Very relaxing ambience with great music, the steak was really good.over all experience was amazing, its worth trying the drinks and dessert.

Been going to Blue Grill since they first opened, last Friday I booked to have dinner with some close friends and family. I was surprised that the food has lost its quality, lamb chops didn’t taste great and the steak was really rubbery. It is very sad that I will not be able to visit this once upon a time great place. Please bring back greatness.

Anything we ate tasted like almost nothing

Wagyu burger was just a normal expensive burger
Brisket and ribeye just had plain taste, and they just tasted identical
Bread was tasteless
Cheesecake was tasteless
Fake truffle everywhere
You order beer, they will take it from the place next to the restaurant

Overall not bad tasting, it is just a restaurant with no point, no taste, just appearance, and super expensive

The best food I ate in long time, latino-American set-menu, the dishes are perfect size not too small not too big, great Cocktails and desserts and the staff is very kind and cool! I will go back for sure, recommend!

The food is amazing especially the new flavors from chef Andres! You have to try! Pulpo and steak is just a beginning. You need to go for the leg of lamb! Absolutely amazing!

My wife, daughter and i went for the surf-and-turf brunch on Friday night. The seafood and steaks are ordered from and served at the table. I must say that my expectations for the steak were not the highest especially since they were ordered medium-rare.
These steaks were great. Angus beef served as requested. They may be a bit small for some folk but you can order more. We thoroughly recommend this deal.
Brunch with excellent wines cost less than 300 AED per head.

The vibe was fantastic, the food was excellent! It is a pity the first waiter never brought the ordered coffee, and when I ordered from 2nd waiter he told me it would take 30 minutes to prepare!

Steak was delicious, sauce was amazing would have taken a glass of wine if there was any French wine It might be a bit hard to have a conversation if you're eating outside, global music's a bit loud
Other than that, it was great! Definitely swing by if you're in Abu Dhabi!

We have other place in mind for dinner however for strange luck (and a stomach that can no longer wait) we end up in this place- at first we doubted and have a second thoughts if this is a good decision. Nobody was inside except the staff, aint that a sign. Well, thanks to the friendly crew's welcoming gestures that made us too boorish to decline.
Upon all that said and done - the food is astounding, steaks are done right and the sides can fly as mains themselves, absolutely delicious. Special thanks to Arvin that made the experience really worth going back.

The service was awesome, and our waiter Arvin was really friendly. Food tasted really good even though it came out late at times.

Best steak house in Abu Dhabi. Albert and his staff will go out of their way to meet your every need. Fridays Surf & Turf with music is a wonderful night food is amazing. Can't wait to return.

Dinner at Blue Grill is always a feel-good experience. You feel good not just because you had a delicious meal, which the chefs masterfully prepare. You feel good because you were treated as if you were the only person in the restaurant. The staff at Blue Grill, in particular the manager - Mr. Albert Bero, & waiter - Keannu, are very personable people. Each time we've gone to Blue Grill, Albert has greeted us with a warm & hardy welcome. His energy carries over to the wait staff, who strive to make the dining experience enjoyable. They have never fallen short.

Was delicious brunch which can't be forgotten, my daughter enjoyed the most, staffs were very nice and hospitable

Love this place. We ordered beef carpaccio, USDA Tenderloin, Ribeye and Salad. Everything was great including the complimentary bread, butter & olive.

One of my favorite places to dine and definitely the best (affordable) steaks! Maakoy served us with a smile and he explained exactly when we inquired about some of the dishes. Highly recommended!

We are at blue grill last night for iftar. Since we are late for iftar, we just order whats on their menu and we really enjoyed their foods, its really amazing.the staffs are so attentive and so hospitable.shout out for their very kind manager who offered us a complimentary drinks and something while waiting for the foods. Its really an awesome night, with delicious foods and incredible people!

Had an iftar here and the items on the set menu were all very good. The service is also top notch. Meats were well cooked. Their hummus and tabbouleh were amazing.

We absolutely loved the experience in Blue Grill steak House. We came for the Iftar and they offer Set Menu. It includes: soup, hot and cold entries, main - the slices of beef, mutton, chicken, desert - Umm Ali and plate of fruits. The food is excellent, the portions are giant, so I would recommend to have, for example, 3 portions for 4 people to share.
The waiters are very knowledgeable and caring, and Chef Arun is lovely person!
You can choose a table inside (different sizes available) or on the green cozy terrace overlooking Yas Plaza.

