Boomah, The Owl Café

It is a small Café where you can enjoy beverages and a light bite. But the main attraction is watching the owls and have a mini tour and the opportunity to interact with them. It is quite busy so be prepared to wait.

They take great care of the owls and even let them fly free at night. It's a very unique experience! A little expensive, but definitely something to try! And if you don't want to buy the tickets you can view them through the window and enjoy a coffee. Cafe itself is a bit small, so I don't recommend for large groups. Shaikha the owl was so cute and would put her head down for more pets. Loved it!

The experience with the Owl is very nice. The please is a be hidden but definitely worth finding it.

What a special experience! A must visit in Abu Dhabi. The owls are so beautiful and very well taken care of. The trainer is informative, very professional and friendly. Will be telling all my friends and colleagues for sure to go visit!

Beautiful evening at boomah cafe the other night, enjoyed the atmosphere and had a pleasant time. Very surprised at how good they treat the owls.really wish someone would treat me the same way. Anyway, yes, their coffee is perfect and their desserts will hit the spot. (Date night gem) enjoy!

What an incredible experience. Definitely recommend it to anyone to do. The owls are incredible. The staff is very kind and helpful. The Cafe is nice but small but obviously the whole idea is the owls. Cafe is missing a bit of selections for food and snacks because at the moment it's only deserts. The vast selections of coffee is great though.

Its very small place and they charge 70 aed per person to enter to see birds. Coffee its disgusting.

It was an amazing experience to visit this owl Cafe. I could see the owls are very well taken care of and look all healthy! The staffs are very kind and friendly also. I love how they shared me educational information about the owls and they were really careful how to hand the owls especially when I could touch and carry them. I had ice tea and it was delicious too.
Definitely I will go back there and I recommend the animal lovers to visit there.

This is the worst idea ever.
To save some owls, and then to let them live the rest of their life tied to a shelf? !
This idea is so sick.
I looked at them from the window and my heart broke down to see them, standing tied there without any possibility to move or flight

My favourite place this year. I enjoyed every minute of it.
Suitable for kids 9 years and above.the owls are sensitive and calm. I don't advice having screaming kids around it.

This is an amazing place. My 3 year old daughter was so astonished and her face was amazing. Is a short experience. 15 to 25 minutes only, take the picture learn a bit, have a wonderful coffee and thats it. But really unforgettable 15 minutes.

Very nice place for a bird lover. The cafe is located inside Seef Village and one cannot drive inside. You need to enter the village by foot via Seef Mall or drive to the back of the village and leave the car outside. A visit to the owl's enclosure lasts 30 minutes and if people are inside, you have to wait. You cannot book the expefience via phone or net.

I didn't drink coffee there, but it was first time I have seen owls. Very beautiful and majestic birds. What I didn't like is conditions they keep birds in. This are night birds so during the day they must sleep, so as I don't think owners let them fly enough.

Boomah cafe provided a lovely experience. The cafe itself is teeny tiny, with only 4 tables and currently allowing maximum of 14 people to be in the venue due to current covid restrictions. We ordered a coffee and an iced tea, both of which were yummy but their serving size was shocking, especially for the iced tea. The owl encounter was the hero of this visit, of course. They were gentle and enjoyed being pet. One of their caretakers, Islam, freely shared knowledge and happily talked about them the whole time.

Boomah is a lovely place to visit especially if you are fond of birds and animals! I went there a couple of days ago with a friend and was terrified of petting the owls, but Bilal (the owl trainer) helped me overcome my fear and encouraged me to hold an owl of my choice. I chose to hold Venus who was such a beautiful creature!

You should definitely go here to enjoy a drink and experience petting/holding the precious owls!

Boomah Cafe is a great spot for a coffee, tea or cold drink with a friend or two. A small cafe, spotlessly clean, and smartly decorated. Of course, the highlight is the owls! You can enter their space, learn about each one, and even pet them gently. The staff here are wonderful, friendly and inviting. The owl handler too was informative and patient, taking us one by one to each owl. He answered all our questions about each one, and you can see how he truly cares for these magnificent birds. You should really stop in here for a break, it is like its own oasis from rest of the city - nice music, and fascinating creatures to contemplate with a delicious drink. Only cookies available for snacking, so eat something beforehand. We loved it!

Honestly the staff were not very welcoming, the experience was definitely good, different and new, the coffee was soo good.therefore the tickets were overpriced.

Boomah cafe is one of the best cafes ever! It's so entertaining! The owls are so nice and children get to enjoy the time we spend there, and their rose cafe is so amazing! I've been there a lot and I advice everyone to go there and take pictures with the owls and enjoy the coffee
