Wonderful Japanese restaurant! We are keen to return to eat our way through the whole menu!

Being able to see the chefs prepare the food is amazing. We particularly loved the takoyaki, the scorched salmon and the miso black cod. Finishing up excellent mochi!

The most authentic Japanese restaurant in Abu Dhabi. The sushi is exquisite, it is of very high quality, extremely fresh, and beautifully presented. Also, the staff are very nice and welcoming.

What a great surprise! Got it as a tip on a facebook group and food was delicious and fresh. All we ordered was so tasty. Kani salad and maki rolls were delicious. Tempuras were so fresh.yummy. Staff was so polite. I highly recommend this place.

Sushi lovers, rejoice! Sushi Night at Kinsu is a dream come true. The freshest and most delicious sushi rolls kept coming, and I couldn't get enough. The variety was fantastic, I especially loved their Salmon Nigiri and it pairs well with their Iced Green Tea. Friendly staff and a delightful atmosphere made the experience even better.

I'll be back for more!

My wife and I had a great dining experience. The place was tidy and serene. The crew were proactive and accomodating, especially the kabayan server Ronavie. The food was on the spot and tastes really good.

My family and I had an amazing time at Kinsu. We went for the Tuesday all you can eat sushi deal, and there was so much we couldn't finish it all.
The staff was very efficient and kind.

One of the best Omakase experiences I’ve ever had. Nothing to even nitpick, it was simply that incredible.

This is a first time to come to Kinsu.
The staffs were perfect and the food was excellent. Especially the salmon nigiri and tuna nigiri were exceptional.

What a treat on senses and taste! The Kimchi itself was so refreshing and not to mention everything was just so good. A true Hidden gem.

The kids loved the salmon maki and easy dinosaur chopsticks. The adults enjoyed their food too, great Jasmine tea! Will be back.

A great experience, very authentic place. Highly recommended for Japanese food. I loved their KINSU GRILLED BEEF, California roll and rainbow roll.

Very nice small restaurant. We have tried the unlimited sushi they are offering. The starters a very delicious. Sushi plate I personally liked only nigiri and another type of sushi that I don't know the name since noone told what is on the plate. (anyway, happens, fine)

We ordered alacarte as well, mushroom salad with truffle oil and yuzu sauce was good, but smt is missing. And torched salmon with fried shrimp on top was just AMAZING!

Loved lunch here! Great deal on the sushi and lots of options for vegetarians, which I appreciated. Absolutely delicious.

When an asian chef of a renowned luxury hotel brand decides to open his own restaurant it cannot go bad (the story given by a very friendly waitress). We tried this place twice for its sushi menu and both times it had exceeded our expectations. The sushi plates are delicious, with a big variety to the palate, and affordable too. Chef should be proud of his plates and the place is the main choice to go for sushi.
It would be recommended though, to improve the desert menu with more asian/japanese items to intrigue the customer, as choices are limited.

overall it is a very nice restaurant but i expected the price to be lower

-Everything we’ve had was perfect, and we’ve had plenty. All of our order didn’t exceed 250!
-They have a lot of offers (included in photos), and sushi night where you can have unlimited set of food for just 99 AED
-the ambiance is great. Music is chill
-the kitchen is separate with glass where the smell of cooking doesn’t reach the tables, but you can still see them cooking
-they have unlimited sushi every Tuesday 6Pm-10Pm!
-the toilet was clean and nice
-parkings are tricky but worth it
-service was perfect. The waitress was accommodating and answered all our questions, the management check on us to make sure we were happy

The best Japanese sushi restaurant. Great service. Excellent staff. I highly recommend going to it.

We ordered online the gyozas and a couple of sushi rolls + Makis. They were realy quick and the food was very delicious. Also the staff was very supportive. Offert Makis even they were not on the menu and kept us updated about the delivery status and followed up afterwards.
After having had several disappointing experiences with other places, this one is our new favorite in Abu Dhabi. Definitely a recommendation!

If you would like good Japanese food, this is the best place you can pick. So much more than just sushi, we were amazed by the freshness, variety, and deliciousness of the food here. A real gem hidden in the Khalidya area.

The best Japanese restaurant in Abu Dhabi! The quality of all the dishes is amazing. I could't choose which one was my favourite. Aui was very friendly and attentive to details.

KINSU Japanese Restaurant - Khalidiya

I have contemplated whether to be selfish and keep this review to myself but came to the conclusion this food needs to be shared and enjoyed by many more people.

After being recommended the place by a good friend Cecile Cedo-Sales we decided to explore this small and quaint restaurant in the maze of streets that is Khalidiya.

We arrived at 8pm on a Thursday evening and for the most of it were the only diners. Loved this experience as it felt as if we were having a private dining experience.

The windows to the kitchen allow you to watch your food being made with such precision and a whole lot of love.

Now about the food.the food was out of this world. We ordered a lot, NOT SORRY.
Dumplings, dynamite shrimp, sushi roll, chicken curry and the 'star of the show' Seabass! All cooked to perfection and full of flavour. Crunchy, soft, spicy and tangy, all the right amounts too. Their homemade kimchi was such a kick of flavour and I am normally not the biggest fan of kimchi. I try to be.

The service was impeccable and we had a great time talking to the waitress who was so knowledgeable of the food being served. We learnt the chef used to work at Buddha Bar Saadiyat so immediately knew the food would be divine. Prices were very reasonable for the quality of food that arrives at your table.

FYI - 99aed all you can eat sushi on Tuesdays 6-10pm. We cannot wait to go again. Would friday evening be too soon

Hands down one of the best meals we have had in Abu Dhabi. Seabass was amazing, calamari, sashimi, steak and the deserts. I have a fussy child and they catered to him and he loved it. Definitely be going back.

So happy, that I found an authentic Japanese restaurant in the heart of Abu Dhabi, I enjoyed every single dish that they served to me from appetizer to main course.dude it was fantastic. They served premium sushi that you can feel it was prepared through the heart of a chef, finest and delicious soup, uggh…and add up their house-blend tea. Their service was exceptional, very attentive and joyful staff that you will feel at home. Thank you kinsu will definitely recommend it to my colleagues and will visit you again soon. Good job.
