This place has tasty and good quality indian food and sweets to offer. Staff there are nice and well behaved especially Mr. Sharbin. Do say Hi to him if you come across during your visit to this place.
A must visit place for all Indian chat and, Paratha and South Indian Breakfast lovers. The quality of food, the service and ambience all are amazing.
The service of Sharbin was Great. He listens to you and caters to all your requirements carefully. He is just awesome. He added one mire star to the service of Chhapanbhog.
One of the best place to have all Chat Items. There Dahi Raj Kachori Bigger one is a must try. There Rava Dosa is best among all Vegetarian restaurants I ever visited. Dahi Puri also they make a perfect one, Pav bhaji also is yummy so does Chole Bhature. I assume they have change in some chef or some recipe to make coconut Chutney. It was made from Dry Coconut powder and it was really bad and Tomato Chutney also was lacking taste
I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and frustration with the customer service my family and I received during our recent visit to your restaurant.
I visited your establishment with the intention of enjoying a pleasant meal together. Upon our arrival, I had brought along some chicken nuggets for my 4-year-old son. As we settled in and my son began to eat, I patiently awaited the arrival of my friends (7 ppl) who was joining us to place an order.
To my disbelief, a staff member approached me and informed me that outside food, including the chicken nuggets, was not allowed within the restaurant. I tried to explain that the nuggets were solely for my son's consumption and that he would finish them within a short span of time. However, the staff member remained unyielding and decided to escalate the situation by involving the manager.
What transpired next was truly disheartening. The manager not only displayed a lack of understanding but also exhibited a dismissive and rude demeanor. Despite our attempts to reason with him, he refused to consider our situation and instead created a scene over a minor issue. We were left utterly bewildered by the lack of professionalism and basic courtesy.
Furthermore, I would like to point out that there was no indication anywhere on the premises, whether at the entrance or within the restaurant, that outside food was prohibited. Had we been made aware of this policy beforehand, we would have certainly complied and made alternative arrangements. I strongly believe that clear communication is essential to prevent such misunderstandings and inconveniences.
As a frequent patron of various restaurants, including Indian establishments, I have never encountered such a situation before. It is disappointing that what should have been a simple matter of my son enjoying his meal turned into a needless ordeal.
I am reaching out to you not only to express my frustration but also to urge you to improve the customer service standards at your restaurant. Treating customers with respect and empathy is crucial in maintaining a positive reputation and fostering repeat business. I hope that you will take this feedback constructively and work towards ensuring that other patrons do not have to go through a similar experience. I spoke to Mr. Gaurav on call and he just listened and didn't even responded to me on this situation (on call) he just said ok as i figured out that no action will be taken at least as i know your business is going good but if these mishaps happens your business graph will go down. Improve your customer service.
I go to this place for food only. It does not have modern interiors like many restaurants. They serve you food curbside if you honk/ headlight dipper at them. There’s no valet/ free parking, so you have to pay for mawaqif if you go on a weekday. I don’t know if it’s relevant here, but once I saw the waiter drop a dish full of chaat (Indian savory) at floor behind the counter and he picked it quickly in another dish and looked around if someone noticed him doing that. It was served to someone but I was anyway about to leave so didn’t do anything about it.
Service is below average. We came with our family and our child was eating chicken nuggets, the staff came to us and asked not to feed the child inside the restaurant. We asked where it’s mentioned the manager said nowhere, its me who’s saying it and asked to leave if you don’t wanna listen. Such kind of service shouldn’t be encouraged. An infant won’t eat from the restaurant and even if you have such rules, better to mention it somewhere in the restaurant or in a manual guide.
The food very delicious Lip smacking my taste buds there Panner butter massala is very tasty. The ambience is very calm. The place is kept very much neat and all the hygiene protocols are followed Serving is done very quick for both home and at restro. Special Thanks to Manager Manish Sharma at this outlet for resolving queries on time for orders done by me He is very polite and understands the guest query very quickly For iddli sambhar lovers like me this is one of the best place for eat out to have authentic South Indian flavors.
Too expensive for the quality tried punjabi samosa and sev puri.samosa was 3.5 aed, not great. Tried better samosa for less than half price. Sev was also just ok.
Quality of food has reduced. Pav bhaji- Very average. There were no diced onions. Aloo Poori - puri was thick. Aloo curry was not upto expectation. Rava dosa - was not cooked enough.
Visited after long time, Once this outlet was serving good quality veg foods, but now quality is low and items are tasteless, only they are improving their prices, most items are of low taste and prices are very high as compared to prices, Not recommend,
Taste was good but I heard previously it was better.heard they aren't in partnership with Dubai one.anyways I had Malai kulfi which I thut was on stick but they made pieces and it was okay. I had butter masala dosa which is same as ghee roast I think but the masla could have been better as I have had better masla than this.although my uncle took me as he is a fan of kulfi on stick but it was an OK experience with disappointment
Chappan Bhog means fifty six food offerings. True to it's name, Chappan Bhog has indeed more than fifty six mouth watering food items on their menu. They serve both North Indian as well as South Indian snacks, Chaats, Lite bites, Parathas, Meals, street food, sweets and savouries. Their chaat items such as paani puri, masala puri, raj kachori, bhel puri, samosa chaat are top favourite. In snacks, Chole Bhature, Pav Bhaji are good. South Indian snacks have variety Dosas, idli, vada and uttapam. Street foods like vada pav, pakoda, aloo tikki, samosa, dhokla, khandvi, kachori are yummy. Aloo and Onion mix paratha with yogurt and pickle is a must try. They have a variety of parathas to choose from. Punjabi thali and Rajma chawal, Dal chawal are very good. Malai kulfi and Trupti bhog are all time favourite. The place is small but clean and food is delicious, appetizing and enjoyable. Only four tables indoor with a provision to add couple more in the outdoor during winter.
