Beautiful place. Real sand by the pool makes you feel like you are on the real beach, we were chilling in the pool all day and didn't notice how time flew.
Fresh food in the open buffet was extremely tasty, especially the meat which they fry in front of you.

Where to even begin.
My partner and I have talked about visiting for so long, on Sunday we finally decided to drive to Abu Dhabi to try it and how I wished now we didn't.
Upon arrival the hostess and security guard were friendly.off to a great start (it's just after 12noon).

We walk into the venue and decide where to sit - 3-4 staff are not too far away huddled around the AC unit. No one comes over. My partner approaches to ask for towels, the waiter just pointed and told him to go over that direction. When getting the towels, my partner asked for an extra to be told only 1 towel per person (I would understand this peak time when its busy.but its early summer and the venue was fairly quiet).

No one approached us and asked if we wanted water.after an hour or so being there we ordered water - COLD water. We were given a bottle of local water, two glasses with ice. No ice bucket.in the summer.

We moved to the outdoor restaurant to order lunch - sushi rolls and two sea bass. We wanted to order some vegetables (they were on another dish) and said we would pay extra for an additional side. One sea bass came correctly and the other had the ratatouille side missing but with vegetables instead. We waited probably well over 30 minutes, followed up numerous times and never got the sushi. We tried to cancel the sushi (by this point over the whole experience, staff and venue), to be told, its coming, its coming. Eventually got it canceled and asked for the bill to see we were charged 'extra prawns' for the side which we never actually got!

The whole situation was a bravado.the waiter was very defensive, to be honestly didn't have very good English - which as a waiter makes it challenging for guests. Spoke to another waiter he just didn't seem to understand.

I work in hospitality, if it had been me. I would have offered the delayed sushi complimentary and apologised for the whole situation, but no one did!

Safe to say, I wouldn't return nor recommend the venue or staff. A huge shame as it could have had lots of potential.

Highly recommended! I spent the day with my friends from 12 to 7 pm. The staff are very professional and joyful. Food was really tasty and of high quality. Music was cool and the infinity pool is very nice. It’s definitely an excellent experience overall and a nice place to spend a nice pool day with friends

Café del mar is an amazing oasis in the concrete jungle of Abu Dhabi. I had an amazing experience in this place.
Almost all day long we spent by the pool, so 43 degrees heat wasn’t noticed.

I loved the music, the vibe, the level of service.

I loved the cocktails, the oysters I ordered were fresh and tasty. I highly recommend their signature cocktails.

Yesterday we called twice Cafe del Mar to know prices and conditions. Today we went there and conditions are different. Kids above 12 pay full fare, not above 16. Kids below 18 cannot use the big pool with views just the small kids pool. These are relevant information when someone calls and said they bring teens. It is counterproductive to antagonize clients by giving wrongful information, and then disregarding them on the entrance when we went on purpose to be there. I didn't accept, not going there again and don't advise to anyone.

Café de Le Mar is one of the most amazing places I've visited.

The staff were welcoming and eliza who works as a waiter was wonderful and kind and her smile does not leave her face and on Saturday they have a BBQ and a really special and wonderful day

Amazing experience in Cafe del Mar.nice infinity pool which reminds a bit of Seychelles with the rocks decorations. Nice dj.the bar in the pool is a plus! The food is excellent. I recommend this place 100 for a staycation or a beach day.

Very relaxing place to sit with friends. I was staying in the afternoon and was getting tan in paradise atmosphere and I stayed till night and enjoyed with dj music. Definitely will visit again. I recommend to visit for everyone

Eliza humiliated me and my friends. She was very rude and impolite. She shouted at me while we were exiting and accused of me of leaving an open bill — The bill evidently was not mine and she did not even say sorry. All the other staff were good except for her. I’ll never forget that moment.it was extremely humiliating and I hope they put her in training to be a better waitress.

I had the best hookah experiance in abudabi, the hookah host tarek has made a great shisha for me and my friends

Location and Music good, service is awful, asked 5 x times for drinks and 30 minutes still no drinks, went myself to the bar they said it will come, but still nothing, very annoying situation, we just left and will never come back again.

Tarek had great customer service and very friendly! The shisha was amazing! Beat shisha and place in Abu Dhabi!

Did the ladies day for 99 dhs- unlimited cocktails, water and included a “tapas platter”! Well worth it with the awesome ambience, tunes and sun bed offering. Lots of jacuzzis and pools to dip into! If the food was more thoughtfully done I would have given 5 stars but it was mostly like a kiddie meal

I really like the atmosphere of this place. The scenery was beautiful, food is delicious, and the music is fun. It has excellent quality and good service. The staff were very polite.

The music at this venue is ridiculously loud. There's literally nothing it adds to the experience of being in this place by having music thumping out.
It is also pumped out at a level that is massively disruptive to local residents. It's a shame that being neighbourly hasn't been factored into any of your considerations. The only request from local residents is to reduce the volume. It feels like a fair request, don't you think?

Don’t fall for the name, it’s nothing to do with the actual Cafe del Mar on Ibiza or Bodrum.
New Year brunch was terrible. The brunch started at 8pm, and they were still setting the place up at 1030. It felt unfinished and uncomfortable, and the brunch felt like an afterthought. They also advertised some performances, but they didn’t happen until about an hour after the brunch, and it was just a couple people spinning fire sticks for a few minutes out on the bridges. The DJ was mostly terrible, and even sang all the songs for an extended period of time. He could not sing. The reservation wasn’t right when we arrived. They booked for 3, but it was a party for two, and gave us a couch instead of a table. They did change our table so we could eat comfortably, but the food was very unimpressive considering the high cost of our gold package. All around it was boring, tasteless, lacked New Year vibes and the wine selection was terrible. This place needs better management and logistics.

Unbelievable that the management doesn't take action to reduce music volume despite all open complaints from the residents. Is that even legal to have loud music blasting all day/night in an open space close to residential areas?

I think they have missed the concept of “cafe Del mar” not great place to relax. Music is way too loud and not relaxing at all. We spent maybe an hour there and left.

I have just been to Cafe del Mar restaurant with my son. It was an incredible experience. Excellent food, lovely staff, service was perfect, atmosphere is great. We were attended by Sreejith, kind and very professional. All in all 5 out of 5

Cafe Del Mar is an amazing atmosphere with breathtaking views, it was a great day escaping from reality and unwinding a bit with some delicious cocktails and food.

Loved our dinner and bottle of wine there last week. Burger was amazing quality meat. Service, food quality and presentation top notch. Love, love, love the setting and music. Vibe is great and lived up to expectations. Thank you! Only grumble is cheapest wine bottle was expensive 60 dollars, would be great to run a promotion to reduce this.

Abu dhabi cafe del mar is a new place in town where to enjoy the amazing view of yas waterfront while chilling listening to the world famous soundtrack.
The place is nice but needs some more time to be in full operation since apparently they miss even basic elements for the classic cocktail bloody Mary. I will monitor for new updates
