Talking point is the food. The food is absolute quality and they've been consistent for years.

A good place for lunch. Ambience is not the best, family section could be a bit more spacious.

I ordered veg fried rice and paneer via zomato and they delivered spoilt food. You could literally get that foul smell from the food. Never recieved such an experience anywhere in this region.

We were invited for an anniversary dinner in Nihal, Their overall snacks & curries were tasty. I tried veg spring roll, daal tadka & mix veg - loved it, Roti & Nan quality was good

There are many Indian restaurants in Abu Dhabi but our household absolutely LOVES Nihal Restaurant! Nihal is our go-to Indian. We have never been into the restaurant and have only ever ordered delivery (via zomato). Every single time the food comes delivered hot and delicious. We have ordered various dishes from Nihal over the past 6 months (roughly once a fortnight) and not only have the dishes been super tasty but the quality has been consistent. Never dry, never too little protein, never a bad meal. Oh, and one more thing - the prices are fantastic at Nihal’s. We used to order from another popular Indian restaurant but their mains are nearly double but I wouldn’t say the quality is so.

I have ordered Chicken Biriyani It's one of the best chicken biriyani I had recently.
The interior is cosy and staffs are friendly and graceful also the service is awesome.
The taste of the biriyani is great and feel the quality of ingredients used.
The papad and mint chutney was awesome.
This was my first visit and I'll recommend to my friends and colleagues.

We have been regularly ordering from Nihal and it has not disappointed us.

We usually prefer to order good starters and tikka for our home delivery.

Our favourite dishes are "Chicken Pahadi Tikka" and "Chicken Lollypop". The Pahadi tikka stands out as possibly one of the best tikka here in AbuDhabi. The richness of mint and dhaniya is pretty evident on this dish.

We have tried Chicken lollipop from quite a few restaurants but Nihal convincingly beats competition. Their sauce stands out for its thickness and consistency. Chicken manchurian is a standard dish that lives upto the expectations.

Lastly the daal fry is pretty awesome (for daal lovers.go for it). Ask for extra tadka and you will be obliged with a good dose of tadka.

Another dish that we like is the chicken fried rice with double egg. It is better than most of the chicken fried rice that we have tried at the umpteen number of places.

I would say it is a pretty good restaurent if you just want to have either a sumptious feast or just relaxed weekend.

NOTE: Weekends are really busy and you might have a slight drop in quality due to heavy rush.

Except Seating arrangement everything is poor, Schezwan fried rice full of colour powder and filled with sauce, jus imagine even after washing hands also hands are colour
Chicken lollipops OMG chicken is not fresh at all that smell and taste spoiled our taste buds, and moreover even in this pandemic situation no hygiene glasses are not washed properly.overall except Manchow soup everything is waste.

Nihal Restaurant has become one of my favorite places to go to since moving to the UAE. Centrally located in Abu Dhabi, this two story restaurant is a beacon of deliciousness for all things Indian and Chinese.
There is ample parking around the building, but do remember to pay your parking first. The restaurant is a little dark on the inside, but is clean. It also has some private rooms should you want to be hidden away with a group of people.

The other night I had a craving for Butter Chicken and we jumped in the car and headed straight for Nihal. We are always greeted with a smile and seated quickly. All of the servers are attentive and willing to help with menu choices. This is good because the menu is a bit overwhelming. I have yet to have a dish I didn't like come out of their kitchen. The service is greatly appreciated since that is something that is lacking in many places around the city. At Nihal, you will always have someone checking in on you to make sure your experience is pleasant.

On this visit not only did we have the Butter Chicken, but we ordered the Dal Tadka, the Sliced Lamb in a pepper sauce, and the Butter Naan and the Kashmiri Naan. The later is topped with chopped up pieces of pineapple, cherries, nuts, and some type of cheese. It doesn't sound like this mixture should go on top of bread but somehow it works and is really tasty. All the dishes were hot, served nicely, and were quite tasty.

At a time when even higher end restaurants are still serving meals on paper plates and with plastic forks and knifes, at Nihal you get real plates and silverware to eat with. Another aspect that sometimes goes unnoticed is the fact they play music in the background that matches their cusine, not some radio station with commercials blarring.

All of the items on their menu are affordably priced from starters to desserts. No matter how hungry I think I am before going to Nihal, I always end up leving with lunch for the next day. I always look forward to that lunch! If you haven't been to Nihal Restaurant.give it a try!

We used to order Pahadi Tikka every week before. Their pahidi was very tasty and It comes with a Nan, Pothina chutney. But now no nan is not there, we needed to order seperately might be because of high demand they cut the nan.

Awesome Food.

Anything you order is really good.
But the only problem is they delay in serving.

Nihal has been one of my favorites since years. Especially for home delivery. The food is properly packed and they deliver it on time and HOT!
They have one of the best tikka masala and butter chicken. All of their chicken tandoor dishes are delicious, the meat is tender. Chicken lollipop dipped in their sauce is heavenly. A must try if you love indian/indo-chinese food.

Food and ambience is very neat. Just tried tandoori chicken and clear soup - turned out to be best soup I had in various hotel. Food quality, quantity and cost was good. I would visit again

Wow what a lovely place! Nothing fancy but well maintained and very clean. Friendly staff and really fantastic food! Lovely curries but also good grill.and their naan.yummy! Of course we ordered to much, now we brought it with us all packed to enjoy it tomorrow again.

It's good for northindia foods only. Biriyani and roti items available. Mix bread basket is very different idea. U can try all type of bread items. All gravies are very good. Biriyani also good. Chicken patiala is very good dishes and must try. It's layered egg with chicken gravy. Any other place I didn't get this taste. Suitable for family and get together.

Nice restaurant to enjoy some North and South Indian food. Family atmosphere and good, fast service

We chanced upon this restaurant thanks to our Guide.the ambeiance is good the management very helpful. We were the only four we entered the restaurant and within minutes it was full. We being veg ordered veg food which was very near to home food.our guide who ordered. Non veg Biriyani was very appreciative of the quality of food. The price was very reasonable I have no hesitation in recommending this restaurent

This authentic Indian restaurant is located behind the Life Line Hospital, in Zayed the 1st street.foods are spicy but tastes good.they are maintaining their quality of food.ambience is very neat and tidy with traditional sitting arrangements.staffs are friendly and helpful.

One of the best places in abu dhabi to have traditional indian food, a very rich menu with a wide variety of tastes, the setting is good with traditional seating options, The staff is very friendly, the food quality is really good and plate portions are huge. Recommend!
