4 to 5 tables. Cant accomodate big family. I ate Ethiopian Food for the first time, it was great. I can't say how close is this to original Ethiopian Food. Overall u can try once.

A lovely and cozy place in the middle of the downtown with vegetarian options! I love Ethiopian pancake and their topping are just heavenly Reasonably priced and very friendly yet attentive staff. I took my mum who never had Ethiopian pancake but she liked it Will definitely go there again. Cash only payment so make sure you have some cash:)

Small but cozy place. Very polite and courteous staff. Great concept similar to an "Indian thaali" but in Ethiopian style with Ethiopian bread. The vegetables and meat were very fresh and flavorful. Loved the experience. Will go back again!

My first time eating Ethiopian food and I was amazed with the taste, presentation and royal service me and my family received. The food was so tasty the owner was fabulous her team were so welcoming. Great place to eat.

We really loved Etiopian Food. I came once few year ago and now returned there because it was really good. The restaurant is quiet small almost with only local people of Etiopia and the waitress is so nice and kind. If you want to taste real Etiopian food i suggest you a stop here.

This is basically the best Ethiopian restaurant in UAE I approve it the food is delicious I can’t stop eating once the plate on the table it’s addicting clean place and good service recommend!

Staffs were very kind and polite, they helped us to choose the dish since me and my friend tried Ethiopian for the first time. Food was very nice, they serve bread made up of teff (an Ethiopian ancient plant). We enjoyed the food.

We had some food here last night and it was great. Staff was lovely and the food soooo good! Definitely recommend it

I really thought about wether or not to review this place but I feel it’s necessary. I didn’t want to give 1 Star initially so I called the restaurant to speak to a manager or owner. I was told that they were not available. 4 days ago my husband who is American/white went to pick up food for us that I ordered on the phone, 4 different dishes. We ordered the lamb Tibs milde and spicy, and Fitfit. They gave us food that was not freshly prepared and different dishes than what we ordered. When I called they lied about it because they thought I didn’t know what the order was so I called her out. She then told me she was sorry and that they prepared the food before hand and not fresh. 140 aed Plus a very generous tip. All she said is we will give you food for free next time, but I don’t want free food. I just want what we ordered and for it to be prepared fresh when we order it. My kids and husband didn’t like it and sadly we just through it away. Its bad business and sad when people from other countries or cultures want to eat our food yet you give them what ever didn’t sale because you hope they don’t know the difference. I’m really upset but I hope this review reaches the owner and other people who want to try this restaurant. We won’t be going back again.

Food was amazing! Bonne Anne Special is enough for two people go share. Very flavorful! SN: they do not accept cards - only cash.

I love the place for their vegetarian platter (Yesom BeYatnetu) as shown below. Everything in the plate is great. My favorite is spinach, cabbage, and black lentil. Lentil is bit spicy but great as rest everything is subtle in taste. It’s good for two people and you can request them to change to other vegetable/ lentil if you don’t want one of the items. In the below picture I have changed potatoes to more spinach:). Staff is very friendly and hospitable. Much recommend!

The service staff were super friendly and helpful with explaining the dishes. Very good value for money. Tried the vegan/veggie sharing dishes on the traditional Ethiopian bread which is eating with fingers. Cutlery provided also for those not used to it. Safe provisions in place for social distancing.

I had lunch three days continuously in the same restaurant, but I had a concern with the cashier that I do pay my meal only with cash, and also I observed that the cashier is all the waitress are receiving the cash with no hand glove and no VISA service.

However, I feel not safe with current situation the deadly pandemic viruses COVID 19 to have such transaction with only cash.

But the service and food it self is good and I’m so happy from all stuff thank you so much.

The food and staff is great. I have been many times with my ex-girlfriend, who is Ethiopian, and we prefer this place over many others. My favorite is the derak tibs.

Authentic Ethiopian delicious food, friendly staff and pocket friendly pricing. Went to try Injera and Dorowot, but instead, tried Bonne Anne special where you’ll get Injera (the bread) + portions if 5-6 various side dishes, which makes more sense if you are a first timer- so that you could taste a bunch of dishes.
Well, and do order their special black tea as a ‘finisher’ (if that’s the word), which is served with a bowl of Popcorn. Loved it.

Budget restaurant yes, but food is actually really good.nothing fancy however if u are after Ethiopian food this place is must.it has local vibe.service is great too.we took one of the combo meal.it gives you chance to taste a bit of everything.

Tried the Bonna Anne Special, it’s a mix of mince, beef, lamb, cabbage, lentils and chickpeas which is swapped out for spinach served on Injera bread. Just one word, Delicious! I finished my meal in just 5 minutes and I’m looking forward to coming back already. The staff is exceptionally helpful.

Amazing food, and great service. I’ve been many times, and have never had a bad experience. Very good prices, and always friendly staff. The girls that run the place are welcoming to people from all over. 5

Abu Dhabi don't miss this restaurant! The food it's delicious, for me the best African restaurant ever. You will cry when you taste their meat haha. Food was great, just the oil in it made it 3 stars. Maybe if they fried it in olive oil. I would definitely visit again

The best Ethiopian food in UAE. Probably the only thing dubai misses on Abu Dhabi. Brilliant food. Do try the special tibs (stir fried sizzling beef) and the bonna anne special (platter of their menu good enough for 2). Absolute joy everytime I go there.

I read about this place before I came to Abu Dhabi and once their read about it in another publication. We were not disappointed. Amazing food, friendly staff and relaxed surroundings. If you want to be authentic eat with your hands. Cutlery would have ruined this experience. Lots of delicious food and my wife's comment of 'best food I've had so far in Abu Dhabi'. If you don't want to be an adventurous eater don't try this place but it would be your loss!

Loved this place. Very popular and small, so make sure you go early. Ethiopian food is tasty and unusual, it should not be missed. Excellent food at bargains prices.

We had the vegetarian injera bread which is served with a selection of lentil and vegetable dishes - it was delicious and we would highly recommend this dish! The restaurant had a variety of authentic Ethiopian meat and vegetarian dishes to chose from. Delicious food!

Some of the best Ethiopian I have ever had. And the staff are so lovely and accommodating. If I lived here, I'd be there all the time. Yum! (No credit cards)

It was my first time trying Ethiopian food and I really liked it. We were also served a bowl of popcorn with the Ethiopian coffee and tea we ordered.

Love the vibes at this place. Friendly staff and amazing food at great prices. The yesom beyaynetu is a great way to start your Ethiopian culinary journey. Or have a cuppa Ethiopian coffee, served with popcorn
