Desert Safari Camp

This activity is really over commercialized. The camel, you go on the top and take a photo, the quad, you have few minutes turning in round, the show, divided in 3. Food is indian. You don’t really have the sensation to be in a natural area anymore. The staff is nice. The activity however does not worth to do it except if you never done something similar before.

It’s an experience but whoever runs this place should do it more professionally because being out in the desert and seeing the litter makes me not want to come back. It seems that the ones running the site does not care about the environment. It’s definitely a place to attract tourists but do not know how

Shows were short and shallow, only the fire show was great.

Dissaponted. Went for AED 50 package.
3 mins of desert drive in land cruiser.
Cultural programs and food were provided. Low quality food, not cooked well.
If you wish to get some nice experience, try bit more expensive package at your own risk

Got for just the dune bashing, which is as good as any Rollercoaster you can ride.the rest of it is total waste of time.

It was very disappointing trip for me and my family. They picked us up and drop off on time. But once reached to the destiny, they left us on our own will. The package included many things like dune bashing, henna tattooing, camel ride, so called buffet and bbq, picture in local costume. But everywhere there was a long queue. Free henna tattoo was just a small outlined flower, it's better not to do that. Camel ride was hardly 20 camel steps long. Food was tasteless. BBQ was very limited (2 small chicken pieces). Rest of the attractions like falcon photography, quad biking, snacking etc were paid services not included in the package. Belly dance, tanura dance, fire show were good. But overall it was not the same as shown in the various websites.

Very bad service cars and bus was horrible food too as well the guide doesn't really show up once you pay him everyone there wants to take money from you the camel is abused and being beaten by the guy and wants to bite the guy everyone want to sell you something you don't really have peace there at all not recommended at all

Food Was not same as shown. They just want you to buy the vip ticket. 1 tea stall is handling 1000 ppl so you can imagine when u will get the tea.very over crowded. 1st and last deset safari of dubai

Overall it was nice experience except that they completely misunderstood what is dunes bashing is. For them driving car at high speeds for just 2-3 mins is dune bashing. They completely got it wrong. I had been to Dunes bashing before, so i know the true meaning, excitement n adventure of dunes bashing. Avoid this place if u see Dunes bashing as one of your major activity for desert safari.

As someone who has gone for desert safari at other camps before, there were some glaring lack of services in this one.
1. The location is in a place with very small dunes, so there's not really any scope for much sand boarding.
2. No free snacks or drinks were available until after sunset (we reached there almost 2 hours before sunset)
3. The camel ride was extremely short and had a huge queue.
4. The sanddune bashing in the car lasted less than 5 mins and even that was not really over many big dunes but mostly plain sandy area.
5. The lines for food, snacks and drinks were outrageously long.
6. Limited variety in snacks and drinks.
Only pro - the performances were nice.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. This is not the best desert safari you can experience in this country.

Overall it’s a good outing and desert experience but better to go on a weekday where there is no rush!

I think the single real and true thing about this cheap tour was the belly dance and show; the rest was all business and lies; first of all, the meeting point was at Al Wadha mall at 1: 30pm, they changed to 2: 15pm; then, we waited 1 hour to depart; we were transported in an old uncomfortable bus almost 3 hours whiteout knowing where is the final destination and how much time left for driving. Then we arrived at a “desert” and we had a 5 minute dune bashing and after we were practically left there without knowing where we need to go for the promised activities. We saw the camels and we did the 30 seconds camel ride included - which I regretted, because that camel was really tired and looked sick and old; there was not coffee and it was only boiled water and tea pockets; it is included a small heena tattoo, if you want a bigger one you have to pay; the soft drinks included are not in individual bottles, they are in big bottles; the food buffet was ok.
We’ll, I totally not recommend this tour.
We were so disappointed and felt so lost.
If you want a better experience in desert, find a credible agency and pay for it.

