Etihad Arena

I attended Hamilton at Etihad Arena recently and while the show was amazing, the experience was overshadowed by the uncomfortable seats provided by Etihad Arena. Given this is Broadway caliber show, every person attending should have been give a comfortable seat. This was a huge fail and made the entire experience horrible.

Great venue and the Hamilton performance was absolutely superb. However, the staff must enforce their own rules. It was shocking how many people were allowed to enter late and then continuously used their mobile phones all throughout the performance. Despite complaints, many audience members kept disrupting the experience for others with their compulsive phone use. My advice: mandatory phone lockup upon entry.

The venue is quite good. Parking might be a challenge but there are options near to the restaurants in yas Bay if willing to walk a bit

We are at Paw Patrol right now.

There are twenty minutes before the show and we are sat in the arena but there’s no atmosphere at all.

You’d expect Paw Patrol songs or bits from the TV show shown and all we have is an advert constantly repeated for Abu Dhabi.

There’s a total lack of atmosphere. I feel sorry for the kids. It really is sterile.

Try harder Etihad Arena management!

The place itself is okay. They hold different events, and tonight they had the legendary Guns N' Roses concert and it was truly amazing!

We had a really bad experience in etihad arena when we went to Kevin hart show.
The staff is not well organized and well trained.
Perfumes was not even allowed inside and they were not responsible if someone took it.
The second bad experience we had that we were standing in the line to get drinks and they didn’t let us in cuz there is no sign of abaya and kandoora not allowed.some staff took us another place to finish the order fast and we were waiting for an hour so we can give them our order.
Never back to etihad arena.

Excellent venue for shows and concerts. Not happy with the online booking though - wanted to book Platinum, but the Platinum and Gold showed full so we booked silver. Upon arriving for the Blippi concert we saw many empty seats in the Platinum - perhaps no shows, or booking problem?

Blippi show was awesome, would like to see that again soon. Great performance!

Even though it's not easy to find your way around at first, there are many staff showing the way. Cleanliness of the venue is very good, parking is great but not easiest to find, the rows go high so no person in front will not obscure your view, seating comfortable, snacks available, toilet facilities good, all in all a great venue.
I wish there was a shopping area with current show merchandise somewhere where it is easily visible and accessible.

Not bad! Entrance is all the round the opposite side of the building when walking from the budget hotels.

Venue is managed badly, they don’t Evan allow you to bring water into the venue blatantly saying that you have to pay the outrageous prices. 5 euro for a small packet of chips and 3.50 for a bottle of water. Everything has to be for money in the modern day

When I first entered an organizer helped me to sit in the exact place where I suppose to sit. After a while, every 10 minutes an organiser came to ask me what is your seat number, they really ruined my night. My seat row was (d) 1, I asked the people beside me they were d 2 and d3, which means either all of us were sitting in the wrong seats or the organiser were keep bothering me without particular reason. Then, I asked the people who sat behind me they suppose to be (e) but no, they were (k).

The whole organisaton were a mess, I never seen a messy concert like this before. They ruined the night and they made be to had a bad impression about Abu Dhabi too.

I hope the organisation of Etihad Arena could review this and make a change to better.

Went for iifa and loved the ambience. Crowd well maintained, well ventilated and a/c condition very good. The hall was cool even in 25000 people

My nephew is a person of determination using a wheelchair. You need to ring them to buy tickets which i did and i told them that i need to sit with our next to him. Our tickets incorrectly issued and then were told that we have no seats when we got to the event. They said we had to sit separately and my nephew is unable to go to toilet or get snacks or push himself on the wheelchair. Had to wait 50 minutes for them to find us a random place to sit. While all if this was being escalated we were also told that the ticket price is cheaper for wheelchair users and we were charged the full price. No talk of reimbursement despite me raising it. Hopeless and extremely bad management all around. Do not recommend going here for any events. If you really want to go.get everything in writing as they turn back on their own confirmation. BAD!

