Cipriani, nothing. Turkish director, two Filipinas at the reception, all foreign staff. Not even 1 Italian. We start with a table booked at 9PM, we arrive at 8.50PM and they seat us at 9.15PM, which can be done with a full restaurant, but it had 3 tables, empty! Waiters with white jackets dirty, but not a little, with sauce! Our waitress is unprecedentedly rude, I ask her for a carbonara and she replies NO, we have the cacio e pepe which is the same. I ask her to cancel two glasses of wine to get a bottle and she says NO, the system won't let her. We order 2 salads, 1 arrives, we ask for the second and they bring it later together with the pasta. A disaster, run away!
We visited during the formula weekend. The staff were trying to be friendly however they were quite rude and condescending. We were not given instructions on how to access restaurant and when we asked the answer was well it's in the terms and conditions that you signed! A little help and direction would have been nice! The atmosphere indoor was terrible, lighting too bright and decore is mid. Outside seating was better. Service is average to say the least. The food was a big shock to us. And for the outrageous prices, this was not acceptable. Not a single dish was acceptable, too oily and no flavor whatsoever. The famous vanilla cake is a joke! Not sure how this restaurant survived all this time. But for us never again.
Amazing restaurant sat in a beautiful location.i had to find a venue to entertain four very important clients, the staff went above and beyond to make this happen last minute which helped me out tremendously. Great food served in a great atmosphere, but best of all is the service from the staff.thank you so much and we will definitely be coming back.thank you.
What a fantastic restaurant. It really had it all going on tonight. The service was immaculate, they did not miss a beat. Food was all on point. Started with a calamari appy with tartar, and fresh bread. We then had the Teriyaki salmon and Armenian shrimp curry. Finished off with a Meringue cake and homemade ice cream. Service and food like this is not cheap, but this was worth the expense. Top notch all the way. The deck and view are also amazing looking out on the marina. If you want an amazing dinner and night out, check out this restaurant!
Try the Italian classics and you will not be disappointed. Baccalà mantecato, fegato alla veneziana, vitello tonnato and cacio e pepe are among my favorites
The food was amazing. Having said that, every time I go there the staff aggressively remind me to give them a tip saying "service charge is not included". Why is that my problem? Marina Mall branch to be specific.
Nice personnel, spectacular view, good drinks and elegant ambient. But: The food itself was good (nothing more) and considering that, the price was shockingly high. If you want to have a beautiful evening at a noble location and don't want to keep an eye on money, I can recommend the restaurant. If you want to watch your spendings even a little bit - don't go there.
Amazing experience with wonderful view and atmosphere inside the restaurant, the service is far beyond what we could imagine, you are waiter fully dedicated to your service, Simone were of great help during my dining, I give 5*
Very opulent, good food, two-page menu (not counting desserts), lovely view, the cheapest meal (actually an appetiser) is already around 70 AED, very quick service, courteous staff, easy to park (at least when I went on a weekend night), and accessible location.
A horrible experience! What a waste of time and money. To start, although we had a reservation, we had to wait for 15min to get our table. The food quality is below average by all means, the presentation, temperature and taste not even close to a small coffee shop. We were two couples and none of us enjoyed any part of the menu items we have ordered. The spaghetti with lobster was put of taste, the lobster was undercooked. The wagyu fillet was for sure a normal grass fed angus and never close to wagyu. Furthermore, the service was horrible, the waitress Sherine was in a hurry, she was removing untouched plates as if she wants us to leave, she was throwing the plates on the table as if someone was forcing her to work here. Her grumpy face was definitely a killer for our night so we left the place hungry after paying a considerable bill and left to a more respectable place to continue our evening.
We called them to confirm if they are open. The manager said yes they are till 12 am. When we entered they asked for our negative pcr+ vaccination, which we presented. After checking the very rude Manager (Italian guy I think) said the place is closed with a very rude language and rude body language. He was very rude and he needs to learn some manners on how to speak and behave to guests if he’s not already been taught that in the hospitality industry. I own 12 restaurants and if I ever had an employee like him, he would definitely be fired. Never coming back here again. I never really write bad reviews but this guy is really rude.
If you think you are going to have a quiet fine dining experience, forget about this place. Located right above Iris, the terrasse is so loud, you can’t have a conversation. I cannot believe Cipriani´s management can accept it.
Didn’t expect such bad service experience to happen in Cipriani (Abu Dhabi). A restaurant with such high reputation should offer excellent service and experience to their customers, yet “Phillip” wasn’t in that mood, I advice him to go somewhere else and leave the service for someone more eligible.
Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in yas marina. The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in other mouths. Absolutely the best meal i had. Highly recommend!
