The reason I'm giving it one star is because i got an sms from DOH stating that i am presumptive positive and i needed to go to this centre for a pcr retest. After seeing reviews about people waiting for 4+ hours i decided to reach there at 6am to get a token. Instead i was told by a guy named Brian that since i am presumptive positive i need to go and do the pcr test in any of the drive through seha centres in city.

My suggestion to DOH is that if a person is presumptive positive kindly mention the correct procedure and steps to be adhered to. Thank you.

I hope they could make the process better to avoid having people stay there for more than 4 hours. Perhaps a booking system?

I'll just come there around 11: 30am to do my assessment for home quarantin, they give me number, while I'm waiting my number, I'll asked one Indian lady there where I'll going to do assessment, she told to me that I'll go to the one Indian lady also which she's seating Infront of the table in waiting area, then when I'll reach my number she asked me about my home, and I'll told to her that I'm totally alone I will do it for home quarantin, then she said to me go home and wait for the coll to put your watch just like that, she didn't even register me or telling to me that I'll see a doctor, what she did to me this morning is make me crazy, I'll goi back home just waiting for the coll but no one coll me

Extremely disorganised for Covid assessment, people with babies are waiting for hours. I am not sure why people have to do ECG - takes 3-4 hours to finish one test.

This is the only center available to expats, the waiting time is roughly 3hs… I appreciate the attention and care received, however, for COVID patients with symptoms, I’m not sure this is the right process to be followed.

If there's a 0 score i would definitely give to this centre,
Accompanied my sister for her assessment, been waiting outside the centre for 6 hours and till this moment her name is yet to be called for the blood test.

Totally unorganised, no enough parking so unless you reached early you will struggle to find a parking which means mor and more delay.
All positive cases and some close contacts suppose to go there and this make the place over crowded and need very long time to finish and you can imagine if you are with children what the scenario will be…
The staff trying to do their best and really hats off to them? But they work under much load.

My family and I went there too early so we finished after 2 hours only because we use the family queue.
Any way you have to go before 8 am to finish early…

Good service. Doctors, nurses all staff very helpful. If you need quarantine facility by seha inform doctor. But have to go prepared with your personal needed items. Very good service by UAE Govt.

My experience may have been quite negative (yes there are queues, and long waiting times and many other things which could have been better) but looking back, I've decided to give FIVE STARS to the doctors and nurses for their hard work and dedication. They work under extremely difficult and dangerous conditions endless hours. I give FIVE STARS to the Government for the free quarantine kit, the free medicine and all the other support throughout the healing process. I give FIVE STARS to my doctor, Dr. Huna who called to follow up with me about my condition and give me further instructions. And I give FIVE STARS to Dr. Saer (hope this is the correct spelling of his name) Emirati doctor at the Blood Test section. Thank you so much doctor for your help! It's been a pleasure meeting a person like you

Very very long time waiting
I can see employees doing nothing
And just saw all comments are bad about it
I hope the management can do something to improve it

Extremely extremely disorganized. They don’t care if your in pain or your symptoms have escalated and your not feeling well. No humanity for what the patients are going through.

Its worst simply.they make u do tests and lot waiting time like 7 to 9 hours totally unprofessional facility

The worst medical experience. Extremely unorganized and unsafe, there were packs of sick people in corridors and no one will direct you on what to do, you will spend at least 9 hours there, majority of which are waiting. I came home in tears because it was so bad. How can you treat sick patients like this?

Good facilities with helpfull staff and dr. As well, I appreciate the UAE govt for this arrangement for Covid patients.

Don't get Covid, if you did dome come here, this place is hell, you will waste your time, instead of resting an home you will be in this freezing "hospital" waiting for hours and hours just to get a wrist band on your hand.

Assessment center functions everyday at 0800 till 22 00 hr
But the people starts to get tokens from 06 00hr.
Average waiting time for normal Walk in is 3 to 4 hours due to the crowd as of the time of review 04-06-2021.

Well maintained.
Keep you hygiene kit with you as the place is crowded.
Don't expect the wow service as each employee are under tremendous workload.

Initial tokens are hand written, and they call out it louder as clock hits 0800.
Keep your patience.

Once they call, they will tag you as red and yellow accordingly as per you condition and number of time you are positive consecutively and you get other token for registration either to swab retest or physician consultation.

Here is the longest waiting unless you are among the first few numbers.

