Al-Maskoof Al-Iraqi Restaurant

Glad I came across @ in AbuDhabi. The staff unanimously suggested & recommended to try Maqsoof Fish grill! And oh boy how so glad I did! The grill looks plain & simple.

No fancy display or presentation- in one look it’s just a normal fish grill with no dramatic colors or sauces - but oh my, as I started to dig in I literally devoured the it with absolute delight.

I kept wondering how can a fish looking so bland taste so good! Well it is the technique of cooking involved that oozes the unique flavors into the grilled fish!

We went for half a grill, one whole would have been too much for us. To go witj ot we ordered tomato rice & maqsoof rice. I loved the tomato rice more!

The salads & soups were served as appetizers! Classy arabesque set up & warm & friendly staff. Do check this restaurant out people!

الاسعار مناسبة لمطعم عراقي ولكن جودة الاكل لا تناسب مطعم عراقي.

It was worst experience the food was so expensive and the taste was not good.it is watage of money and time. No one like it.

We ordered a selection of dishes including fish, salads, chips, and pitta sandwiches. The food was great, along with the service. Unfortunately, the crowd that came me were fake and unsavoury, time revealed their true colours, this only has left a foul memory in my mind.

الاكل رووووعة والمكان حلو ودائما من اروح ابوظبي لازم اكل بس المرة الاخيرة السلطة الي فيها عنبة وماحد بيفهم شنو العنبة الا العراقيين كانت مالحة وااايد

Perfect place to eat! So delicious and full feeling because the food is great and the ambiance is so amazing! Try yourself and surely you will not regrets.

في أول أيام عيد الفطر لسنة ٢٠٢١ ذهبنا والعائله لتناوله طعام الغذاء في المطعم، وبعد طلب الصحون الرئيسه والمقبلات تبين لنا بان طلبنا كان كبير جدا لشخصين
فطلبت من النادل (شخص مصري) إلغاء احد المقبلات
فإذا به يرفض بحجة ان الطلب نزل على النظام! في الحقيقه لاافهم حاولت أن اوضح له ان الوقت الزمني بين الطلب والالغاء لم يتجاوز الخمس دقائق لكن
لاجدوى. للاسف بعمله هذا يكون
١- قد اجبرني على كتابة هذا الرد
٢- قد اجبرني على عدم ارتياد مطعم المسكوف في ابو ظبي مطلقا بعد هذه المره علما بانني احد الرواد الدائميين لهذا المطعم.

مكان جميل والمشويات عندهم مميزه ، كمان عندهم شاي علي الفحم وكنت اول مره اشرب شاي في حياتي اصلا بس عجبني جدا

Al Maskoof is truly an institution. It is revered for its famous wood cooked river fish “al maskoof” which is the most fatty and delicious type of fish there is. Iraqi cuisine at its best, the outdoor seating areas are to die for and the tea is only second to the amazing customer service. Overall a consistent excellent experience.

مطعم رائع ونظيف واكلات عراقية شهية كالتي هي في بغداد. الباجة والقوزي والدولة والكباب وجميع الأكلات وأما السمك المسكوف والشاي على الفحم موضوع كبييييييير. شكرا لإدارة المطعم، وبالتوفيق ان شاء الله.

مكان رائع جدا والخدمة فوق الممتازة والجلسة داخل وخارج المطعم رائعة.

I recommend to visit this place, nice foods, nice staff and the food price is not too expensive. Good price and good quality.

Very nice collection of pickles, delicious freshly baked bread.

Place is cozy and staff are welcoming. There are plenty of parking spots around.

The reason I gave 4 stars is the service. It’s poor and needs some improvement.

لمحبي اكلات السمك المميزة ولكل من يبحث عن شيء جديد يخلد في الذاكرة هذا المكان مناسب وجيد بالنسبة للعائلات ولكن الأسعار تكلف العائلة فوق ٣٠٠ درهم. يستحق لم يحب سياحة المطاعم والوجبات

تجربة سيئة و مستحيل تنعاد. السمك بارد و يابس و مافيه طعم و المشكل مشاوي أسوء منه بايت و فيه طعم غريب. الصراحة ما أنصح فيه هذا المطعم

مطعم على الطراز التراثي العراقي ممتاز و سعر مناسب في طريقة تقديم الاكل يحسب جميع الاكل من المقبلات و الطبق الرئيسي الى الحلا
و يعتبره طبق واحد و بسعر مناسب

If You love #sea_food then you have to go there and try Iraqi Masgoof fish.
It is around 4 Kg enough for 4 persons
Lentel soup plus Iraqi tea is complementary

Brilliant fish cooked to perfection in the traditional Baghdadi way called Maskoof. Tea was just perfect.

One of my favorite restaurants to go to when I am in Abu Dhabi. Traditional and delicious Iraqi food with quick service. It’s famous for the maskoof fish but I love their kabab as will.

المقبلات رائعة جدا وشوربة العدس كمان الطبيخ جيد. الشاورما اللحم لذيذة جدا. الأسعار مرتفعة جدا خصوصا المشاوي رغم إنه اللحم مو بلدي منظر السمك المسكوف جدا شهي بس لسه ما جربته.

من أسوأ مطاعم المسكوف
طعم السمك عادي جدا
طبعا الضيافة مجانية بعد ما تخلص الأكل ولكن لا يقدمونه إلا إذا طلبته بنفسك
السعر عالي بالنسبة لباقي المطاعم
النظافة عادية جدا
بالنسبة للمقبلات السلطة جيدة والباقي فقط منظر

I gave it two stars just because of the speed to get the food and the value for money! Poor service and not so good atmosphere have taken the remaining stars! The owner of the restaurant must really do something about the laziness of the staff and their lack of customer service skills!

I tried almost more than twenty times and in this restaurant addicted one thing, which is kebab is delicious and fresh and different from the rest of the restaurants note that the rest of the grills delicious and healthy but for my kebab and only

It is good to try but does not sound woow. Food quality is average but quantity is big. Also very tight place and they need to improve their services. One positive thing is normal salad & lenti soup are free

A bit pricy.but you get quality food and quality service and they give u sweets and tea for free at the end of each meal.its recommended

Authentic iraqi traditional food. Meat chicken vegetables or fruits anything in their best form. The complimentary soup is so flavourful and enjoyably warm. The flavours and taste entiely differ from arabic and labanese food. Its a different kinda experience. Quiet and warm ambiences overall and good service.

Great restaurant! The staff was very friendly, the food was delicious, and it was not expensive! We got a lot more than just what we ordered (drinks, soup, bread, tea, desert, fruit etc). The restaurant was popular with the local people, and we were the only tourists. I definitely recommend it and would visit it again!

Al-Maskoof Restaurant is one of Iraqi cuisine specialist Restaurant in Abu Dhabi.

They offer defernt range of food but unfortunately the price in this Restaurant is too high comparing to others Restaurants in the same area especially the prices of the main course.

I don't recommend it for any visitor or tourist visiting Abu Dhabi because there is no way to compare the very high prices with the quality plus quantity of food provided to the customer.

The level of employees and how they treat the customer in this restaurant is very bad.

This resturant serve many Iraqi food which is one of the best in the Abu Dhabi. I recomand the grill fish cause it cooked in the Iraqis way. Also, I recomand the Iraqi tea after finish eating the food.
