We were here as couple for two days.
We enjoyed the gold club, it was amazing!
As vegetarians we said just one time and the we always got a special menu at the club lounge.also the service was perfect, special thanks to Rajan, Roni, Paolo and Mark.

I recently had the privilege of attending a company-hosted party at the Fairmont Bab Al Bahr in Abu Dhabi, and I must say, the experience was a mix of highs and lows. The hotel itself is undoubtedly impressive, and the conference area we used was spacious and well-equipped, comfortably accommodating all attendees.

However, the catering service left something to be desired. The snack selection was quite limited, and the single juice option was disappointing, especially for an event of this caliber. On a brighter note, the dinner variety was commendable, featuring a good range of dishes that catered to different preferences. The taste of the dinner was excellent, with each dish well-prepared and flavorful. However, the desserts, while decent, were not particularly memorable.

Overall, the Fairmont Bab Al Bahr served as a grand venue for our event, but there is certainly room for improvement, particularly in the catering department. A wider selection of snacks, juices, and more creative desserts would have elevated the experience to the next level.

Stayed here for a 3 day staycation and had the best time even just inside the rooms–they’re extremely spacious, the bed is tall and comfy, and the sea/grand mosque view is stunning (photos attached). Especially enjoyed the chromecast feature on their tv. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful, our room attendant Mr. Alex was very nice and accommodating, gave us a room tour as it was our first time and even remembered our names throughout our stay. Mr. Zalimar from reception was also super welcoming, conversational, and kindly accommodated all our needs. Special thanks to Mr. Paolo as well for keeping our food items safe. Will definitely recommend especially if you’re looking to stay in and relax away from the hot weather, worth the price!

We had our engagement holidays at Fairmont bab al Bahr. We could not imagine a better place to celebrate. We highly recommend this Hotel!

Especially the chef cook Chandrakant Joshi and the waitress Archana from the CuiScene restaurant are doing a wonderful job. They are really forthcoming. Joshi’s chicken tikka and the lamb byriani were perfect. We‘ve never eaten a chicken tikka or byriani as good as this before.

The pool area is also very clean and beautiful. Benjamin and Midhun from the pool area are very professional and attentive. They know your wished before you have said them. They really made our holidays.

We will come back for sure!

We loved everything about the hotel, the location and kindness of the staff the cleanliness and the spacious rooms. Definitely it is a must visiting place and for sure we are going to come back soon.

Fairmont Bab Al Bahr is nice place to stay. The room and its view is impressive. The staff are welcoming and helpful. The services rendered are satisfactory. During our stay, some staff from different departments stand-out among others for the good job performance. These are Mr. Zalimar and Ms. Lily from the Reception, Mr. Emmanuel and Ms. Elmira from Concierge, Mr. Patricio and Mr. Jaime from the Valet, Mr. Parveen and Mr. Bayani from the Housekeeping, Ms. Charlene from the Poolside Reception, Mr. Jun who was stationed in front of the Elevator, and Mr. Sabri from the Security. Collective efforts of the staff made our stay very comfortable.

Special thanks to Mr. Zalimar who assisted us to retrieve our important documents left in the room vault after our check-out.

لكن إدارته هزيلة وضائعة تسكن تحاول التواصل مع خدمات الفندق ماتقدر لازم تشوف واحد من العمالة بالممر يكلم لجهازهم اللاسلكي وممكن يستجيبوا لك او لا يروم أنفسهم بأنهم أهل الفضل وأن لو الفيرمونت ماهو موجود ممكن تكون نايم بالشارع من الآخر لايستحق نجمة بهذه الادارة.