Their chaat is the best item to order! Even though I'm from kerala, i love north Indian chaats alot! Whenever I want to eat something healthy, something veg, i come here and this places satisfies me
Went to this place yesterday and ordered there best selling food, but it was not up to the expectations. Food was so sweet and was not fresh. Me and kids stomach alao got disturbed after eating this.
All the food was good and decent. But day by day their service gets too bad. Waiting a long for a simple dishes The way of presenting them self… We were in dine in and waited for long to even take the order.where only 2 tables was occupied.and also there were so many staff on standby.
You can try north Indian foods.south Indian foods are horrible.especially coconut chutney is served directly from fridge. Prices are costly for their service and food.sweets and snacks are really good but prices are bit costly.
Worst dine in customer service. Went into restaurant out of 4 tables 3 empty we took one table and keep on waiting no one took order or came to ask for order for 20minutes.
It is so ignorant of the order reciver that you give false commitment on delivering the order and make customer wait for 1and half hour and don't even have audacity to tell customer that you can't deliver. IF YOU DON'T WANT TO DELIVER TO THE CUSTOMER JUS TELL THEM WHILE TAKING ORDER. JUS DON'T TREAT YOUR REGULAR CUSTOMER WITH THESE KIND OF SERVICES
This india restaurant is located in abu dhabi. They have all types of indian sweets, chaats and milkshakes. Its very delicious. I had aloo tikki chat and vanila milkshake and mango milkshake it was very yummy. Prices are good and affordable for these tasty bites. If you are indian you will love it here. It will make you feel homesick. ️
Chappan bhog is well known world famous vegetarian restaurant yet I feel to write for my gratitude. Here in picture onion uththappam whith chutney I had. Also, did not forget to try out pani puri. The taste I really can't destribe. And food hygiene is well satisfied. Quantity is amazing and you received more than what you pay. Also, I do not forget to bring sweets home everytime when I visit there.
Horrible customer service. This is not the first time I have experienced this. Won't be returning ever. I should have walked out without giving them business. Apparently the lady could not walk two steps to change 400gms of sweet to 500gms. Fyi, noone was waiting to be served after me. Train your staff how to treat customers.
I have ordered dosa dhokla n some sweets. Dosa is good but the sambhar is tasteless and there was no veggies in it.worst! The gulabjamun was too sweet.in Lucknow there was much better food they served. Didn't like food here.
Today evening, I visit Chappan Bhog at Electra Street Abu Dhabi to purchase Panjabi Samosa. I found that, the sales girl was picking samosa using her hand, which I don't think, is a good practice. She was wearing a glouse in her hand, but she was using the same glouse for handling cash, picking samosa and other items as well. I was very much surprised that, the other sales man present there also pick the sweets and other items with his hand only.
All over the world is following safety and hygienic practices during the pandemic situation of COVID. I request Chhappan Bhog Management to encourage their staff to use tools to pick the sweets and samosas. (not by hand).
Chhappan Bhog is an Indian restaurant in Abu Dhabi, serving Amazing street food. The main course menu is limited. The Restaurants offers much more value in less money. Quick service, amazing food and very light on pocket. Must visit.
Best taste if you really want to enjoy vegetarian food. I really enjoyed their Thali meal. However, service could be slow so you have to order everything at once.
One of least tasty but most expensive place to even have Rasgulla. Their Rasgulla is more like of made of plastic instead of flour. Complete waste of time, money and efforts. Not recommended at all.
Excellent place.very tasty food.loves all the food from there.and the manager Mr. Zakir, very polite person.he really takes care of the customers concerns.
I am basing this purely on their delivery of samosa’s. The best samosas I have had in Abu Dhabi with just the right amount of spiciness. At. 2.50 dhs per piece great value as well
Awesome taste in affordable price. We have visited multiple times. Its a go to place when we badly want to eat chat items. My favorite is Sooji Pani Puri
Always delays in delivery.average waiting time is 1hr 45 mins! And it's not one-off experience.worst place to order for delivery.the drivers always have an excuse.
Great place to eat Indian food. The restaurant is near some of the banks. Is crowded with working people during lunch hours. They deliver the food also to home. Food is not so expensive. You can get variety of Indian sweets like laddus Ras malai, barfi etc. They have special thalis during the time of Navaratri as well. Outside seating is also available. They have a television to avoid boredom. Chaat foods are worth trying. Best thing, it's a vegetarian restaurant where you can speak in Hindi and they will understand too.
I have been to Chhappan Bhog in Dubai, staff were so kind, but in Abu Dhabi Chhappan Bhog still need to learn some manners, we were quite upset been there couple of times, from now we don't want to visit Chhappan Bhog. Horrible Customer service. Infact i dont want to give any Star
One of the classic Indian sweet and chat cafe that offers economic vegetarian options. The restaurant is a perfect choice for those with a sweet tooth and the desire to taste every combination of Indian sweet available.
Poorly maintained. Food is good. Tables are not properly cleaned. Staffs are over stressed and over worked, they don't have time to attend to the staff anytime you walk in.
Food is nice and tasty.but service is slow I felt staff are lazy and don't care about the customer. Visited 2 to 3 times last month. I will not visit again. First time I felt they are busy I was not even asked for water q
Thanks to them u get to atleast eat something similar to the yummy snacks that's abundant in India. I still dont understand why they are unable to match the taste but have to live with this in Abu dhabi.
