Is it okay that if you did a swab for a bacterial or fungal infection which requires urgent treatment and the doctor has a leave for the coming 10 days you don’t get the results or a treatment unless the doctor comes back! Is this logic in the world of medicine! There should be a policy to follow up such with cases

As always, i have to wait for more than 30 mins just to get a prescription. I arrived 30 mins earlier prior to my appointmwnt just for my prescription and i am currently waiting 30 mins now. I am now staying in this hospital for an hour!

Edit: I have no complaints to the doctors and staff. They are all good and professional. Its just the system. Change it and dont make patients wait for more than 10 minutes and i will change my review.

The services of this hospital are developing negatively from bad to worse, starting with poor reception of emergency cases, misdiagnosis of the medical condition, lack of organization between the departments responsible for emergency services, and lack of respect for the patient and respect for his rights as a patient. Can you imagine the Energency department asking the patient while he is bleeding to bring the medicine from the pharmacy and after that, the patient must pay the visit fee before receiving the treatment even after keeping his ID is not enough for them to secure the visit fees Yes, this is what is happening now at Mediclinic Hospital - Khalifa Street - Abu Dhabi. What a huge difference in the high level of services that were provided by the hospital when it was under the name of Al Noor Hospital. (Full and integrated services) and the services now provided under the management of Mediclinic are the same as the difference between the earth and the sky

Terrible.they said they only take 25 patients with the White Daman and if you don’t have it too bad you can die I guess.incredibly unprofessional and terrible service they care about their pockets more than people’s well-being.

Very pathetic experience. Went for my child. Pediatric dept receptionist said this insurance is not acceptable. I said this is a premium insurance it works on all hospital pls check again. But without checking they said daily 3-4 people with this insurance is coming and we are saying this only. I was standing there for 20 mins and some other receptionist came and checked. She said it is working.

Doctor was good. Satisfied with him. He prescribed some tests for my daughter which needs pre approval from insurance. They told they will get a pre approval and call back in 1-2 days. But it has been 10 days they never called back. Very Worst experience

I had an OUTSTANDING experience with Mediclinic, they always provide me the care that I need and I am always impressed by their level of nurture and professionalism.

Better treatment and better doctors, nice facility and supporting staff, that is all you needed when you visit hospital and this is the one of the best hospital:)

Extremely bad attitude of couter personal (Male) of peadiatric opthalmology. Reached just 10 min of delay from scheduled appointment and thw counter didn't accept. Although nurse was accepting appointment.

Last two years I’m visiting Mediclinic doctors in different departments, sorry to say that my experience is worse I am very disappointed no relief.

I like your Doctors and Nurses.but your telemedicine app / program is not working. Waited 1 hour and nothing. Later on i found out that had been calling my wife's number.but since im logged in half an hour early, and waited another hour makes no sense. Fix your app before you advertise

A great Experience since Day 1! My wife gave birth to our first baby boy with Dra. Janeth.the service and Satisfaction are met. Also to all LDR staff and Midwives are too nice and positive! As well as the nursing department housekeeping staffs and the cleanliness of the facility.

Dear Management.
Good afternoon.
My wife and I, waited for more than an hour, having a confirmed appointment and my wife was infirmed to be the next patient by the receptionist on duty.
When the subjected Doctor came out of his room, he asked for another patient asking her by name and took her in for consultation.
I demanded to return my wife's nat id and decided NEVER to visit this doctor again and would even inform all my friends about his in ethical manner.

Shame on Mediclinic to even keep such an un-professional dictor with their team.
We demand an apology from the Doctor and no one else. If he decides not to apologize, I will take this matter up with the DOH.

Why you ask for appointments and you will let us wait for 1 hour. This not the 1st time it happened even you lifts are not working properly. If this is the case that u cannot handle patients close your facility or change your doctors if they are coming late or can’t follow the schedules

Im giving 5 for dr Richard Knebel, it was a great experience meeting him today, he is a great human mashAllah, i liked the fact that's he is really making great efforts to learn Arabic to be able to communicate with his patients, this shows how much important is communication for him.