Room was apparently upgraded which meant we had a nice view of the beach and it was a good size but a bit tired (eg grouting in bathroom was broken) No coffee machine. Paper cups. No tooth mugs, no bathrobes. Very slow hot water in ams, no hot water in main shower in pms. Towels thin.
Housekeeping, ok but timing dreadful. 18.40 one day. (As we were coming in from a whole day trip out) Another day not done by 1600 so we complained Inconsistent supplies eg no tooth mugs, Eng breakfast tea not resupplied, no stirrers etc. 2 bottles water first day. More others.
Reception, front door and concierge excellent until we were checking out when they failed to send someone to collect bags as requested and could not be raised on the phone.
Pool- whole environment tired. Sun beds dirty. Towels faded. Staff willing but confused. Once offered cold water but not repeated. Beach very nice. Lovely view of Sheikh Zayed mosque across the Channel.
Restaurants - Breakfasts excellent. Service, quality, variety. 100%. Arabic restaurant fine. Huge portions.
Marcos. A mess. Very slow. Inconsistent. Try to be helpful but continuously mess up reservations etc. Insufficient outside seating.
Bar - ok. Happy hour a bonus.
Weather during our stay made the outside facilities particularly welcome. In fact we were only inside to sleep.
Staff seemed very willing and keen to help but they were not well trained, supervised or organised. Spoken English was not always that good making them hard to understand and they did not always understand us.
Overall a lovely location, extensive facilities but apart from main lobby area not 5 star quality so disappointing. Do hope Fairmont is not putting all its resources into its shiny new hotel on the Corniche and neglecting this nice family resort hotel.

Had a great stay at the Fairmont, was there for a number of weeks and was always made to feel welcome and comfortable. A big shout out to Michael the Concierge who gave the best reccomendations and organised a lot of the trips. However the real hero was Sarian the cleaner. I had several cleaners during my stay and I could always tell when she had cleaned my room as she always went above and beyond not just what I would expect, but what I'm sure she was required to do as well. Her smile and greetings always made my day and she always seemed to be working incredibly hard.

My only downside of the stay was that the WiFi often has issues, dropping out or being slow several times, but other than that a great stay!

My experience at the Fairmont Bab El Bahr was just unforgettable!
The location, the view, the decoration, the cleanliness and the gifts that I found in my room are just magnificent. My room overlooked the bay, the swimming pool and we could admire day and night the lights of the city and the mosque of Sheikh Zayd.
But most important to me was the service and friendliness of the staff, they were attentive and flexible. We organized an event within the hotel and the organization and service was faultless.
A special and warm thanks to Cyril, Rhea, Omar, Melvin, Sam and all the other members whom I did not mention their names and who recognize themselves.
I had the honor of meeting Mr. Elias Chakhtoura, GENERAL MANAGER of the Fairmont, who inspires confidence, professionalism, and reflects all angles of the Fairmont hospitality spirit.
Looking forward to come back to your hotel, I will definitely recommend this magnificent property.

Unfortunately I cannot rate this facility properly as I am part of a group that are in a virus bubble for a sport tournament. However with what is at my disposal, namely the room, in room dining and the breakfast I wish I had access to more. Well worth a visit.
As mentioned before I was in the unfortunate situation if being in a bio bubble and would really like to mention a few names that went out of their way for us. They also had to stay at the hotel in the bubble. Thanks so much for your extra effort. Sanjeev, Manish, Saghun, Julien, Sherazi and Prush. Your efforts and friendly service was a godsend.

A amazing and beautiful hotel to stay at, it has it's own private beach and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food at a choice of restaurants is also very good and I highly recommend The Fairmont to anyone for thier next stay in Abu Dhabi.

Was under self quarantine to resume work, the room was spacious, the meals were timely and prepared very well, the city view I was given was good. The staff were friendly and prompt to assist with any queries.

I stayed here for 3 weeks
During Ramadan
DAY STAFF ARE AMAZING

Although I had paid in advance for 3 weeks, I had a second room at Ritz Carlton for the night times.

Thank god for Christopher the bell man, and Mohammed the security from (Mozambique)
Thank god for the engineer Mohanad from Bangladesh
Thank god for the Nepali Dining staff
Thank god for the MazajRestaurant staff especially the young Morrocan guy

However:
Night staff come directly from the devil

The Night (mare) Staff:

Mohammed Omar:
Sadistically cruel, will sit and listen to any of your issues but in the end will do his best to prolong your suffering.
I had paid in advance for 3 weeks
I had told Mohammed Omar that my cards had an issue
He would not post a can of Pepsi to the room
He could have easily cancelled one night and put it as credit

Mohammed Latif:
He will welcome you to the hotel, make you arrive in a taxi and then tell you to leave as you insulted his friends by making genuine formal complaints. He is such a coward that he will not even refund the waste of taxi fare coming.
He is also irrational offering a refund of hotel credit of which is the money I prepaid to stay.

