Peppermill

We visited Peppermill with big expectation but heart of restaurant i.e. Food is not upto the mark. I had chicken biryani which was of no tatste and even chichen was undercooked. For starters you have only 2 options of chutneys.green churney and raita.even staff does not bother to take feedback and even not looking at your experience. Does not worth price and even a single visit.

We had our office team meeting with 3 different nationalities on lunch. The ambience was perfect.the service was great. Food was perfect catering to an international client with a flavou, the pricing was also normal.

Weak services … i drive to Mangarove Branch thinking is a best service & quality.
Some orders missing & they didn’t have the Indian bread starter.
Very poor service comparing with hotel location & prices.
Save your time and go to Al Wahda Mall Br.

Had late lunch, the food portion was small, and the service is down, but I loved their Butter Naan? With a mixed chicken grill.

Quaint ambience. Good portion sizes. Polite and courteous staff. Food preparations could improve, some portions are flavoursome, some lack flavour.

Had dinner there on 11th Aug 2022, I literally had to wait for the waiter's appointment through out the dinner to give my orders. Food Service was one of the worst I had ever experienced.food taste was below average.for the price you charge give some quality service.

The only good part of the experience was the courtesy of the team member who served us
Nothing related to fine dining in terms of mood, presentation or even food quality.

We have ordered Murgh tilka massala, chole and chicken biryani. Very disappointing quality and presentation in addition to being over priced for the size of the portion.

Blunt biryani and the chole was like a ball of garam masala.

The waiter Sijin was exceptional. He was helpful and attentive. Food was outstanding - I really enjoyed the mango salad which is a huge portion and brilliant value as well as the karak tea which was enough for two.

The Mango Lassi was good but it had a little too much of cardamom.by every sip I had some cardamom peel, it was disturbing to enjoy the good lassi! The Paratha didn't have enough salt! The chicken Briyani and chicken Chettinad were good! The waiter forgot to bring us a bottle of water, even he wrote down and repeated our orders. At the end we've waited long for the check (even there weren't many of customers). And also the music in the restaurant wasn't matching to the indian food! (mexican music).

Excellent food, chart platter dishes good, raan Britain oushm, serve is excellent provide by Mr Nand Kishore. Ambitious very good, polite staff.

Ambience was very good and loved the place and the staff was a very good especially Mr Nand Kishore he served very nicely And very friendly.

Good food with great ambience. Service at this outlet is better than their other outlets. Ambience is better too.

Gathered for Valentines dinner and sorry to say the service and food quality was not to the mark. Very disappointed. Will be strikes off my list of fav places to eat.

The only best part of the restaurant was it ambience, the surrounding and the hospitality. The food was average, not very good, not very bad.

We had one of the best experiences at Peppermill! The staff was super polite and the food preparation was awesome! Our server even helped us in ordering food as per our liking and it did not go wrong so special mention for Mr. Nandkishore.

I have been here several times and it never disappoints.

The location is convenient, you can park outside. However at busier times it can be a struggle to find a parking space.

This place is best to visit in the winter when the weather is nice. You can sit outside and enjoy the great food.

The menu is very generous and offer a lot. I always go for the vegetarian sample starter, a curry and biryani. This way you get to taste a bit of everything. The food is exceptionally good.

The waiters are very attentive and the overall service is great.

Pricing is very reasonable for such great food and location.

Highly recommended.

We for iftar menu. Restaurant was empty and only 2 or 3 tables were occupied yet the staff wasn't pleasant and cold. Food quality wasn't either impressive too. Nan was good tho

I was looking forward to it in the beginning but sadly disappointed

Ordered the tomato soup; needs a bit more cream and salt. We also ordered the biriani and chicken butter and they taste amazing. Would totally recommend.

Manager was really rude and cold. You would expect a welcoming and smiling face, but he was the opposite of that. He didn’t help or tend to us. We asked for a table and he kept us waiting. When he finally showed up, he said we can’t have more than 4 chairs on a table. We were 4 adults and 2 children.

I may understand the limitation due to COVID19 regulations, but he was less than interested in tending to us. We told him we are leaving and he couldn’t care less. We went to a nearby cafe and had a joyful lunch with no issues related to such limitation.

Hospitality is as important as quality.

