Najd Palace Restaurant and Kitchen

Najd Palace Restaurant & Kitchen serves a variety of traditional and modern Arabic and Gulf dishes. Standout dishes include madhbi (Yemeni chicken rice), shakshouka (boiled eggs in spicy tomato sauce) and madfoon (Arabic lamb rice dish). However, there are many other options – each with the same high quality and distinct taste.

Established in 2012, there are several branches of Najd Palace scattered throughout the city. The experience is consistent across all of them, including great service and a sophisticated atmosphere. Don't worry, though – the prices are still reasonable.

The food is really delicious. But there is a lot of it! I ordered Mandi chicken, and even though I tend to eat well, I only ate half of it. Be sure to order one menu for two.

The food is delicious. I love the ambience as well. The waiters and waitress are very nice as well. We ordered Mutton Bukhari, Mutton Mandi, and Chicken Mandi. The yogurt taste nice. We also ordered salad and it's the best one so far.

Accidently we ended up here after a night party, craving for hot mandhi, as it was cold outside.
Took the seat, waited for an half an hour for the waiter & ordered half madhfoon & half madhbi (for 4 people; full chicken platter not available here).
Food reached in 10 mins, it was cold. We couldn't understand why they had covered the platter with aluminum foil paper if the food wasn't going to be hot. Even the accompanying dishes were extremely cold, causing our fingers to go numb when we tried to dip them in!
It was truly shocking to see the unbelievably small portion of rice and the burnt, tasteless chicken.
Finally took some cheese-kunafa (hidden peanut sized cheese in the middle)
You may expect great food seeing the overpricing; but it's all in vain.

Overall, Najd Palace is a prime example of overpricing and lack of flavor, where the portion sizes are more suitable for a small child.

Very poor service, I ordered via phone and they promised to deliver the food within 45 min. It’s been 2 hours and the food not delivered. I called two times to follow up and the answer was always the driver is near your house

Food is very tasty, and as what we expected, advise people who love their belly to go and enjoy

I have a bad experience. The last 3 experiences were bad. I received the food cold, and the order did not arrive correctly. When I contacted the restaurant, my problem was not resolved.

I didn't like the service, as nobody attended for quite a long time.

The place was not clean enough, and very smelly.

After ordering the food, it was noticed that it was not hot/quite cold as it was not fresh.

Many times, the waiter was called, but there was no response.

At the time, it was decided to leave, the manages available there, and the feedback was given to him.

If this was the service, would you prefer to go there?

One of the best meat madfoon. Chicken madhbi is also good. Mandi rice with madfoon meat is best combination. Only issue is price of mandi is expensive.

Meat mandi - we starts eating before realizing to take photos.been here for Nth times but Najd Palace never failed to impress us from staff to the food, they're superb.ohh.ohh.they're kunafa - the best!

This place is in Abu Dhabi. I visited this place with a friend. Food is very tasty and staff is friendly and courteous.

كنت اتوقع انه افضل من ما شفت ولكن السعر لا يناسب الوجبه فهي وجبه عاديه جدا مثل اي مطعم هندي يبيع مندي ولكن السعر مبالغ فيه مقابل الوجبه فهي لا تستحق السعر لا تستحق اكثر من 15 درهم أنا اعلم ان تعليقي لن يقدم او يؤخر ولكن هذه الحقيقه

It seems the taste is not the same as it was. This was the first choice for me to order madhbi etc. I placed an order through Talabat, delivered on time, chicken was dry and cold, madbi rice was not tasty as its used to be. Madfoon was good with maintained taste. The soup were missing. Wondering if the soup to be ordered separately now.

المظبي و مدفون اللحم نااااااار. الاكل مافي عليه كلام بس التعليق الوحيد في المكان نفسه المطعم محتاج شوية اهتمام بالنسبة للجلسات

For lunch, we ordered mutton mandi. We had a strong cravings for it, however the meat had large bones and was insufficient for two people. I'm hoping for extra meat to balance out the rice nextym. ️

Visited the restaurant with my friend for lunch, today. We order Mandi. Taste was good, quality of rice was average and Meat served in the plate was having more bones and skins than usual. We informed the waiter about meat but she did not respond well. We then complained to the staff at the counter which was also met with disappointing response. When manager was called and informed, he showed no care and blamed us for starting our meal as an excuse to not change the platter. We informed him that we are regular customers and will not return again and very impolitely he said that it is not an issue. Very disappointed with the service received today.

مكان يستحق التجربة لكل من لم يقم بتجربة مأكولات هذا المطعم.
البعض قد يرونه غالي الثمن. ولكن ستجد الاختلاف في الطّعم والمذاق مقارنة بغيره.

جميل جداً. اللحم المندي مع الرز كلام ثاني يستاهل ٥ نجمات بجداره، الدجاج مع رز البيشاور كان عادي مو ذاك الزود،الكنافه النوتيلا+ الجبنه لذيذه الأكل حار. المكان نظيف والجلسات مريحه وسريعين بتقديم الطلب.

انصح عشاق الرز والكبسات يجربونه!

Very good variety of food. But i will cut one star because the quality is not same as expensive. Need more improvement.

They serve the best Chicken Madfoon. Everything else is also great but Chickem Madfoon is some another level.

Very tasty food. All the meals are very delicious. Price is good, but they increase their price recently.

But the rice stay in your stomach for a week, you need to drink chines tea or "7olol" to get rid of it, after you enjoy your meal, or walk fast for 3 KM, to digest the rice.

The best place to serve yemeni dishes in town. I love the arabic style with and without cabin seating which allows you to sit on the floor and eat. They have seperate floor seated rooms for family. The stars however are for the taste and the restaurant style. Served in no time. Fast and good staffs.

