One of the best manakish I've ever had. I tried 5 varieties: Zaatar and Olives, Egg and Cheese, Meat and Cheese, Chicken and Cheese and Sausage and Cheese.yeah that's a lot of cheese. All of them were to the T. We had a sample of their Arabic sweets called 'Burma' pronounced as Borma.it was very tasty. Manakish lovers should definitely check out this place. Note that there is no dine-in facility.
Sultan backery is a great sultan in backeries. Arabic foods and sweets, breads, bunes, confectioneries, cakes and backalawas are making remarkable tastes in your mouth. My favourite destinations to add laham, cheese, labana into my breakfast baskets.
If you want crispy Mankousha and Moroccan sweets then this is the place. Bread of all types are available particularly brown bread with less calories. Parking space sometimes is a problem so you will need to find parking space prior to shipping. Service on the average is and the prices are competitive.
See my other review for Sultan Bakery branch in Al Aman if you want my overall opinion on food quality and price. This review is specific to customer service at this particular branch. And overall it’s atrocious. The person who handles the orders over the phone (Shihab) DOES NOT CARE if he loses big order sales over the phone. After difficulty trying to get Shihab to get my order down (he wasn’t paying attention) I told him point blank I have a big order so please focus or at least give the phone to another employee. And he said “have a nice day”. Does that sound like an employee who cares about a business? I eventually made an order of a 120 fatayar. 90 were priced at 2 dirham a piece, and 30 were priced at 2.5 dirham a piece. If you do the math, the total is 255 AED. Mohamed, the person who cashed me out charged me 330 AED. I spent the next thirty minutes explaining to him how he overcharged me by 75 dirham. I don’t think he actively tried to cheat me, I believe he was just really.really bad at math. I eventually had to count each piece of fateera by hand to get my 75 dirham back. This branch needs more caring employees. They will begin to ruin this location’s reputation.
One of the best bakeries in my opinion 1. Fare prices but i dont like when they take vat on normal bread or samoon, other bakeries dont take the vat on that. 2. Variety of manakesh and tasty