I must admit I was a little upset with my recent visit to Peppermill at Eastern Mangroves. Place was noisy from the kitchen and even the food was only of mediocre quality. Staff was good, however, could have obtained faster service. I have been here twice before and both the times, service as well as food quality was much better.

The food was nice. However, I had an absolutely unacceptable experience there and probably I won't go back to the restaurant. The Indian staff with glasses brought us the check after we enjoyed the food, and we told him that we wanted to use the entertainer voucher. He seemed to be unhappy that we are using the voucher, and after deduction it was still the same amount to be paid as shown on the original check. We asked him why is it still the same amount even after using the voucher, and he said "Because I already applied the entertainer when I brought you the check. " and I asked "How would you know that we would use entertainer? " He said "BECAUSE, USUALLY WHEN WE HAVE CUSTOMERS FROM CHINA OR KOREA, THEY LIKE TO USE ENTERTAINER VOUCHERS. " This is totally unacceptable. We told him that he shouldn't be assuming customers with their looks or race and even if you do it, you shouldn't be telling them. He seemed to be upset that we pointed out what he said, on his way back to his counter, we saw him crushing the receipt in his hand. I also work in customer service, and I never show this behavior to anyone even if I am in bad mood. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS, I NEVER JUDGE CUSTOMERS WITH THEIR LOOKS OR NATIONALITIES. He seemed to be very hyper to us, whenever we ask something he was replying in a very rude manner. It's unreliable and unacceptable attitude. An absolute nightmare! If you observed only those customers using the vouchers in your restaurant, maybe that's your value. Honestly, I went to that restaurant only because I had vouchers, otherwise, I have tons of other favorite restaurant where they present amazing service and good food.

Not very delicious such I thought I tried many indian restaurants but this was the worst.except that their sambosa was good

Great ambiance, excellent food. It's a great weekend eat out, a good mix of conventional and contemporary india cuisine.

It was great experience having indian chat platter in reasonable price, but water charges was 15 dh. Will come again soon

Nothing special, normal indian food, very few varieties on the menu and so expensive compared with same food in the other restaurants

This has been our fav haunt for Indian fine dining if I may call it that. The ambiance and service is good. The food is also very tasty. The kids loved the butter chicken and the parents loved the chittanad chicken which is very spicy and we like it that way.

The chat plater was tempting but didn’t come up to our expectations for the price we paid (AED 60). The samosas tasted like refried and the pani pooris were too little. The chettinad chicken had far too little chicken and had to dish it out. This wasn’t the case until last year.

The restaurant was good, I would say the taste is above average and service was nice.

I have lost the count on the numbers of times I have stepped in this restaurant! The best food and reasonably priced restaurant in Abu Dhabi.the ambience always plasters a smile on your face.great options for vegetarians like me.and excellent food presentation!

Its 85% satisfaction always, few small mistakes from management end always.rest its our regular going place.

I prefer alwahda mall branch, this branch has low number of staff and lazy and their service is very very slow. Wont come again unless they fix these issues

Peppermill used to be our favorite restaurant for North Indian Good food. Great option for starters, main course and even desert with good price and service.

Always recommend for delicious Lunch/Dinner there.

Ordered Butter Chicken, Garlic naan and paratha by #UberEats. Butter Chicken was thick and tasty. Naan was not bad.

Friendly staff, good atmosphere. Recommended to visit at times when the mercury is down, so that you can enjoy the outdoor beauty ie; eastern mangroves, a walk through the lake side and a boat ride.

I’m a big fan of Indian food but the food at peppermill was by far my worst experience. The vegetable biriyani was overcooked soggy, the tiger prawns burnt and the paneer makhani watery.sorry for this but never again

My Mom and Grandma from the U. S.wanted to try some Indian cuisine so I decided to bring them here. The food was delicious and the view was even better. Wait staff was wonderful!

Value for money, exotic menu, authentic cuisines, though choices are less. V. Good service and ambience.

Horrible experience today. Firstly, The manager at the restaurant scared my children that he will call for police if they make noise. Secondly, when we were ordering the food, the attendant told us that all appetizers are considered as main course. When the bill arrived we were told that only platter is not considered as main course and rest are. We were misled by the restaurant staff. We will never visit this restaurant again.

Best Indian food and very friendly staff.really like a lot of their dishes, including biryani, korma, butter chicken, Tikka, soups, It is hard to forget the sweet memories.you will love it.