He gave me all the time i needed, he explained to me my problem in details and how it happened and how inshAllah I will recover.

Usually when we go to doctors for one time we hardly remember their names or faces, but i bet you to forget dr Richard's.

The worst service ever, no respect to the clients, being told to wait one hour for PCR swab test and after 2 hours they advised to proceed to the neighbourhood laboratory!

Visited Dr Richard for severe back pain
As per his diagnosis i need physiotherapy but he failed to explain it well to the insurance and the request has been rejected twice.
Failure to explain my medical situation for 2 weeks failed me to get the needed physiotherapy for treatment after waiting for 2 weeks in pain!
In fact the hospital finally called me to advise to see another doctor since Dr Richard went on leave
Another thing is that the physiotherapy follow up is bad and they never call you to update you
I was chasing them by calling several times a day to get an answer
By the way ive seen other doctors in other majors and i keep facing issues
In summary, BAD hospital and i dont advise it at all!

Dr. Richard Knebel, a consultant orthopedic surgeon, is very keen and attentive to patient's needs. I am a nurse, and he assured that all my questions were answered, and explained the course of treatment. I went to other 4 orthopedic surgeons from other hospital (due to my recurrent back pain), and he is the most patient-centered.

Took my son to Dr. Kubra in the ophthalmology department at Mediclinic Khalifa street for an eye infection. She was absolutely amazing. She was so patient, knowledgeable, helpful and most importantly my son was happy. She is the best in town!

Lady Receptionist delays registration to meet General Doctor moreover, not following First come First serve process for patient. Evenmore some patient came after me and they went first to meet doctor. Lastly when i asked for my registartion or appointment she told me there are 5 patient before you.will you wait or not? Had some problems in my knee and went to few doctors in couple of hospitals until my manager advised me to check with dr Hans the orthopedic
And I felt the difference in diagnosis, taking care of patient, professionalism & sincere advices to my case and helped me to get much better without going for surgery

First time with Doctor Richard Knebel, Orthopedics. I like his way to explain and his very friendly. I wait long time to get his appointment. But long time my waiting time is success. See u doctor always. Like u much god bless u sir.

The worst hospital experience I've ever been through, it's totally disappointing to leave that impression in a patient who came for first time,
I have a Daman basic card, and I got an external referral letter from a specialist, and called the call center to book the appointment with the cardiologist, during the call I made it very clear to ask the agent if they can accept referral letter from specialist not from a gp since I'm holding a basic card, to make sure that I won't face any problem, and he assured me that it's totally fine, I booked and confirmed the appointment, I arrived 20 minutes early before my appointment, but I was shocked, the receptionist informed me that they can't accept this referral as it is from a specialist and she checked with her supervisor, she said your card also may be blocked because you have seen a gp in another facility so I can't even see a Gp in their facility to refer me to a specialist, I explained to her that I confirmed it with the call center agent before booking and they can listen to the call. I also spoke to the reception supervisor who wasn't that professional over the phone, he put mute during the call and placed me on hold without asking for my permission which shows a lack of soft skills, I think QA can listen to the calls and provide a feedback, anyway the supervisor said he will check with the insurance team but he wasn't helpful all, eventually they persist that gp referral is required and they didn't offer any help, and they refused to take responsibility for the wrong info that was given, I left without seeing any Dr, and they even didn't offer me to see a GP,
I called Daman later on and was informed that I can see a Gp and my card is not blocked, so they should have at least checked and provided this option, but they just assumed that my card is blocked cause I saw a Gp dr in another facility

Bad service for emergency they send me back home while i'm having asthma because i still didnt get my pcr test! I told him i had one today and i'm having a flue he told me just take panadol! Is this how emergency should work!

عملت فحص pcr ب 350 درهم الي تظهر النتيجه خلال ساعة الى ساعتين واليوم السادس والنتيجة لم تظهر اتصلت اكثر عن مرة لاسترداد المبلغ لاكن لاجدوة!

