Calicut Notebook Restaurant

Took take away and it was ok. One among many Calicut notebook restaurants and they keep their standard with exceptions at some places few times.

Don't expect a lot. We ordered kizhi parotta not worth its money, Its just chicken salna and parotta. They can Improvevise more for the money. We ordered other foods too, Taste is ok. Good cleanliness and well groomed hygiene staffs.

Excellent customer service and delicious food. A good place to have food with family and friends.

First time the food was awesome, when there's too much rush the food isn't tasty (this happened when I went for the second time)
Overall ambience was good and a must visit place

Huge capacity (with 82 tables) can accommodate 400 customers at a time.

Very good service.
Need to wait for food preparation n servings due to huge customer most of the time. But you get best food.
You will be served welcome drinks n hot water by the time your food get prepared in the kitchen.

Goto place for kerala style food. Good for families and friends.
The dynamite paneer like gobi manchuria, it had lot of oil in it.
Fish pollichath was awesome.

The food was not as good and tasty like before. Maybe we ordered for the dishes which were available at 11.30 PM & the ones we got were not upto Calicut Note Book standards and sort of remade.

Chilly ckn not tasty.ckn fry not tasty.ckn nuddles not tasty.porotta and Butter Nan tasty.we can see some Cockroach near our Table also.

Onam food we brought from this restaurant, tasteless, no quality food, wasted our money, next year definitely not visiting to this restaurant, this is the first ti I tried here onam food, Sabse worst so far which i tasted onam food. Some food spoiled, may be packed precious night. Very disappointed

For this ona sadhya they charged 40 aed, the food was not worth even for 15 aed. I waited more than one hour to occupy seat. It was my worst experience with calicut not book

Used to be a frequent visitor around 5 years ago while I was staying in abudhabi. Had the chance to visit again for lunch on August 26th 2021. It wasn't crowded as it used to be before due to maybe due to COVID 19 restriction and also because it was noon time on a thursday. Meals was good as usual but felt different than it used to be. Staffs are friendly as usual and cleanliness is above standards. Best place for friends and families to get-together.

The Organizing is nothing short of a disaster. The line has nonsense. People pay and stand all over the restaurant including next to people who are sitting down to eat. The food was tasteless. Half of items came half way through lunch. No order what comes first or later or where on the leaf it’s kept. It a clear way what u get and get lost approach to customers. I used to frequent this restaurant but today was the worst treatment I got compared to any reResturant in worlds

Ya good, welcome salad, can't say anything, amazing. And fish mango curry and fish tawa fry. Tasty and try to taste it.

Delicious authentic Kerala food served.value for money.quantity wise also very good.will definitely recommend this place.

A local favourite for Kerala/Indo-chinese cuisine. Biryani, kanthari fish tawa (spicy), traditional Kerala meals are great picks.

Excellent environment, friendly service, great menu choices and really decent food and at a little high price.

Iftar kit 2021 was delicious and worth for money but they don't provide carry bag for the kit, we have to carry the kit by hand; it's ridiculous

South Indian (Kerala) hotel. Huge dine in space available for family. Both vegetarian and non vegetarian available. Major food item is South Indian but also North Indian and Chinese food available. Taste is excellent. Hospitality is very good. Should try once. Located in 2nd floor of Madinat Zayed mall. Little bit crowded… might be due to the taste. Worth for money. Lots of varieties available.

Very expensive. 27 dhs for half nadan chicken Curry and it is not worth for the taste and quantity.

Food quality amazing, cleanliness good, service amazing.price also so reasonable. Highly commend the service staff for their long hours of duty yet great quality of service. Highly recommend

I visited them for onam sadya as they were very popular. They had a lot of varieties and I stood in que for over an hour to get a place. It was worth the wait, the food was delicious and there was so much variety. Loved it.

My first experience. My cousin took me to this branch in Madinat Zayed shopping centre. It took a while to serve the food after ordering, I can understand may be due to ramdan staffs are working less hours or too many customers after iftar.but my expectations were high. They served the Parota and the mango fish curry at first, by the time the beef came Parota was already over and by the time they serve appam beef was over may be they should think to serve all at once which will help the customers to enjoy at once. The mango fish curry was really nice and beef fry was average (something was missing). Had to give 2 star because of the appam. We never did mind waiting but after waiting for such a long time the appam was served half cooked which I didn't expect.

Crowded. Tables are too near. Family Privacy is a bit disturbed with lot of people around. Tables have lot of congestion. There was no food suggestion with concerns about one's tongue.

Nice South Indian restaurant! Banana fry with beef curry recipe is delicious. It’s their new recipe

Good hotel, spacious, variety of south Indian food available. Starters are very good. Environment is very homely. Food is not so apreciatable.

Great food great place to be at Abu dhabi for a great afternoon lunch. Enjoyed the best non veg and Kerala parotha at this place. Definitely would visit again. 5 star

It's just an amazing experience with the kind of fish curry with boiled rice served in this hotel. The delicacy with Kerala style preparation is too good. The taste of the food, ambience, cleanliness, service with speed and smile made me to thank the management. Since I am touring UAE, I have been visiting many restaurants in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, but this hotel is too good for quality and the price.

Well, I ate the first time in Calicut notebook. Excellent food and service, and yes, the staff is well aware of what they have on the menu.

I am injunction Malabar chicken curry and humor fish curry, coconut fish curry. Great taste.good for family also. Must try once if you are in any Dhabi.

Very bad service the staff who served us his pants almost going down and we didn't like the food and we seams calicut notebook cheated in food quantity I don't recommend

Best Christmas ever it was a great place to eat and celebrate but the care was so excellent. Christmas is about sharing and love. To talk about the food it was a experience of variety of Indian spices and the specials were great with the welcome drink till the end with desert. Keep it up to Calicut notebook and the entire team of Abu Dhabi (Madinat Zayed)
