It makes me remember my stay in Singapore! Feels like Southeast Asia in here! Love their dishes!

I often to come here. They served nasi kandar & nasi lemak for heavy meal in the morning. The roti boom was surprisingly really good for sweet tooth. Love the waiters they very nice and can speak malay. If you want to another heavy meal, like nasi goreng, mee goreng you need to wait until 1 PM.

One of my best choices for Asian food if not the best! If you like Malaysian food, this place is a must visit.

I love their chicken curry, the veg dish (cabbage) and dhal and fried chicken. If you go in the morning try their omelette. Obsoletely love everything they have.

I wish I can eat there 2 or 3 times a week. The only problem is location. It’s in an Adnoc station in Yas island and not easy to get to. If you are driving there from Abu Dhabi you can get off the freeway but to return to Abu Dhabi you have to drive a few miles towards Dubai and then turn around to get in the opposite side in the freeway.

Wish they open a branch in Abu Dhabi.

I’ve been here many times over the past years.
This is a small restaurant serving Malaysian food inside the ADNOC gas station on the Yas highway in the direction of Dubai.
The prices are very affordable.

My favorite items are:
- Wheat Paratha with Sambal and Curry
- Nasi Lemak

I love this place and can recommend it to everyone!

From Singapore so I know what good Malay food should taste like! It was great, authentic and affordable. The prata, banana prata and tissue prata were delicious. Will come again!

MasyaAllah, original taste of malaysian food. I really love their nasi lemak. Almost same with nasi lemak we ate at petaling street. Nice and friendly staff. Will back again insyaAllah.

What an incredible place. Food is super delicious. I have absolutely no idea what Malaysian food & how it taste. The guys working here are smart, they knew that & suggested some items, even prepare it for me. All food is prepared freshly here. Will definitely come again and again.

Typical Malaysian got so excited when saw Mamak sign… we only managed to grab teh o ais limau and milo tabur only. My happy pills

Nice malaysia-mamak food
Only if i can get rojak and other food as Mamak Dubai, it will be awesome
They usually take rojak from Dubai on Monday, so dont expect it will be there on weekend ya folks

Best malaysian restaurant in abu dhabi.very recommended to come early, otherwise all of the food has been sold out.

Yes, if anyone looking for the worst fooding experience, pls visit this restaurant. They would convince you to buy whatever you like and they will make sure you hate that dish forever. A tasteless food which is not even close to being worth the time or money.

Fine Asian food bordering on the far Eastern cuisine, pocket friendly and refreshingly different

Love the food. Had to drop by and have takeaway food from them back to hotel. It's just a happy moment to get and eat food from there. Try it!

Nice place for Malaysian mamak. The fellas here used to work in a mamak back on KL, so the taste of the food here is true that you get back home.

Came here on weekend at 11 am and the nasi lemak is sold out:)! But dont worry, nasi kambing (mutton rice) is the best!
14 February 2021 21:55
The Nasi Goreng and Mee Goreng are great.please put Nasi Lemak as a normal dish on the menu, not just only for breakfast!

It's a true hidden gem of Abu Dhabi serving excellent Malaysian food.

A mark of good food is when the Malaysian community comes all the way from Abu Dhabi to eat here.

We love their breakfast items

It was really good and a really good experience.
I suggest you guys to go for it with family or with a group of people!
I give it 10/10

The only place where you can find MURTABAK and Roti telur banjir (egg porata flooded with gravy) in Abu Dhabi
11 July 2020 15:16
Food is reasonably good. It's just that the staff there are not compliant with face mask use, even after they were informed. Won't be going back there anytime soon.

Tucked into the ADNOC between Saadiyat and Yas Island, they serve some, if not, the best Malaysian food in Abu Dhabi - including kaya poratta! Good flavorful curries, interesting menu, well worth the drive.

Who would have thought that thousands of kilometres away from Malaysia we would still be able to have our fix of Mamak (Malaysian Indian Muslim) cuisine! The place to go for anyone craving Nasi Lemak with an excellent sambal (chili sauce with shrimp paste) and all things Mamak

Some parts of this dining area are super efficient. But some portray a lower slow approach in customer service and are slow to serve.it varies but on the whole it is worth the wait.

Friend found a worm in a seafood dish. Never going back. I might understand if all ingredients are imported from Malaysia which would account for drinks cost but the drinks still don't seem worth it for the location and staff. The sambal with roti canai varies in taste from spicy to sweet to spicy to sweet. Maybe different suppliers for the same product giving inconsistent taste. Menu has not changed much and flies are still prevalent even though there is an electric fly killer.

Well, if you know mamak already then it will be the same thing. Typical indian-malay cuisine originated from malaysia. Many kind of paratha or roti such as sardine paratha, onion paratha, boom paratha, plain paratha and many more. Guess what there is more, such as fried rice, fried noodle, fish head curry, and many kind of curry. Beverages such nescafe, chai (tea) or ginger tea is also served. Nasi lemak or coconut milky rice also served here. You might love the authentic taste, come and enjoy!

Tasty food. Indo-Malaysian is yummy. Good location for a takeaway on the way home or quick dine in.

If you're looking for an Abu Dhabi priced version of the classic Malaysian Mamak 'diner' experience, this is it. All the standard Malaysian comfort foods are here, from the bread, to the noodles, to the rice and sauces. Weekend mornings are busy, with most of the variety Malaysian food lovers coming for the classic staple, nasi lemak. Go early, however, as they often sell out of stock by 9AM or so. The staff are friendly and helpful, identifying regulars by their normal orders, but bring cash only. The atmosphere is limited as its inside an ADNOC station, but for what it is, it's fine. If you have little ones, be aware that there are baby chairs, but only 2, and demand can be high on weekend mornings.

Malaysian mamak:) the taste is okay and is nearly Malaysian. Roti canai is good. However very expensive @@ can't say the food is worth the price.
07 June 2019 15:36
I came here for Nasi Lemak. It comes with a variety of accompaniments such as hard-boiled egg, anchovies, Ayam Goreng Berempah, and Sambal (chili-based sauce). I also ordered lamb curry, but it tasted average. For the drink, I chose Teh Tarik. Staff were nice. You'll get everything what you wish for a typical Malaysian culinary.

A very different taste, muxture of quick food (ready made) and freshly cooked. Their rates are too high for the menu, i just dont get why they are charging so high prices. I have not tried much of the food, but here are my goods and bads:

Goods
Mi goreng, absolute awesomeness just too good. Apart from the price, only vegetables option is AED 23.

Medium
Maggi goreng, just good enough for a ciuple of of times but not a regular

Karak tea, again if you are craving for karak tea only then have it not the best one.

Bad
Fried chicken, extremely NOT tasty and the price is AED 8 for one small piece.

Possibly the best Malaysian food in Abu Dhabi, and like many excellent sources of nourishment in the UAE, you'll find it along the road. The Yas Island ADNOC station doesn't share the street cred of a biryani shop accessible only through a cutout in the guardrail along the E-11 between Abu Dhabi and Dubai, but the food here is proper good. The Nasi Goreng Kampung is a solid choice, and if you're at all a fan of partatha, the Roti Canai will hit the spot. Karak should be tried in all its forms, and the Malaysian iced Teh Tarik will provide a tasty new data point. Worth the drive.