So expensive and the quality was mediocre. The truffle risotto tasted nothing like truffle and it was barely cooked. Although the waiters were incredibly kind

Last eve we attended tasting event @bluegrill_yasisland of their newly launched menu prepared by chef Mokhtar and it was incredible experience. Nestled on Yas Plaza, @bluegrill_yasisland at @yasislandrotana has built a reputation for quality steaks from around the globe.

@bluegrill_yasisland new menu offers variety of juicy, thick meats which are too good to turn down.

We tried slow cooked short ribs along with two chunks of beef – tenderloin and rib-eye that were cooked to absolute perfection, meaning our knives slice through the tender meat with consummate ease.

I personally loved their clam chowder soup, short ribs, both ribeye and tenderloin steaks and ofcourse yummiest desserts so next time when you are there don’t forget to try these dishes.

It’s a laid-back venue, thanks to the lighting and an outstanding service that was all what you expect from a fine dining restaurant.

Such a romantic atmosphere.we started with their cheese garlic bread as a treat then a fresh salad from the bar followed by the most juicy & tender piece from the Chief reservation cut (Cube $$$$) highly recommended for expensive taste & don’t forget to order passion fruit mojito as it gets your experience to another level?

We liked the chateaubriand. Friendly staff. Prices are reasonable for a grill restaurant with alcohol service. Definitely we'll visit again.

OMG, what an amazing dinner we had! Everything from the beginning to the complimentary dessert was simply perfect! The staff and the manager were all super friendly and the steak was cooked to perfection! We will definitely come back very soon!

Blue Grill is my favorite steak house in the UAE. I have been a frequent costumer since 2013 and when my wife and I want a special evening with great staff and amazing food, Blue Grill is our choice

Food was great but a seafood platter should have a piece of fish right? Service was good and staff helpfull. Dessert was a mindblower. Will go again

Sitting here right now and had an absolutely beautiful steak done to perfection unfortunately I have to board a plane soon and will not get back to during the year sometime but can’t wait the staff are ever so friendly. Thank you mr Paul

Steaks for us! Cooked to perfection, our steaks were juicy and soft.
We were served a wide selection of Mustard sauces - loved all of them. Honey Mustard is my favorite.
SAM our server, was the Star of the evening. Very gracious and hospitable. The whole team was awesome.
Will surely be back again. Keep it up guys

Lost their way I'm afraid. Used to be my favourite steak house in Abu Dhabi. Never busy but they still can't get the service or the steaks right.although give them credit after 5 out of 9 of our group returned cold steaks they all came back out perfect next time.

What a fantastic place to slowly enjoy your meal! Located near a couple of hotels inside a building with other restaurants, this is the one to pick when you want to enjoy your food to the maximum. Friendly and relaxed staff, nice selection on the menu. I was there twice in a single week the second time fortunately with more time than the first time and it was a good choice. Sadly, the Blue Grill is no longer the dining experience to rave about. In the past I have visited numerous times while staying on Yas Island and surrounding areas, and recommended it as the top choice in Abu Dhabi; easily out doing places such as BOA, Rodeo Grille, and The Meat Company. The simple classy wine bar has been removed and replaced by a salad bar (more worthy of going to the buffet down the hall). The decor of red carpets and darker dim lit romantic and classical atmosphere has been replaced with a variations of blue decor, seemingly to better match the namesake. Additionally, it appears that the dress code (smart casual) that was once in place is no longer, as a family dressed in shorts and athletic tees was quickly seated nearby. Upon seeing all of these changes, we opted to give the appetizers we loved a chance before deciding on main courses (Normally the Australian Wagyu for me and the Dry Aged Irish for her). The quality of the menu and recipes has also changed (no surprise the prices have not). Hunks of over cooked calamari that closer resemble onion rings and taste of fish sticks. These were once the most incredible calamari that changed my wife's view on eating them; could not stop raving. The scallops were also over salted, over cooked, and half the size they had previously been. Sadly, we chose not to order mains at that point for fear of even greater disappointment.

The steaks were cooked to exactly what was requested for a party of three. Rare, Medium Rare and Medium.

What was used to be a top restaurant in Abu Dhabi is now an expensive version of a mall steakhouse (think texas roadhouse, outback, etc.)

The service is not personalized anymore and even though the place is 3/4 empty, it was sloooow and not cheerful at all. The bar is gone, the menu has changed and with all of that the quality has completely disapeared.
