Al Fanar is always a great place to dine whether it be in Al Ain or dubai. We headed there super hungry after a long day of sight seeing in Al Ain and they never let us down. Food was amazing, ambience in Al Ain was so peaceful and Ehab working there was courteous in helping us with some good food suggestions and wonderful services

Food was amazing! For 5 adults and a toddler, we had 2 salads, a meat platter with fresh bread, a fish biryani, a mutton curry, 2 desserts (dates crumble and donuts) and 5 fresh juices. We polished everything! Couldn’t decide which dish was the best- they were all too good. Mostafa was great with his service. Place was very comfortable and clean. We enjoyed ourselves very much, and will definitely come back!

Best restaurant of our abu dhabi trip!
The food was standing, best grilled praws i ever had. We were offered a free drink for a review so very considerate of touristes.
The restaurant room is mind blowing with a tree in the middle!

Great restaurant for Emirati authentic food. We ordered prawn magboos, mahala, small appetizer and fresh pomegranate juice. They also sell bokoor and old days snacks (chips and chocolate)
Beautiful place, clean and cozy and great for family and friends gathering.

فرع دبي أفضل من فرع العين من حيث الأسعار على سبيل المثال دلة القهوه مع الريوق العادي صينية ايام الطيبين تكون فري مع الوجبه وكذالك تقدر تغير الجبن وتحط مكانه قشطة وتعاملهم اسهل ونفس سعر صينية ايام الطيبين

مطعم تراثي جميل وجلسات رائعه ، مستوى الاكل جيد الى حد ما، كنت اتأمل الافضل وخاصه البرياني والمجبوس ، الحين توجد جلسات خارجيه للشيشه ك فكره اراها جميله لو تم وضع شاشة تلفزيون ونقل للمباريات وعمل اللقيمات والرقاق في الاجواء الخارجية سيكون افضل وسيعطي جو تراثي احلى

المطعم بصراحه ماعليه كلام والاكل بعد وايد لذيذ بس عندي ملاحظة صغيره ع شي قبل اسبوعين صارلنا انا وربيعاتي يينا وطلبنا نقعد في الغرفه لي فوق نفس قبل بس اول مادخلت المطعم قالي واحد هندي لابس كندوره بيضا ان الغرفه ب ١٥٠ درهم جارج اقول قبل ب١٠٠ درهم يقول النظام اليديد (حرام ما يصير) ماعرف ليش و وين المصداقيه حنا راح نجلس في فندق مو معقول؟

One of the best traditional Emirati food, they have branches in many Emirates. Almost similar decoration with statues of old life & old vehicles

Nice ambience and delicious foods. Very accommodating friendly staff. Also they offer shisha good for bonding with family or friends.

This was my first time in my few months of living here that I have truly tried Emirati food. It did not disappoint! The food was delicious, the service was great, the restaurant is very nice! I will be returning!

اطلبت من طلبات (هريس لحم). الاكل وصل سريع جدا وساخن ومغلف بطريقة ممتازة.

لكن للاسف الطعم سيء جدا ولا ينتمي للهريس بصله.
والحجم للاعلاقة له بالحجم الكبير. الصحن صغير يكفي شخصين ومكتوب في الطلب (حجم كبير) ب 61 درهم غير التوصيل.

تجربة سيئة لن اقوم بتكرارها!

I have been to this restaurant many times in both Al ain and abudhabi, this is the worst time ever. People here are very rude, they usually serve an appetiser of beans, they didn't and when I asked why they said its finished! We are now sitting in the restaurant and cannot wait to get done and leave. They are very loud in the kitchen shouting and talking very loud as of they were in the street, I believe that this is the last time that I visit here. An update: my son developed gastroenteritis 12hours after we ate at your restaurant and until now he is being treated for food poisoning, he missed 2school days already, I am not sure what is wrong with this restaurant but a close health check up should be implemented.

Reflect past and present, realy very nice and quiet. Food and tea delicious and cheap. Located at very nice and very beautiful views, also has big parking.

The interior and ambience is so beautiful. Unfortunately food was very disappointing.
Haris was full of bones and cartilage pieces. Fish was fresh but overcooked and dried. Chicken was dry to. Overal unpleasant food.
Lugemat were lovely.

Recommend to visit, tanoor seabass is great. The location is nice too, with the river at the side. Definitely worth a visit. The food is quite tasty. We tried Fish Muchboos, Fish Seabrime, and Chicken gravy were delicious to say the least. It is not chicke by international standards but a local cuisine which still gives it a nostalgia of the bygone days.

من المطاعم الرائدة في تقديم الاطعمة المحلية بأسلوب تقليدي وأجواء تراثية. السائح او حتى المقيم يمكنهم ان يعيشوا الأجواء الإماراتية التقليدية مع تذوق الطعام والأطباء المحلية المعروفة والشبه بأكل البيوت الإماراتية بدرجة كبيرة. هذا المطعم يقدم لك الأجواء الإماراتية الحقيقية.

يذكرني بايام زمان والاكل الشعبي ما عليه كلام ونظافة المكان اهم شيء وينكم ياللي يحبون التصوير تعالوا.

Great food and ambience. Went for breakfast, although limited menu, the food was delicious and not too pricey.

The place is nice but they need to work on the food. I didn't like the food. At first I though being a non local it might be due to regional differences in taste perception. But I had a local guy with me and he literally apologised for bringing me to this place.

Amazing traditional decorations, nice ambiance, very clean, friendly service, there was nothing special about the food taste.

In Alfanar restaurant you can eat traditional food with almost a house made food, also the vibes and decorations are also traditional. Moreover, they are offering extra stuff like lollipops and some old chocolates that was popular 20 years ago. The staff are really nice and kind Very pleasant place and excellent food with very welcoming staff. We enjoyed the traditional food. We have a pleasure being there

الاسبريسسو حامضه! توزيع المقاعد غير عملي، تجد بعض الصعوبة في المرور بينها وخصوصا اذا كانت مشغوله. بعض المقاعد بدون مساند لليد. الاسعار مرتفعه جدا على بعض الاطباق البسيطه. خبز رقاق مع جبن ب30 درهم! أعتقد سعر مبالغ به. التصميم العام غير مختلف عن الفنر، ولكنه مستوحى من البيوت القديمه وهذا امر جميل، الى حد ما. يستحق التجربة بشكل عام.

Very good service and family friendly environment. Unfortunately, food is the focal point of any restaurant. Whereas, any meal found here, will taste better almost anywhere else. What's worse is that it is overpriced.

Beautiful restaurant, local style, food is very different than any places, very traditional. Price is little higher but for the place worth it

I was looking for local food when i visited the beautiful city of al Ain, and a friend suggested the place.since the weather is good we opted for their outdoor seating area where they have normal tables and some tables where you sit on the floor which was very nice and comfortable.we were a group of six people so we ordered different dishes as we wanted to try different meals and all of the dished were really really good.to go in details with the food, the laham biryani was top quality the meat is so tender and full of flavor and the rice was so flavorful.we also had Machbos deyay and I really liked the way the cooked the chicken as it was very juicy and they used a different type of rice here; which was amazing too.lastly, we have one grilled sea bass and it tasted good and fresh as they promised us.then they treated us with the famous Emirati sweet loqaimat and it was amazing warm full of dates syrub.overall, it was a very nice choice and I would highly recommend it to anyone going to Al Ain and interested in Emirati Cuisine. Also, i believe they serve Shisha outdoors but we have not tried it.
