Mr. Kimchi

Earlier, this restaurant was named Bon Ga and was run by a Korean family who had the best korean dishes served. But now I saw it's called Mr Kimchi and it serves horrible korean dishes. No where near the previous management. Staff, the cook changed, which means the quality of food is gone down significantly. Kimchi jeon was okay and mandu was horrible and it was frozen vegetable product fried badly. Korean fried chicken - sweet and chilly - were big chunks of chicken, whereas earlier, the chicken was cut in standard korean portions where you could eat it without any inconvenience. DALGALBI - was very salt, oily with no balance of chicken and cheese. It was a disaster. Had I known the Bon Ga management has sold this restaurant, I wouldn't have gone all the way to Mussafah to be disappointed. I hope the management improves their quality of food.

I don't usually write the review unless I get an extremely fantastic experience or worst experience ever. I found hair in Yukgaejang soup already 2 times! First one was May 24, second time was 21 November. Super dirty even they didn't apologize and they just throw away the hair.why? They wanted removed the evidence. But I took a picture before I showed you them.

Went on nov 1st and my first time to visit the place with a friend. Must say the quantity and quality of food is reasonable for the price. A friend told me she love what she ordered. But what's regretful about is, my friend and i agreed that when we asked the order taker staff anything about the menu the way she responded us lets say not that pleasant and the tone my dear, well we ended up ignoring her as we were really hungry that time though we can feel how irritated she was. We just thought maybe shes tired. Take a break my dear and go back with a smile)

I love to buy in mr kimchi yas mall especially people are smiling at you while doing service like jessica and carol staffs. Food are great and people are hospitable

This is my first time to visit this restaurant I was surprised by food they have very tasty food staff is very helpful and always smiling and one lady having Arabic tattoo in hand she is very polite and very helpful I like the attitude and her behaviour…

I recently visited Mr. Kimchi at Yas Mall and had a disappointing encounter with one of the staff members, Kara. Her customer service left much to be desired. She displayed a rude attitude and a lack of patience when taking our order. Kara also seemed disinterested in explaining the menu, which made our dining experience far from pleasant. We hope that the management addresses these issues, as they can significantly impact a customer’s perception of the restaurant.

The food are really nice and delicious. On top of that the staff are very accommodating and friendly.

Me & daughter are big fans of all things Korean, me mainly the food, but have had a Tteok-bokki yet, until recently at the food court at Yas Mall, Abu Dhabi. We found an outlet of Mr.kimchi and ordered a portion of Tteok-bokki which is essentially a tteok or chewy rice cakes, simmered in a Korean chili paste, the gochujang sauce. Trying for the first time, the chewy rice cake texture was almost slimy, but the simerred broth was a flavour bomb and it was 100% vegetarian. It was a delicious meal that I shared with daughter, and she liked too.

We were planning to definitely visit again, but didn’t happen, but looking forward to visiting a branch in a new country soon. #apjprecommends

The price is a little bit expensive in food court, but less expensive than a typical Korean restaurant. The food is mainly bunsik something like a snack such as kimbap and tteokbokki, and the flavors are similar to those of Korean restaurants. The quantity and quality of food is reasonable for the price. You won't regret yoir choice.

I was skeptical about the reviews from previous visitors, but I guess they don't know Korean tastes well haha.
I really wanted to eat Korean food, so I went to Yas Mall and ate it!
A truly Korean taste!
It’s more delicious than Kimbapnara in Korea!
Be sure to eat ramen, kimbap, and steamed rice as part of the soup! There is no comparison with cup ramen. It's truly the best! The jjamppong soup is the best!
Real Koreans, if you want to eat Korean food in Abu Dhabi, be sure to visit!

If i could rate this less than one stars i would.do urself a favor and dont come here.first of all, the food is the furthest thing from anything remotely related to korean cuisine.not only was the kimchi fried rice cold and unflavorful, we found a hair in it, as if the rice couldn’t get worse.the meat was chewy and tasted like rubber, the sweet and sour chicken was mushy and the kimchi was very mid.the staff were extremely nonchalant and unapologetic when i showed them the hair in my rice as if this was a normal occurrence with them.extremely bad customer service and even worse food.don’t come here.

Great food and serving even the employees are very friendly.highly recommended restaurant if you go to yas mall.