I visited dr. Richard Knebel, he explained in details, and I liked most is that he told me that no need for xray, and explained everything from the normal examination.

More than 2 hours of waiting in ER. They even let new arrival to be the first. Please make your system more functional and atleast make the waiting time atleast less than an hour.

Dr Richard Knebel was very helpful with his patients. He explained to me every detail ragarding my concerns as well as the medications that. He listened to my complains attentively. Was very patient and was so kind. Will reccomend Dr. Richard for orthopedic consultaions.

None of the online and mobile app appointment services worked. What is communicated via the app, email and smses are completely different to what was instructed the reception. The automated systems are almost completely redundant and I can't recommend using these. Rather phone or make an appointment in person

Very bad experience in mediclinic alnoor hospital, from the reception to the doctor.the nursing staff are not introducing their self to the patient, as a patient I felt bad experience with them, even they are not providing a bottle of water.

I visited Dr Richard knebel clinic (knees and hips specialist). Very satisfied with the care and the time that the dr spent with me explaining my problem and explaining the treatment plan.

After suffering 5+ years with pain, Dr. Richard Knebel -consultant orthopedic surgeon- is the only doctor who reached the pain points directly without me pointing to him, which shows how good he is.
And he explained to me what is the problem clearly.
Also I would like to say that he is so kind and can keep explaining and repeat if I was not sure about something.
I really liked this doctor and definitely highly recommend him.

1. Very honest opinion which I rarely could give to any doctor. I'm really happy with Dr Richard Knebel, specialist of his field that's for sure. This is the only orthopaedic doctor who truly took his time to examine me, asked so many questions and explained everything in details. I wish all doctors to be the same.
2. I would request hospital administration to work harder to resolve appointment issues, we always face the problem with appointments and it delays to 2 - 3 weeks. I'd love to speak with administration to explain few unpleasant situations

I recently had a consultation with Dr Knebel. He was really thorough in his examination and I managed to have X-rays in the same consultation so no need to book a follow up. Really happy with the way he explained my diagnosis, it was very clear.

I came by walk in. Like 1pm And I’m really feeling sick. They don’t accept walk in. Unless emergency and you have good insurance card.

Dr. Richard Knebel is the best orthopedic I’ve ever seen. He is a great listener and he explained my complicated case in a very simple yet informative way, he engaged me in my treatment plan. On top of all that, he is a very nice guy on the personal level, I really liked him.

I had D&C in this hospital last year, before the procedure the anesth tech had to insert my IV line, we were 2 patients inside the waiting room, he did insert the other patient's IV before he did mine, I noticed he wasn't wearing any gloves, right after the other patient he did not perform hand hygiene before he administer mine. Infection control alert!

Used to be one of the top hospitals in the 90s however following their recent purchase by Mediclinic all the good doctors left and unprofessional ones have replaced their positions probably budget cuts or who knows why. Trying to make a call or get in touch with anyone within the hospital for any reports or documentation is impossible. The receptionist at the departments unfortunately don’t speak English well and when they say they’ll call back they don’t. Doctors are even worst, they’re actually rude and unhappy so they show no interest in their patients. Such a shame for what was once a lovely place.

I had the worst experience ever in al noor hospital. I usually go to mediclinic airport road which is so far so good however today i had the bad idea to go to al noor just to get a second opinion from the orthopedic. Although the receptionist was nice but i had to wait 50 min after my apointment time to see the doctor even though i came 10 min earlier. Total 1 hour waiting. Still i was trying to be patient and understanding. Not only that but the doctor was grumpy and bad tempered. I definitely don't question or doubt his competence and skills however his is not approachable at all. He was giving answers to only what i was asking without any further explanation or whatsoever. Plus the way he talks made me feel very uncomfortable. Well patients come and need reassurance and approachable and friendly doctors. I feel sorry for him if for whatever reason he was having a bad day or behind schedule. BUT he is dealing with ppl who have emotions and feelings. I left the clinic crying and honestly will never come again and will tell my friends and colleagues to avoid this hospital. And who ever is reading this post. DO NOT WAIST YOUR TIME. NOTHING IS WORTH IT IN HERE