One done swab will be done fast, seeing doctor take a little longer, starts with vitals check followed physician examination.

Physician decides further evaluation like x ray, blood test and isolation type (home or quarantine facility)

If home, quarantine watch will be applied.
10 days of quarantine and 8th day repeat swab.
Instructions will be given from the counter.
Then pharmacy if needed, vitamins medicine are not available in pharmacy (out of stock)

Then free to go home or quarantine facility.
Make sure you checked watch before leaving premises, its very difficult if there is any defect and you are at home.

Activate watch as early as possible as you reach home.

٢. التأخير بالإجراءات حيث أنتظرت حوالى 7 ساعات حتى يتم تركيب الساعه
٣. الاختلاط لجميع الفئات النساء والأطفال والرجال والعماله الوافدين ولايوجد تقسيم مما يزيد نقل العدوى والاصابه بكورونا.
٤. من المفترض بأنه يوجد قسم خاص لفك الأسوار دون الدخول للمستشفى حتى لايحصل اختلاط وأصابه بكورونا مره أخرى

In my uae life this my first worst experience i had really shamed on this

I got the token waited two hours one lady camed remove all saying go other hospital with hearing anything

If you are covid positive you will receive a message to visit this centre within 24 hr but when you will visit this centre they will ask you if you have a separate room and inform you to get one more covid test before they will do your medical examination which is not not mentioned in the message received for covid result.
Make sure to have 2 positive test results before you visit this centre.

The staff not listening who reach prime assessment centre mafraq. I was only presumptive positive.they send me 10 days quarentine. I never positive.

Poor experienced staff. THIS CENTER IS NOT FOLLOWING UAE COVID-19 safety measures and precautions. If you don't believe me then do mystery visit during peak hours and see yourself.

Very bad experience.too much crowded.long waiting time.if you are negative 100% you will get positive after entering.

Prime Assessment Center - Mafraq is the worst place where a positive person should be. The environment is chaotic and has lots of people together at the same place without safety distance. The staff seems lost and my medical appointment felt like a joke. I was waiting 5 hours to see a doctor that told me that I need to do a PCR. I was in the doctor's office with no privacy and 4 other patients. Waiting 5 hours around people couching/ sneezing to do a PCR and go back home. Next day after de 2nd PCR same process and same time waiting. It was a nightmare and it's not acceptable.

First I need to explain their good thing is they provide me good food after 4 HR waiting outside. Very bad reaction from their staff especially working in covid 19 prime care. Ideally as a healthcare worker supposed to admit in a hotel isolation as per DOH protocol. But they not following. They only look the citizenship and react.poor Indian, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nepal countries healthcare workers they treat as slaves.

Be prepared to wait for at least 5 - 9 hours. You will be moved from one place to another and while you see the doctor and nurses for consultation you will have zero privicy, multiple patients with you in the consultation rooms. Have to give credit to the security at the main entrance door, only people there that is friendly.

The Prime Assessment center open at 8 Am and they work till late evening

When we first visit we felt like they are taking more time and its hell lot of delay but in fact the place is well organised and the staff is very well experienced and taking quick actions

But remember when there is a crowd you have to expect delay.

100s of Covid +ve patients are there yet all of the staff members are very calm and supportive

Extremely disorganized and chaotic. No priority for pregnant women or children. I have waited for 90 minutes to registers and 2: 30 minutes to see the doctor. Place needs more organization.

The only good thing about here is that the whole process is free of cost. Please those who can quarantine in a private room or hotel, please stay there and don't go to the isolation center. I have started my queues 11AM and still in the queue at 12: 15 midnight and still haven't been shifted to the room. Please choose smart watch instead of isolation center.

Corona doesn't hurt as much as the long procedures and queues do.

I wish they would allocate other hospitals in the city to handle covid patients.
Too many people and every visit the wait is around 3-4 hours and thats very exhausting for someone who has covid.
Moreover, the hospital is extremely far away from the city.

Still don't know why people gave it 1 star.
It's been straightforward and good experience at the time of writing (Mar 2021).
They even provide food for people in the waiting room, what more can you ask?

Very slow and only two counters opened. This is the only center to visit in abu Dhabi city for second test and only two counters.i have been waiting for more than one hour and a half

Very good facilty and Staff are very friendly, Abudhabi Department or Health is taking care of their residents with great care.
