Very good experience for many years with AXA and now GIG. Very good team in the Abu Dhabi offices and in particular Mr Jan Sicat who always responds quickly and with quality.

If you are an employer (especially big employer in the industry) avoid this medical insurance for your staff at all costs. All my colleagues and employees complain of very long times to get approvals or basic approvals for disbursement of medicines. Waiting times can be 3+ hrs or even more. Seems like a ploy by this company to get people to pay for their medicine directly to avoid wasting time. Again avoid at all costs. Many companies exist that are far superior and offer better benefits at better rates.

لا انصح احد ابداً التعامل معهم ، شركة جداً سيئه و غير منظمين و اهم شي عندهم تدفع الفلوس قبل المعامله و معاملتك عاد نساها متى تخلص ، و لو شي اقل من نجمه كان عطيتهم بعد.

Worst health insurance.when am going to hospital as emergency this axa insurance need approval.i suffer pain.without approval no test allowed.delay for approval.still waiting for approval.very bad experience

Long time for medical approval in the hospital and most probably always declining the request. If you are looking for an excellent medical insurance for your employees, I don’t recommend AXA. Waste of money, time and efforts

One of the best insurances companies in UAE, I really respect how promptly they take actions when needed.
Their insurance quality is very nice.
With the support of Mukhtar, Reham and jan its always easy to communicate and get the best prices.

I'm writing to thank Amr Samir for the superb service I experienced when I renewed the insurance on my car. Throughout the procedure, he was very professional, kind, and knowledgeable. He interviewed me appropriately, thoroughly described the benefits of the proposed policy, gave me a speedy quote, and assisted me until the policy was issued and was renewed on the RTA portal.

I WAS RASH IN HOSPITAL AND I NEED TO BE ADMITTED TO FIND THE PROBLEM AND THIS INSURANCE SAYING ITS PRE EXISTING CONDITION

TAKE NOTE THEY MENTION THAT THE REJECTION IS BECAUSE ITS PRE EXISTING CONDITION WITHOUT DOCTOR DIAGNOSIS. WE ASK THE CLAIMS WHICH PRE EXISTING YOU WILL DIAGNOSE IF THERES NO DIAGNOSIS YET FROM
THE HOSPITAL AND I WAS HEALTHY. EVEN YOU GO THROUGH EMERGENCY THEY DONT COVER YOU. IT HAPPENED WITH ME AND CO WORKERS

HARAM, we even have the golden coverage with them second to the first premium. Which we pay lot for nothing.my situation get worst so agressively because im not getting a
A proper medication due to insurance- rejection even in vitamins and rejection in normal labs and now im on dialysis they dont cover any medicaton at all.
Literally like no insurance!

Because of their wrong and miscalculation even i was life saving patient they denied and rejected it from emergency

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. EVEN YOU ESCALATE IT WITH THE MANAGEMENT IT WILL BECOME MORE WORST. Misleads information in the health insurance. There’s no point arguing or stating your side with them, they will not even try to understand and will just blabber whatever they wanted to. In short, it’s a waste of time. As soon as they get the money, when it comes to getting your claim they will just run you in circles with no clear solution or else they will just find ways to get more money from you.

I have canceled my insurance for 3 vehicles I sold and have been waiting for GIG to issue a refund on the balance of the insurance for close to 2 month. The amount that should be refunded once an insurance is canceled is effectively stolen from the customer. I will update this feedback as the situation unfolds but would warn other customers what seems to be a scam run by GIG.

I had an issue during 3 weeks with the Internet-based requests processing team, and when I came to the Abu Dhabi branch, it was solved in 2 days, with courtesy and professionalism. Big thanks to Jan, Mookhtar and Reham for their hospitality and efficiency in finding and implementing a rapid resolution.

Enrolled for GIG (AXA) Health Insurance for my parent. Outstanding Customer Service provided by Mr. Jan Wilfred SICAT from Abu Dhabi GIG (AXA) Team. Starting Right from explaining minor details on quotations and than patiently listening & answering to all my queries, and prompt response shown to call back to customer if requested. Thankyou for providing high quality customer service which is really missing nowadays with other companies. Expecting same quality in handling insurance claims and approvals from GIG (AXA).

I was collecting quotes for my car insrance so inquired online and was promptly assisted by Nilofar. She was very accommodating of my queries. Out of the options I received, the coverage and cost offered by GIG was the best. I went ahead with their proposal and the transaction was quick and easy.

One of the worst insurance company i have ever seen.i wish i could rate it minus (-) even 1 star is too much for them.i called for road assistance and even after 3 hrs they were not able to send recovery team.i made multiple calls to them but they are deaf.do not ever try them they are much worst than you can think of

Not only did my premiums double for myself and family members this year, but first time we need an approval for chest pains for a simple electrocardiogram and treadmill stress test we wait 3 days and hear nothing. A six year customer and service continues to get more expensive and getting approval for anything difficult.

My uncle had this insurance for long 6 years, when needed it was very difficult to get approval for the claims. For the first time its applied, Alas its Rejected. Other companies may have some more easy and flexible customer care.
This is pathetic.

1- If simple consultation with no lab requests, it is ok.
2- The network: only 2 reliable hospitals
3- If lab works are required they kept me going to the hospital for long months and get pricked six times to get the results as they do it step by step. I had to pay my lab tests to avoid facing the situation for really basic lab tests (no matter how high the premium)
4- The renewal premium is 2.5 times more for 10 times less coverage the second year

Done a big mistake by changing our company insurance to Axa. They have few cheap plans that saved few bucks. But later on we realised that its useless.

I don't know what to say! Today I received my health insurance card from Axa gulf. They have a great offer for individuals, I'm really happy with that. Also they was very respectful specially Mr. Jan, He know I'll come by taxi. He waiting me outside the building to give me my card without asking him. Great experience and respected people.

Disappointed with their service! Beside the high car insurance premium compared to others in the market, they don't really keep the customer as the prime element of their Business model.

I recently cancelled my insurance after the sale of my vehicle and a refund of what left of the premium paid was due. AXA will only refund via cheque and I will need to pick it up either from Abu Dhabi or Dubai offices. I live in Al Ain and I don't usually come to Abu Dhabi or Dubai except on weekends and for leisure.

I have asked for a Courier service which AXA declined as this is not in their policy. They offered to hand over the cheque to a nominated friend or family with a letter of authorisation from me. I don't have a friend or family who I can ask to do this for me.

If the Banks are currently use Courier services to deliver Credit/Debit card why can't AXA? Very Disappointed!
