Excellent food at reasonable price. Had the papri chaat and dahi balla, sada dosa, pav bhaji, deluxe thali, chole bature, aloo paratha, kulfi and kala jamun. Well, highly recommend chole bature and thali. I thought aloo paratha could have been better, it was bland at the same time oily, like after thought of the chef. Pav bhaji was hot but not the taste I was expecting, pav were perfect. Thali is definitely worth the money and every bit tastes good. Dosa gets 10/10 too. Kulfis 15/10.perfect sweet, perfect taste, so was kala jamun. I would definitely go back and try the rest of the menu Service was very attentive, friendly and nice Thank you
First of all to say the food we received was very poor quality. The staff behaved very rude. We ordered butter nann and paneer tikka pudhina and palak paneer. Nothing tastes better.we weren't satisfied with the food.
Hd ordered their pani puri, it was good but a little crusty. There is no parking near the door, have to stop on the opposite side. Beside this, everything was good.
Very tasty Indian veg food. 4 stars cause the hand wash area is kind of small with trash can next to you. They had wide variety of mouth water Indian sweets and a live chat counter. We ordered punjabi veg thali which can be shared by 2 and chole bhatura which got us full. The thali comes with 4 slices of roti with rice and various side dishes. It was a dream come true having indian veg food after long time. Thali was priced at 27dhs.
Absolutely perfect food I was before here in 2016 to several time till 2018 March. About taste of restaurant food I’m still speechless about taste, I haven’t tasted from any either restaurant same food. This restaurant food as Puri bhaji, dosa, dal makhni & kadhi chawal. Is absolutely no where in world you will find this taste. If I will ever back in ABU DHABI THAN DEFINITELY I WILL COME BACK FOR TASTE SAME FOOD. God bless you whole staff keep it up Guys.
The best among vegetarian restaurants in Abu Dhabi. Quality, portion size, service - all satisfying. Sadly, since Covid - their plate/thali looks leaner.
The restaurant was quite busy most of the times, I feel the price is more compared to the taste. But anyways, I liked their chana bhatura with onions and lemon. I even enjoyed their punjabi thali and executive thali although not much off difference.
Not as it used to be, very hot inside the restaurant and food has lost its bite. Not the place where the food used to be top notch. Has skipped the quality mark.
I have Been a regular visitor here but the customer satifaction has gone down drastically …. The waiters are rude and least bothered. The ac has not been working since ages And the management is not at all interested in fixing it. The staff and the customers are sweating …
One of the best veg food in uae. Specially punjabi thali and malai kulfi. Taste is A1 class. Price is worth as per the taste. Usually i dont find north indian taste in uae. So i will give 5 star
If you are looking for great Indian food, then here it is. Chappan bhog in shabia is the best veg restaurant. They have tasty chaats, pakodas, thali. If you go, will not regret.
I don't know how and why people rate it anything below a 4. If you want authentic North Indian food it's perfect. Try the mini thali at AED 17.5, comes with 2 vegetables that change every day, 3 tandoori rotis (they have an option to change it with rice), papad and onions.
Unfortunately I regret saying the taste of Punjabi thali and pav bhaji was bad.no taste no flavour at all.dosa was ok ok. I had a bad experience. Would not recommend anyone to have dinner or Lunch.may be break fast is fine
Food is always very tasty here. But somehow they need to understand that even if they are following covid guidelines they need to ensure the customers also shown. Wearing one glove for preparing chaat is not correct. I had to refrain from ordering chaat
Delivery is very poor.before ordering food staff says it will take one hour to deliver whatever food. Before not knowing what food we are going to order.
Fast service Hey, it was a breakfast! Good North Indian menu and we can feel the taste of parthatha like we had back home in India. Better if we can have those with white butter. Very simple poori bhaji is basically fried bread and potato curry was also good. Need to work on the dress up of the waiters I couldn't find them neet though the attitude of the staff was very friendly.
Selling stale Indian sweets and samosas. Absolutely stale stuff. Their kitchen is in Dubai and looks line delivery only happens in a couple of days. Rajbhog nearby is better bet
I heard about this indian restaurant near by in shabiya through one of my indian colleagues and thought to give it a try today and bought some snacks like samosa and bhajia for iftar, found it amazing, on top of all the people who served me they were supergood, they took minutes only for my order, i am very happy for this as i am fond of samosa, will recomend my friends.
Chappan bhog thali cost 20aed, but not worth the money. Food taste is below average.it includes rice, few puris, 4 curry, a gulabjamun, sliced cucumbers, papad.presentation is good. Home delivery is done fasly that is is good thing.
Ok. So we tried bhature chole: 5*, mix uttapam: 5*, poori bhaji: 4*, rava dosa4*, idli: 5*. Overall a great place to enjoy authentic no spicy Hindustani food.
Ordered 3 times from my office in Mussafah.the quality and time taken to deliver is pathetic.the delivery guys are so rude.they talk as if they are doing customers a favour.perhaps Chhappan Bhog has no competition and they are doing great business. They have no care for customers. The quality of food is horrible the only thing better was chatt items even that also they cannot deliver on time. And theh show so much of attitude
Chhappan bhog retaurent is very very good of neat and clean.it is a pure vegterain restourent.i like it because i am vegetearain person.but i weeknees this restourent it is some expensive.so normal people like labour, driver are not capable for this restourent.so pleaze some offer for specialy labour and driver is low cost thanks
Wife and Me shared a plate of Paani puri, Bhel puri and Channa Bhatura this evening - something was missing, didn’t have the usual punch (flavors) as before.
Visited after few months, my favorite place. But found quality of food changed - Chana bhatura- chana was with gravy not thick and spicy! Bhatura was like a big poori, Not spongy as bhatura is supposed to be! Why saag was watery instead of thick? Management, your quality is waivering, first time in my 4 years experience.
I had been a regular visitor at this place. However off late they have ruined the quality of their food, especially the Chaat items. Home delivery is quite fast and within the time promised but sometime stale food is delivered, Ex. Jalebi I had ordered but what was delivered was stale.
Their sitting place is sufficient thus you don't have to wait in queue to get your turn.
Best part is you can visit the place with your family.