It was a bad experience. The person in charge of organizing the tables did not give us a chance to choose the right table for us despite the availability of tables. Also, at the time the order was taken from the menu, the waiter was not clear in explaining the menu and he didn’t help with the selection. In the end, after I paid the bill, they didn't give us towels like the rest of the tables until we asked them to do so
Very nice restaurant. Site is relaxing along the Yas Marina. Especially at night with the cool air. The personnel is extremely kind and taking well care of their customer. The wine list is rich with very good choices at all prices. The food is exceptional. Cooked to perfection. The tiramisu is a reference. Globally, I would recommend to not miss Cipriani if you come to Abu Dhabi. This will become our go to place for relaxing events during the year.
I was there yesterday with my family to celebrate my birthday, and I felt like the staff were so racist to us (we’re emiratis) from the way they were serving us and how they served some foreigns.my family asked for a birthday cake for me and a little celebration, and all what they did were putting the cake roughly on the table in front of me from nowhere I was literally shocked it was so rude. 10 minutes later they started singing a birthday song to another table (the customers were foreigns) and they were so kind to them, literally the opposite way they were treating us. And the most funny part that made me literally shocked that I couldn’t say anything, one of the servers came to us and asked us to drink our coffee right now otherwise it will get cold, and he asked it in a rude way, like i think it’s none of your business and i can drink my coffee whenever i want. I think it’s the last time I will visit this branch. My day was ruined.
Reply to Cipriani's response: If you need "regular Joe" to give you specific feedback on what is wrong at your venue: 1. In a worst situation than I thought. 2. Condescending and trying to create the impression you are addressing the issues. The place needs a new kitchen, a new menu, new furniture and new management.
Initial review: The pricing is that of a one star Michelin, the quality is that of an average street corner restaurant. The menu is all over the place, "rushing" from basic Italian pasta dishes, through 1500AED caviar ending in Sushi. The mark-ups are out of this world, cola 255 ml bottle @ 40AED. Burata salad at +400AED
Amazing place! Totally worth a visit, the vibes are purely Italian. The staff showed great knowledge of the menu choices. The ask about your taste, what do you feel like eating and recommend based on that. Last time I was here I asked for an outdoor table, today I was seated inside. Both experiences are equally exquisite. Totally recommended.
Overpriced is right, but nothing too crazy. Went for dinner celebrating my birthday. Atmosphere was cozy and setting was pretty good. The food was really good too which made the whole experience worth it.
The food was tasteless and disappointing. The service was bad and the waiter had an attitude idk why even though we were so nice to him the whole time:)
Welcome to Cipriani! A piece of land from Italy that you will find in Abu Dhabi!
I'm so overwhelmed to see the decor of this place. Quite polished and soothing.
I ordered eggplant parmigiana which was awesome in taste. Also had all time favourite white sauce pasta which was bon appetite!
Coming on desserts! I had Mille Foglie and Crema antica which tasted goodish to my taste buds. But Tiramisu which I ordered latter was the cease for mouthwatering!
Staff is very polite and serving is fast!
PS: - This place is highly recommended when Sebastian Vettel will drive you crazy. I'm talking about F1 in Abu Dhabi folks! Yas Marina Circuit. Kudos!
Lovely place with beautiful views on Yas marina and W hotel. Interior design is cleverly done. Sweets are to die for. Manager Daniel and all staff are frendly and helpful and helping to have fantastic urban but classy feeling of the place. Love it
Deliscious restorant for special occasions. One of my preferred in Abu Dhabi when I need to eat something really extraordinarily Italian Top of quality and autenticity in food and courtesy.
The best restaurant experience in Abu Dhabi! The service, the food, the mood, the view, the friendly staff, the Italy resemblance.a memorable moment in Cipriani! A little expensive but it’s worth it if you want to have a 5 star dining experience.
Beautiful location at the marina and near the F1 track. Gorgeous views, amazingly delicious and beautiful dishes. Very attentive and professional table service. Truly overwhelming dining experience in a beautiful oasis. Expect top end Italian cuisine here but also expect top prices as you will get the best. The setting is stunning the service impeccable and the food delicious. Great views to marina
The food is great, the service was over and above, and also nice view of Yas Marina. The restaurant though is dead. Nobody was there, so the ambience was quite drab.
Heard a lot about the place and we decided to come from dubai today.the view is very good but the food was horrible.very disappointed and we asked to change the plate but same same it seems like the food was reheated.first and last time
Its a great place for Italian dinner. I love their Burrata salad, its one of my favorites. I also like their pasts in general, they are light and yummy. Im not a big fan of their desserts nor the drinks. In winter i would recommend sitting outside because the view is nice.
Fantastic food and very professional welcoming staff, the atmosphere is great with lovely views of the yas marina, love the little electronic windows with a sea view on the screen!
Amazing food, but the vibe is not what it used to be 4 years ago. `disappointed that the weather was beautifu and they did not allow us to be seated in their outdoor area, child friendly