A waste of money and time. No information provided at all the whole time. They called us 3 hours before the meeting time to come 2 hours earlier than we were expecting. We were there in time but we had to wait 45 minutes just for the departure. We were seated in a 100 years old bus. 3 people were crammed in 2 seats for a 2 hours drive. You have to wait a lot for every activity and there is no information about anything. The camel ride is in a 10 meter circle. They dont give any food or water (which was included in the price) and you basically just sitting for hours if you dont want to pay for the ugliest henna or a very boaring quad drive.

Stay away from this place, they all trying to rip people off, if you're unlucky and have no cash with you they will charge you VAT and another 5% "bank charges" if paying by card.

Dune bashing was rgreat adventure and Malik the driver was exellent, but the dinner in the camp was disapontment.
A lot of time without structure when everybody in the camp are trying to charge you extra

Ambience is very Pleasant, we enjoyed car ride & bike ride the most. Awesome experience, but it's better to go in your own vehicle if you want to spend more time there. Tourist Buses are going very late & we have to hurry back for returning. All special attractions were Superb, but the Fire Activity was Superbly Awesome. We all were Awestruck watching it

It's an awesome experience. They have many activities like Dirt Racing, Camel Ride, Horse Ride, Desert Safari. Out of all these Desert Safari is the best part. The ride will be a little adventurous and he will take you through the desert and it's like a roller coaster experience. After your safari he will get us to some tents where they have some activities like Belly Dance, Fire Show.and finally dinner will be served and then it ends. For 2 of us we spent almost 400 D for all of these activities like Pick up and drop, racing, photography and a camel race. It's very expressive and they will loot money in many places we need to be careful.

Not so great experience with food, service and stay. Food quality is worst! Only thing worth was the desert safari ride.

Place and activities are ok. Food is basic. Affordable. Bathrooms could have been cleaner. No diaper changing station. Everything is priced to allow room to bargain. Displayed three acts of entertainment.

You will only enjoy the show all the free items they will close it except water for 2 hours and once it's opened the food is very below expectations and low quantity and quality is below 0 and there's no hygiene at all

It's just for a one time experience. Be geared up for toilet cleanliness issue. Don't have high hopes for taste or quality of food. You suffer to pay extra to get decent sitting arrangements.

A great desert safari ride and good shows performed by several performers. A perfect way to spend a weekend in Dubai

We used TripX as our agent and Said was our driver. Very polite and professional! The safari and the dune ride was exciting, scary and fun. However, I didn't like how the food/beverages were served. Everyone running to queue. The servers cannot serve you two plates even if you have kids. I could have gone on a wrong day, but be ready for that.

Ghen ghen. Awesome experience of riding the sand dunes and then watching belly dancers and fire dancers wow the crowd.the meals were good, catering to the different demographics of the attendees, everyone got something they could eat. I made a friend too!

A surprising discovery was they provide majorly vegetarian food.being a veggie myself I liked it.loved the show's too. Worth a visit

Long queues on everything (food, snacks, camel ride).
Organizers are not available on site, it was a miss completely.

The dessert itself was great but in the camp they were a bit persistant by trying to sell us things. But maybe this is typical for the region. At the end there was a BBQ which was not extraordinary but ok and a nice dance & fire show.

Well actually it's fun especially that ride on a car but it's supposed to be 10 minutes but they only give us 6 minutes.

We went in a group of 16 people including 4 kids and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the tour.
They take you over sand dunes which feels like going up and down several roller coasters. The tour includes snacks, water and soft drinks plus a scrumptious barbecue.
Definitely experience this tour and get an adrenaline rush like no other.

Dune Ride was enjoyable and exciting. Dance performance and food and special services for which we paid for were worst.

Everything was fine and good, but you will not be guided where to go & what to do, that was a bad thing about the service.though it was worthy.

It's a good experience overall. Best part is the ride on sand dunes. Food is below average. Don't go for the vip stands. It's just a scam to make money. The public areas are good enough.