Yesterday I asked him if my brother had entered the hotel, he was manning security at the VIP entrance.
His answer was “I don’t know”
How can I feel safe and secure in the hotel which such bodies in charge of my safety and well being?

Hunsnain (an angel) Ordered me Pepsi from room service.
The bell boy (amazing) poured my Pepsi into a glass outside the lobby.
Naveed approached me in front of guest (2 Arabic ladies)
And told me “drinking alcohol is not allowed”
How dare he.
Secondly in the glass is Pepsi
Thirdly there is no alcohol in my body
Fourthly out of kindness and not wanted to cause problems I asked him to apologise
He refused to apologise
And welcomed me to make a complaint

Siddque:
The Hindu head of security will tell you he will “call the police” for disrubing check in staff by giving them
A hotel voucher for Iftar during Ramadan
All because you formally complained about his friends

Kushpal:
Wanted to charge 55dhs for 5 oranges
I believe this price is extortionate, basic food should be affordable for all (people), especially in Ramadan - I do appreciate the added cost of service but this is beyond shameful
I did previously ask for 1 Apple 1 banana and 1 orange - which was complimentary - حمدالله.
Their justification for charge is due to the 3 single pieces of fruit previously given

We stayed in this hotel during Ramadan, booked their summer offer (food/bev credit of 600dhs inclusive) to surprise my family for the weekend. I was impressed by the professionalism of the staff from check-in to getting our luggage in the car upon check-out. Best views of the mosque from our room, couldn’t get enough of it. The buffet breakfast was awesome with jolly bunch of chefs from every stations, service was great too! Morning walk on the beach - highly recommended. Little kids enjoy chasing the fish, lots of them swimming freely. Nature and trees around make the place even more lovely.

I highly recommend dining in its new restaurant Mazaj, best manakish I’ve had in Abu Dhabi and the shish tawok, lamb chops & kebab - oh my god! I was bought forever.:)

We will definitely come back.

Not bad really if you compare it to a hotel in the UK or Europe, but falls a bit short when comparing to others in the UAE. Its the little things that they got missed like not finding guests a bed and getting towels as they would in the sofitel for example. Taking towels to clean and not replacing them so you have to call down for them. The most annoying part though was the fact they have sold out to the people trying to flog rides on their jet skies, not only is it annoying to people who just want to relax but when they do eventually con someone into having a go they go up and down a very small patch of water and its very, very loud so bring headphones as you'll need them. Ive been dubai many times but thought id give abu dhabi a go for a change, nice to say i have been but wont be going back at least not to this hotel.

١- الاقامة كانت سيئة لعدة اسباب اولها رخام الحمام سقط فجاة والحمدالله انني استطعت سحب قدمي من تحته.
ثانيا: باب الغرفة كان يصدر صوتا قويا ومزعجا عند فتحه وغلقه وفي كل مرة يفيق ابني الرضيع
ثالثا: المغاسل كانت مسدودة
والاهم من كل الذي سبق ردة فعل المسؤولة عند تبليغها كل هذه الملاحظات كانت بقمة اللامبالاه

Love staying here.

The rooms are always fantastic and spotless, not to mention the beach view is lovely.

The breakfast is great, as as the restaurants on site.

Gym is decent and the pools aren't bad.

Never had an issue staying here; staff are very caring. Highly recommend.

I had a dinner at the Cuiscene restaurant.
The highlight is the service. All the staff is trained and focused on delivering the best possible service to the customers.
Food selection is great with a mix of international and local dishes. From sushi to humus, Thai fish to shish taouk.
Sweets are nice and the ice cream is delicious.
If the weather allows it, I suggest to seat outside as the setting is quiet and luxurious.
Prices on high side.

We had the beach and brunch here. Excellent from start to finish - one of the best I’ve been to in Abu Dhabi.
