attempted and productivity is super low. And every single one of them complained about not having the required materials to do the work!
Rework - there’s no checking of the measurements against design, and almost all of the joinery - and it is a lot on our project for a 4 bedroom! - had to be redone at site. This created even more frustration with the workers, and something that should’ve taken 3 days took 8-10 days to finish!
Quality - not having consistent, skilled staff means what you get is shoddy to the say the least. You would get better quality at a furniture shop! They kept saying we’ll fix it in snagging but that never came. Ultimately, they just run away without finishing the work, or even giving us the furniture they’re supposed to deliver (including our personal items which they took for refurbishment)
To have to go through this when they very well know we have 2 small kids, is just disbelieving. Don’t waste your time or money, avoid all the stress and go with someone who at least knows the basics of how to execute the work! They deserve a lot less than even the 1 star google forces to give them - just look the state in which they’ve abandoned the project after 13 weeks
Edit to business’ response - it takes you 5 weeks of design and 14 weeks of execution to suddenly realise you can’t deliver it in the budget and BOQ YOU have provided. Stop lying about scope changes, because you are the one changing specifications during the execution (not installing fluted glass, anti fog mirrors, ceiling profiles etc that were all part of scope because suddenly you realise they’re too expensive) and disrespecting the detailed investment of our time and money in fixing the 1 million errors with your drawings. You don’t even have 1 consistent person from start to finish - neither on design nor in execution. The site manager arrived 18 days ago and if you’re so confident about who was on site you will surely be able to produce the labor contracts in your company name

They delayed our unit scheduled completion by more than a month. Highly unprofessional duo. These guys over promise in the beginning and deliver substandard stuff. We were overcharged for the substandard work that was done. They showed us something rosy in the rendered images and delivered something else. All electrical fitouts were so childish, probably I would have done a better job at it myself. They hire cheap and unskilled workforce, so stay away. It was really a nightmare settling the accounts with them (they really threatened us verbally, so unprofessional when we had not even said we wont pay or had delayed their payments). Had so many disputes with the circus duo that in the end it felt more of a mental trauma than any pleasure of getting our unit done from them. Frankly speaking, do not waste your time and mental health with these guys. I would I could rate them minus infinity stars. Cheers.

1. A month’s assignment took them over three months and still the finishing is pending.
2. Extremely unhappy with the response time as well. They come onsite once a week or once in two weeks to do bits of work for a few hours.
3. A lot of negligence on the detailing, as creative professionals least expected such compromised work. Who puts battery operated led lights for a home furniture? I was shocked when they intended to do that to my shoe cabinet. So many patch work on my tv wall panel, too many air bubbles and shabby finishes for the furniture wrap. The dresser mirror and table was a total disaster. My bed frame looks like an ordinary one, I would have got a much better one for less in a showroom.
4. We hire designers to get perfection and uniqueness. I would have got better results from a carpenter or simply picked up from a retail store. It was such a painful experience, so much money burnt down plus such a long wait time. I have to re-do most of it! I was only patient because the company owners pretended to be nice people but the truth is end result is all that matters.
