مطعم ومقهى الفنر Al Fanar Restaurant & Cafe

As a tourist this was a great spot to try some local dishes. The food was fantastic - I would recommend the trays to share with 2+ people because they have a mix of foods. The service was very good and all employees were very kind. Our server Aditya was great! Great place to go after Ferrari world or shopping at the mall!

Delicious options. We tried “date cake” and “ferni” along with “karak tea “ and Arabic cofffee pot. All very good. Fatteh (boiled chick pea soup) and dates came as compliment.

My first time trying the Emirati cuisine. It was better than my expectations. Food portion is quite huge.

It was a great experience and I was really happy to be in this nice Resturant.
We’ve been served by a very polite and cooperative gentleman Mr. TYPHEN who I was happy with his service.
We will come back of course soon and will recommend this nice Resturant for our friend.

I had a great experience. The most likeable thing about the place is food and service. I am impressed with their hospitality. David is very kind, helpful and the most important honest. Seems like they truly belive in hospitality. I must recommend this place.

Great service from David, I’m dining alone and wanted to try something traditional. I told him to surprise me with a dish and something that wasn’t going to be wasted and of a portion size for one and he delivered!

We visited the restaurant for our first time, and we enjoyed the tea here and we want to thank Mr. Ahmed Fathy so much for his good service and he was so friendly and for sure we will come back because of him

Faisal is a nice lad, fluent communication and down for the details.

Food is good. The lamb/mutton in particular is decent. Chicken is dry. Prawns are nice.

It was a great experience. Food was awesome. And the server, Mr David, entertained us very well.

Unforgettable experience! Lamb kaabab was fresh and delicious! Arabic coffee with cardamom, very different but goes perfect with custard desert! Local food, taste of UAE, worth to try and amazing service by Faisal.

Mohammed is very respectful and friendly.the food is highly recommended specially if you like the local cuisine.

Superb food. Had something similar to Indian food right after you come out of Ferrari World. The service and hospitality were exceptional good hygiene and from service by Mr David. Highly recommend for a good lunch place

Good food, good service! This is the restaurant server Arab food the best that i have known. Cozy restaurant. I make sure i will be back to enjoy one more time in the future.

No one assists us with table, we had to wait for long to someone take our order even if was only three tables. Seafood soup came with couple of slices calamari and you can't drink it at all, all four main courses came could, extra charge for less than 30ml of oil.even is the wipes we had to ask.kids were not at all happy as well with quality of food.

Ammmazing food you might similar names of dishes from other countries but taste is different and outclass.
Thier Machboos Laham best in rice dishes for me.
Tekat Devay Emirati is very simple tender and tasty.

I like it it's a good restaurant with delicious food and they takebgood care of staff and guest and I'm currently working there

The feeling like you're in traditional desert Emirati home. Good food but due to iftar time it was quite busy. Iftar menu has quite choices. Oh their pistachio cheesecake is a must try! It's not too cheesy and light. I personally thinks its best cheesecake.

It’s unfortunate that the Ritz Carlton location is permanently closed. But the old rustic Emirati feel created a great ambiance and foodie experience.

Any fish selection here is gonna be a winner. Please try any of the desserts and the coffee.

Al Fanar is a beautiful restaurant serving delicious Emarati Food and is located right next to the ferrari world in Yas Mall.

I tried Emarati food in a typical emarati designed restaurant with the staff in their traditional attire

the thing which attracted me most to the Al Fanar Restarant is the historical vibe of this place and its purely astonishing

I ordered for Shrimp Biryani with the price of 69 Aed and I must say i loved the service and the quantity of food served
They have a tradition of serving peas in a bowl to every customer which i witnessed for the first time

The food is great, the vibe is amazing and staff is friendly

One of the first, and better, Emirati restaurants in Abu Dhabi. Emirati food is not Lebanese, tasty, and hard to found outside the Gulf region. This restaurant has a long menu, all tasty, and great and friendly (though a bit slow at times) decor. Not vegan friendky, with some but not a large number of vegetarian options.

This place was good came here with our tour guide. They made a special curry with vegetables and bread as I don't eat meat. Their salads were nice and the rice was good.

Good food, nice ambient, had the feeling the desert choice was not at the same lever as the local.

I love that it's authentic Emirate food. The food is great, as are the servers. The portion sizes are plentiful.

Amazing taste. Chicken Mandi dish is very tasty and chicken gravy also good. They serve very fast and politly. Two persons can eat One Chicken Mandi. Bread also very good.
They provide complimentary Chana in starting.

I love the dining interior, it is very similar to the 1960’s

Authentic and delicious Emarati food, best restaurant in my opinion to enjoy Emarati cuisine. The decorations in the restaurant represent the UAE and it's history and even the menu shows the Emarati names for the food.
