Grand Intercontinental Hotel

My room was huge and had 2 beds. Hot water was available during the day. The food was good.
Great location, close to corniche, malls, restaurants.
No swimming pool
No gym
No free parking, daily fees is 15 AED.
TV channels are limited, and the quality of video and audio are so poor.

It was one of the worst experiences if I consider the fact that I booked for ADIPEC in which the mediocre hotel raised its rates to 250€ the night (I had Hilton Daytona Beach, FL with less than that)
The furniture was very old and suffered damages that clearly reflect being used for a very long time. The first room they gave me was a disaster, it had mold on the sealing and was smelling terrible. I couldn’t stay even 10 minutes in it the rushed to the front desk to change. The second room was better comparing to the first but was not even near 3rd what I paid for it. It had damaged carpet, stained furniture, old cattle that had yellowish reflecting the many years it has been in service. There was one single socket in the room with nothing provided to accommodate multiple adapters. The breakfast was another big disappointment. For God’s sake they didn’t even have an espresso machine. Very limited choices and horrible taste, I had juice and tasteless croissants the first day then went on for having breakfast outside for the rest of my stay. This is by far the worst experience I had staying in many hotels 14 countries (including countries with poor service hotels). And when I remember the 250 a night that was paid I can’t even imagine how did they dare raise the price like that with this poor quality.

Room size was good spacious, there is no parking or a valet parking, they charged us for extra water, although room service provided us with extra three bottles for free

It's nice place to stay. Staff is very nice and cool. But need more hygienic in rooms

This hotel provide poor customer service, i spent one night, they either never did what i requsted them to do or do it wrongly, like sending my stuff to wrong room, the troli i requested never came, you can not even find room service phone number or any one other dep phone numbers displayed in their rooms like all other hotels in the world do.any way i managed to find the customer service number but they never reply.
The rooms are kind of old.
What made things worse i booked throw agoda and double charged me.

Very bad experience. Bad service special house keeping or even when you contact a manager to resolve your problems. Hotel very old. I hope that message go for the hotel owner to care about his place. Min if you cannot renew the place care about hospitality and services.

I enjoyed my stay! Spic and span room, excellent housekeeping, great staff and welcoming reception. Keep it up.

The staying there was pleasant, clean, comfortable and as expected to the prices range. No parking is an issue and few renovation is recommended!

It's somehow OK, not super clean (at least in my room), wanted to stay for one more day as we were not able to return back and we informed them and they agreed but later they said it is not possible and we had to find another hotel, thanks God some good guys in the management helped us.

The worst hotel in Abu Dhabi, very poor services, staff were making jokes In Philippine language while I was waiting for them to solve me a problem, very unprofessional, not clean rooms and very old TV
If you are on a vacation I would not recommend this hotel

Star is too much for this place
they count the tea bags you have, u can not order more than wahts in the room which is literally 2 bags of tea and two tiny bags of sugar
the rooms are too small for one person even, the staff unfriendly and there is only city view, no iron, tea pot was rusted

bed is too stiff, couldnt sleep.no business center, there is only outdated pc near the staff offices, too loud music in there

This hotel situated in main city where there is gym and park for workout. Room size is very big nd very supportive receptionist.
Note - Bring 3 pin charger.

Its lovely place, check in procedure took a little more time than expected but the staff are kind and welcoming at the reception. Its good thing that they have rooms for 3 adults with king size beds. The reservation was as booked and rooms are spacious. No parking for the hotel is one bad thing actually. So after 9.00pm you habe to park your car in a paid parking area. Anyhow its so good so far. Recommended.

Hotel at city center, room is normal. Service is good. Hotel down behind have KFC and near have mall this good.

Stayed here overnight, the place was a bit old, some of the gym equipments were not functioning but the staff are nice and accomodating, the breakfast is delicious as well.but overall, we had a comfortable time.

I know it's a budget place, but remove the gym if nothing is working. Put a paid valet, prevent light from entering thru curtains, etc.

Nice hotel and rooms are good as well but staff was very slow but the problem is there is not hotel parking and also there is no standard parking.all parking is residential parking so it's very difficult to find the parking there specially at the night time.if you ho out somewhere and come back there you can't the parking there.it's very difficult

Good Spacious rooms and felt value for money.
One issue I had is on parking as I got a penalty of AED200/- as Hotel did not have any parking area and no guidance were offered on arrival

Good deal for the price. But only thing upseted me was the air conditioner. It was not cold enough and it is high summer time. Had a very sweaty time.

Very helping and friendly staff. The best thing of this hotel is you can get all the facilities around you while staying there.

لا انصح بزيارة هذا الفندق بتاتا لعده اسباب:

* لا يوجد مواقف للسيارات ولا يوجد لدى الفندق فاليت باركنق.
* الخدمة بطيئه نوعا ما.
* وجود صراصير صغيرة في مقر الاقامة.
* ماء الاستحمام غير ساخن.
* الاستقبال لا يقومون بالرد عليك بشكل مباشر يجب الاتصال عليهم اكثر من خمسه مرات.

Bad hotel, might as well spend 10-20 dhs extra per night and book a better hotel. Uninterested receptionist, half the TV channels dont work, room service and housekeeping forget any request, bathtub broken, and the list goes on. I strongly recommend book elsewhere, you wont miss anything.

تعامل طاقم الاستقبال سيء جدا و بالخصوص البنت شرق آساويه. مع اني حاز اون لاين ورفضوا دخولي بشكل سيء إلا بعد الساعة الثانية بل رفضوا أن أرى الغرفه. المياه عائمة في الحمام و لم يتجاوبوا مع اتصالاتي المتكررة. زيارة لن تتكرر.

Good hospitality by the staff, lovely big room, they serve complimentary buffet breakfast that comes with room booking but lunch and dinner buffet are chargeable.

Got at a very good discounted price. The hotel is in the prime location of Abu Dhabi.

Looks great from outside. Interiors r traditonal.
Overall its a good hotel to stay for short duration trips.