The hospital is good, clean and fast and the staff are kind and respectful but my only complain is that when i dial the hospital toll free, noone picks and i would have to wait for a solid 20 minutes for someone to even pick the phone. If this would be resolved, i would give 5 star. O yea and the cafe items are overpriced seriously a bottle of water is 6 aed

It is a very good hospital, excellent managment, the staff are experienced and very welcoming, they do have most of the specialties, operating theatres are available.
The only very annoying thing is the elevators they are not enough and slow.
Free parking valet available for patients.

If there's no star, I would not give this hospital even a star. Delay. Delay. Delay. Service here is dead slow. They do not respect appointment. I have to wait 45 minutes to see the doctor although I arrived on time.
Talking about the pharmacy is stressful. I have to wait one hour and 15 minutes to get the medicine. This is unbearable.

2 hors to see a dr and take 1 medicine.still waiting.because the medicine was given in a barcode so I wouldnt be able to take it from other pharmacies

Had to wait 3 and a half hours for a general doctor because there is only one doctor and 20 people waiting and that one doctor decided to have a break. Very bad hospital. Construction in the main level looked like I was going to a site not a hospital

Delay delay delay, I waited more than 2 hours in ER, my mom was on pain and there is no floor or site manager to coordinate patients, there is really Emergancy cases however they is no priority or any respect for patient conditions. Its better to go to another hospital.

Before this hospital very good. I went yesterday staff behaviour it's very rude. I go in emergency they keep me waiting around 2 hours then they start treatment then doctors told me to go receptions for book appointment reception guys told me they dont have access to book appointment then i again go to DR he said just go to ultrasound and book appointment there. They also told me they cannot book appointment just call helpline and book appointment. Next day i call helpline they said they cannot book appointment i have to go hospital. Then i explained what I'm facing he said sorry i cannot help you. I ask him how i can make complaints he said we don't have any complaints departments. Then i call Al NOOR hospital they also said there is no complaint department. I told reception lady transfer me to manager she keep me hold in 10 minute then she told me all mangers in meeting she cannot help me. Still am waiting for ultrasound appointments

The worst emergency facility in uae, the nurse is the one who decides whos more important than the other And the average waiting time there is 1 and half hours!

We were referred here after my son needed to be admitted for pneumonia. We were told to see Dr. Nirajan and he was excellent. He was patient, informative and thorough. I def recommend him as a pediatrician. The facilities itself are older compared to so many of the new hospitals in Abu Dhabi but the care was great.

I’ve never known a hospital take as many x rays as this one. If an x ray is done at Al Noor one day, they need to do another one at Airport Road the next (and don’t even ask about the chaos in the chemist). At least there was a Starbucks!

All my contact details have been changed i dont understand how they managed to do that and on top of that i had to wait 1hour and 30 mins just for my turn at the pharmacy which is ridiculous because even after that long wait i had to wait another 30 mins for confirmation.so took me 2 hours just to get my medications like i have nothing better to do than to wait at your pharmacy for 2 hours.i could have gotten my medication in 15 mins from any other pharmacy and not like your pharmacy is crowded that it took so long

I have an appointment with a surgery Dr. Morris Fares Kallas, and after I waited him for more than 15 minutes, he came out and ask me outside why are you here? ! Then he can't meet me today!

The worst service I have ever seen, there is NO follow up and they Don't update the patients with their results or anything, and you need to call hundred times to reach them or you need to go to hospital just to get your results! Very very bad hospital

Worst service I've seen. Waiting more than 2 hours at pharmacy for tablets. Suggest to avoid this place. At the end, once finally I came to counter, they says that medicine is out of stock! When I ask to call manager, he is not available.
