i ordered panner tikka from them.
highly disappointed and dissatisfied from their food.
the tikka pieces are so small and not worth 30aed at all.
and the taste of it was just not it.
the marination for the tikka was not cooked properly.

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Kamat, particularly with their sambar, coconut chutney, and vada. However, I believe they have room for improvement when it comes to their dosa. Enhancing the dosa's taste could make a significant difference. Although I am a devoted dosa lover and had high expectations for Kamat, I still rated my experience with them at 4 s. Despite this one aspect, my overall experience at Kamat was truly remarkable.

What should I write about u guys because ur awwwwwwsome ️Authentic Indian vegetarian food I never ever I had In UAE. I stay in Al ain If I visit Abu Dhabi so Kamat is must to visit for breakfast lunch dinner ️Thank u chef who is making wonderful food thank u service team

Compare to Kamath in Dubai this one is just 1/5 in all aspects except location. Staffs are not passionated, I ordered for Paneer tika biryani it was definitely missing taste. I had the best biryani in International city till now

Average restaurant with normal taste and expensive, situated at Al Wadha Mall. We were odered Panipuri, Dosa, puri masala Uttapam and noodles items. Big piece Potato covered whole masala. Schezwan noodles was good and not good the Hakka noodles. Good thing that i didn’t noticed any where and got it from this restaurant after food - the wipes pack and kind of Mukhwas pack. Washroom not available inside restaurant and need to use the mall washroom.

Thank you for serving Complimentary Iftaar fruit plate to all those fasting, highly recommend their buttered idli with sweet yogurt for toddlers, and their lip smacking sev puri and batata vada in snacks and their delicious Andhra masala dosa. Simply loved their hospitality, staff are super attentive and helpful:)

Pav Bhaji was okay however Chilly Garlic Noodles were too spicy as they used a lot of chilly flakes in preparation

Food is good, service is also ok. But they should improvise in ambience and food menus. Specifically starters.

We visited Kamat expecting good quality vegetarian food. However, this time we were really disappointed with the quality of the food. We ordered veg thali but the quality of food items, like daal, aloo sabzi was very sub standard which is not expected from such a renowned food chain like this.

Vada & bhelpuri was our order. Vada was heated or something. Wasn't fresh coz i know places when they say vegetarian they make the vada live.

Bhelpuri was okay but not amazing be because the sause was not on point.

The place is okay. But the staff ruin everything. The contemporary style, modern look and everything is perfect. But staff behavior is very bad, unprofessional & not approachable at all. Simply they don't smile, many restaurants they serve average food but with good staff performance we feel good. But here that's not the case. Staff is very poor behavior and not welcoming at all. You wont get a slight smile or welcome feel from anybody.

I haven't tried anything else so I'm not going to comment on any other foods.

JUST CONSULT ON A GOOD HOTEL MANAGEMENT TEAM FOR STAFF BEHAVIOR i would say.

Visited Kamat @ Al Wahda mall. Tasty food, reasonably priced, super cool ambience, hygienic set up, professional staff. Over all a delightful experience. Indian Chat items. Highly Recommended

We visited for the second time now. The first time we only had chaai and vada and we were not happy with the taste.
But the second time the food was really good and tasty and the price is not very high and the quality and quantity of the food was also really appreciable. Even the service was good. Seats are very few compared to the crowd they have. If you are a vegetarian ir if you like vegetarian food then this is a recommended place to try it out!

Though the restaurant is small, the taste is too delicious. Able to get all kinds of dishes in vegetarian.

The experience was good. Food was nice. Service was slow probably because the restaurant was full.

I don’t usually give reviews easily. But for this restaurant I sincerely wanted to. We had manchow soup, mysore masala dosa, chana bhatura and fig ice cream. Honestly, everything was so amazing! Very authentic flavours and one the best indian food we have ever tried. Nagaraj and Pankaj were amazing! Great staff! We went with their recommendations and seriously it was amazing! Perfect food! Amazing customer service! Totally worth it!

Service is good. Paneer sandwiches are really very tasty. The paani puri pooris are very big which actually doesn't let one enjoy the dish. Adrak chai (ginger tea) definitely needs some improvement.

Food is really good n fast service, being a vegetarian we have always suffered searching good food…kamat is the destination we were looking for

Ordered food through Zomato and received white chutney directly from fridge. I believe people order food to eat fresh food and not to consume something taken directly from fridge. I don’t have option to put a zero or minus here. Unacceptable behavior.