Impressive structure, but the seating is poor, the parking is a struggle.
Would think twice before attending any event in that venue.

IIFA 2022- came to watch the IIFA concert, place is amazing and well equipped and had done many events in the past. Has enough parking out side and all food & beverages at the decent prices comparing to Dubai concerts

The maroon 5 concert was amazing. Well organized. Easy access and logistics was great. Bit crowded and vehicular chaos and the end of the event

That was my first visit to an international arena and it was mind blowing.
Well organised, friendly and helpful staffs and the exceptional amenities are the key highlights.
IFFA chose made the best choice to host the show here.

Fina world swimming championships (25M)
Abu Dhabi (UAE) is ready to welcome the best swimmers in the globe for a six-day show between December 16 - 21 for the 15th edition of the FINA World Swimming Championships. The competition will take place in the iconic Etihad Arena. Further, an Aquatics Festival will now take place in parallel which will feature three additional FINA disciplines (diving, high diving and open water).

The place is still new but it’s we organized and nice.i’m sure alot if events will be happening in it soon

We had an amazing evening with Live Arijit singh
We could enjoy our drinks and finger bites while enjoying the music…
The sound, staff and overal great evening.
A must visit place during concert

Most happening place in Abu Dhabi for concerts or fights this place is right and just nearby is the newly opened Yas Bay

Fantastic arena but absolutely awful service.
The actual events I have seen were fantastic. Parking is OK. The food and beverage service is atrocious. The worst I have ever known. Expensive, unbelievably slow (served after the event ends) and stone cold. Worse the staff just don't care and make you feel silly for asking. The security staff are quite unhelpful and uncommunicative. They are pretty firm on masks but only outside the exec areas.

Etihad arena is a gigantic indoor arena with a seating capacity claimed to around 18000 people to host magnanimous live events and concerts.

I happened to visit this place to attend the Arijit Singh live in concert. It was a magical and mesmerizing experience. It has three levels of seating  layout, superb lighting arrangement and well trained staff to guide you straight from the car parking to your seat. There is a huge car parking area around the arena.

There are snack bars offering food and cold drinks though with very limited choice. You are not allowed to carry any outside food inside the arena. Covid precautions were in place in terms of temperature, Al Hosn green pass, vaccination, etc.but the safe distance rule in the seating arrangement was not followed.

Etihad arena is a larger than life experience you should witness.

Beautiful Arena. I watched Michael McIntyre there. Just be careful, once you are inside the arena you are not allowed to go out and come back for any reason

A great centre where people from different parts of the world meet to explore as they ward-off stress.

Always check there events. Watched the symphony show the other day, ut was fabulous. Ticket was 75 aed!

Great place to spend the evenings with family or friends. Entertainment activities and the fire works on special days doubles cheer

Great venue for musical concerts and stage acts. They had incredible audio and visual set up! The seating is good and wide spread.

However, their staff wasn't helpful in seating the audiences. And worst is the security wasn't doing their job in keeping law and order.

We bought expensive tickets (diamond) for a concert, and only to find out that people from a lower class (gold) were jumping over fences and in front of the security to come over for better seats/views of the show.

Theft in broad daylight. Diamond tickets were 200% more expensive than gold class.

Moreover, there were people smoking in the venue (inside the arena) during the concert and the security didn't say a word nor stop them. Pathetic!

Amazing venue, easy access and parking, friendly and helpful staff. Lots of bars and food outlets.

Ideal location for concerts, with temperature controlled ambiance, ample underground parking space

The arena is well located and managed and have 7k people occupancy.

The seating plan for right and left of the stage is not quite good to have the same view of performances.

The prices are little vary based on the floors and areas.

The Gold seating area and view is very good where seats are not as comfortable considering the price value.

The sound quality and overall arena is very nice and good

The ambience, parking space and the venue in itself is pretty good. Had a great time at the concert.
Please don’t order food here though. The food service here is pretty bad. It is very overpriced and the staff delivered our order to another seat and didn’t return the serving fee when we collected from the counter.