مطعم في غاية البخل، بالرغم ان اسعاره مبالغ فيها ما يعطي الروب و الشطه و الشوربه الا بفلوس ، كل شي بفلوس و اذا مب بفلوس يسمع كلام انه عطيناك فري ، تعال سيء جدا جدا جدا

Today was the second time i visited, this visit was because the taste was good. This time the staff completely dissappointed us by their behaviour, we have ordered only one mandi for two, as one person was not that much hungry. May be because of that we did not get much attention from the staff. Even i was asking myself to the staffs for the final tea they used to serve.

Very bad attitude of the call center staff. Ordered konafa cheese and they delivered konafa cream. Called to complaint the restaurant but to my surprise he said nothing can be done and I need to complaint to zomato as I the order was placed from zomato.

من افضل المطاعم في ابوظبي هو و مطعم المطبخ السعودية، منافسه قوية لارضاء الزبائن ولكن افضل ان يتم مراجعة الاسعار

بالنسبة للاكل كويس لكن مش دائما متوفر الاشي اللي بتطلبو فبتضطر تطلب اشي ثاني. بالنسبة لخدمة التوصيل للسيارة اسوء خدمة شفتها في حياتي وخاصة فرع شارع النجدة. وصلت وضليت اكثر من عشر دقائق بانتظار الموظف اللي باخد الطلب وما اجا فرحت نزلت من سيارتي وعملت الطلب بنفسي جوا المحل وطلت يوصلوه للسيارة وضليت انتظر اكثر من ٢٥ دقيقة عشان يجيبو الطلب وما اجا ولما فتت اسال عن الطلب لقيتو جاهز بس حاطينو عالرف وناسيين يبعتوه ولما وصلت البيت طلع الطلب غلط كمان!

The service is so bad that the quality of the food doesn't matter. We ordered something and we asked 3 times about it when it took too long and they said is on the way. An hour after when I asked for it in a stricter way they claimed that we never ordered that thing. Then why on earth you didn't say this on the first time we asked about it? (Even though we ordered it for sure since it was our main dish)
I came here a few times and the service was always slow, especially if you don't speak arabic, but I guess that was the last time.

ماشاءالله ع ذبايحهم ، والله ممتاااااازة انا بالنسبة لي هذا اقوى مطعم ذبايح في بوظبي ، صدق بياض ويه ، تطلب وانت متطمن

Usually, most restaurants are taking longer, even the biriyani is always ready to supply and is already close to our house, but it can take more than 1 hour, but it is a very fast delivery and tasty of chicken and rice, enough to an average of 2 people

One of the best meat madfoon. Chicken madhbi is also good. Mandi rice with madfoon meat is best combination.

One of the best if not the best restaurants in Abu Dhabi everything there is perfect the time you inter till the time you leave, food is very tasty and there is many choices of food, all staff are welcoming and know there job well, prices are reasonable. It is on journey I think everyone must try. Special thanks to the manager Mr. Khalid for job well done.

The food was good but the waiters were not very attentive. When entering they just pointed upstairs, nobody guided us, until we were searching everywhere for space to seat one of them finally showed us an empty dining room that still needed to be cleaned. To order anything we waited long time. Despite ringing the bell nobody was attending us promptly. The drinks we ordered together with food arrived after we ate.

ماانصح فيه ابدا غالي على الفاضي والطعم عادي جدا دجاج مندي سعرها 35 درهم ليش ذهب حرام في مطاعم يمنية تقدم وجبات ارخص من جذي والاسعار معقولة بس ماانصح بمطعم نجد واخر مره معاهم لان مايستاهل ارجع اكل عندعم

Me and my friends came to this place several times to try out their mandi but sometimes they would say that they don't serve it for dinner. The fact that this restaurant being most well known for their mandi and madhbi in town was disappointing due to the reason that they had very few dishes on their menu over that they didn't have mandi almost every time I went there with friends for dinner. But regardless, we had no option but to choose madhbi and it was amazing.

The service isn't as good. We once ordered food with bread instead of rice and they brought us both bread and rice then told us if we don't pay for both they shall deduct the amount from the waiters paycheck. Even when arguing with us they tried to indicate that we were lying and wanted to have some free food.

This is where you can taste one of the great Mathbi and Mandi! The quality is so great and delicious! You can't complaint to the service since they are fast and the area is clean whether you pick the room which you will seat at the ground or in tables like what you see on the image below! If you are visiting Abu Dhabi, we suggest to try Najd Palace on your list!

Very good. However it used to be the best but noe there is a great competition and options for the same level of service and price.

Excellent food in traditional humble seating. Tried both meat and chicken on different occasions and were both spectacular and very filling meals! I like the chicken madhbi and madfoon meat. Service is quick but servers are not always easy to catch because it’s quite packed at all times.

Seating arrangement it's like a Majlis.
They will provide Soup for starters and it's free.
After you had the soup you can feel the taste of that shop.

Price is higher then other Arabian biriyani shop. But if u want to taste the authentic Arabian mandhi biriyani this is the place.

If I are in abudabi city try it once. Then you will go again and again.

دايما الاكلات مخلصه عندهم ان كان الغذا او العشا ويجبرونك على طبق معين مش مره ولا مرتين على هالموضوع والاداره عارفه بالموضوع لكن لاحياة لمن تنادي،،، والشي الغريب المواقف للزباين داخل المطعم وتبع المطعم عليها رسوم ،،،، نعنا نروح فنادق خمس نجوم والمواقف مجانيه

Very tasty and yummy food, they have Jareesh dish (Saudi dish) only this restaurant and Saudi Kitchen offer this dish, the meat is tasty specially Madfoon, Chicken madbhi also tasty and doesn’t smell bad like some other restaurants. Ive been there many times and still the same quality. It’s crowded place so don’t walk in hungry if you are planning to have Arabic Jalsa.