One tye best Indian Vegetarian restaurants in Abu Dhabi. Fantastic menu. And best part is beautiful bowl of ice cream to finish off. Full selection available. Warning single scoops are big serving portion. Love it.

Mango Shorbet - i have ordered the mango shorbet icecream it was very worst taste either it was not fresh or sometjing else but definitely it spoiled taste of my mouth

Very tasty food with good portions, unlike most Indian Restaurants, Decent place, nice staff, good prices, wast menu, quick service.

Dosa was very bad. People where in rush to serve and go. We got soup with dosa. When asked got it oven heated which tasted disaster. Sweets where good probably becoz its ready made. Any way not recomendable for families. As space is not so conviniient too and nothing special very much dissapointed after paying a 5 star billa for a roadside experience.

Ambiance was nice, food quality amazing. Working staff really no words how polite they are, overall 100% keep up kamat Will surely recommend to our friends

We tried Besi Bele Bhaat, Rava Dosa, Matka Kulfi, Phirni, Sithaphal Ice Cream in Kamat.

Bisi Bele Bhaat was perfect. Rava Dosa was crispy and filling. Matka Kulfi, Phirni and Sithphal Ice Cream was awesome.

Filter Coffee was really refreshing.

Taste, Quality of food and Service was great. Restaurant has good ambience, but lacks Wash Basin for Hand wash. The Wash Room is far away from the restaurant.

Other than hand wash, Everything was perfect. Would love to visit again.

We went there in hope of finding stuff that their brand is known for.
We found.:
1. For the price.poor quantity and quality
2. Dosa doesn't taste like dosa
3.3 idlis at Kamat = 1 idli at Saravana Bhavan
4. Coconut chutney doesn't taste fresh
5. Basically.no bang for the buck!

Kamat in Al Wahda mall is an indian restaurant serving variety of Indian vegetarian delicacies from north, south including chinese.

They have variety starters, snacks, street food and north as well as south indian main course.

We ordered paani puri, wantons, crispy baby corn, chatpata paneer and Hongkong fried rice.

Hongkong fried rice had cashews and star anise which was quite a surprise.

The Mango chilli drink with coconut water did not give any taste of coconut. It tasted simply mango juice.

All other preparations were yummy and hot. Serving time was quite quick but may vary on the weekends.

The staff was very prompt in serving and clearing dishes from the table.

Quantities are good at a reasonable price.

Good place to visit with family where you can have varied choices according to one's taste.

It is a great place for vegetarians but a disappointment for meat lovers as they dont have meat on their menu.

Had Pav Bhaji today and it was one of the worst, it was water bhaji.
Complete waste of money.

Newly opened in Al Wahda mall, Kamat is a treat for vegetarians. I visited this place recently with a vegetarian friend and she was quite satisfied with the food. Here's what we tried

Masala Dosa: something that should never go wrong but did. The Dosa was quite off in taste. Couldn't point out what exactly was wrong with it but I could definitely tell it wasn't well and lacked taste.

Pav bhaji: this was really good. The bhaji was very delicious. Pav was slightly sweet for me. But then it's a common problem here

Pani puri: Not quite up to the mark again. Again, Pani puri is something I wouldn't recommend at Kamat. There's more to Pani puri than simply mashed potatoes and the two chutneys.

Idly wada: this was the best dish amongst everything we tried. Sambar tastes amazing.
Filter coffee: pretty good. Nothing really to compliment or complain. But it definitely doesn't stand a chance in front of the filter coffee served at Sarvana Bhavan

Being a loyal Sarvana Bhavan customer for over two years, I couldn't help but compare. For idly, Dosa and the likes, Sarvana Bhavan is a much better option. However, if you're looking at more options in vegetarian cuisine, you might find a better variety at Kamat. Or let's say that's how I look at it.

Not at all impressed on the first visit. Maybe because I am so used to their chain in India. Limited space and the worst of it, no Washrooms or Toilets - how awkward can it be to ask the clients to go and use the "Mall Washroom"? We ordered some basic south-indian evening snack items and were kept waiting for about 30 min, had to literally call and shout at the gentleman who pretended to know what was going on there. Very bad experience for a first-time guest. To me it looks like the outlet was started just for the sake of it - with Dirhams in mind and Service way below on the list.

There is no option to give 0 star otherwise I would have given that, I have tried one Ghee roast today it was almost looks like paper we are eating with cold chutney. Only good thing is they are providing the colorful receipt that you cannot find anywherethe designer he deserves appreciation.
