Rahmath Calicut Restaurant

I recently visited this establishment enticed by the promise of affordable Indian cuisine featuring a diverse menu that includes both Chinese and vegetarian options. The availability of washrooms, including a shared toilet, adds to the convenience factor.

Kudos to the place for offering a variety of dishes at budget-friendly prices; however, I must address a notable concern regarding cleanliness standards. This issue became apparent in the paratha or bread basket, as evidenced by the attached photo. The lack of thorough cleanliness was disappointing and had a noticeable impact on the overall dining experience.

I believe that a bit more attention to cleanliness would significantly enhance the appeal of this place. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously to ensure that every aspect of the dining experience aligns with the potential suggested by the menu and atmosphere.

On a positive note, I appreciate the effort put into offering a diverse range of dishes at affordable prices. Personally, I frequent this place for the samovar. While I've observed that the staff uses hand gloves, a concern arises as they seem to not change the gloves regularly.

Despite these setbacks, with some improvements, this place holds the potential to become a go-to spot for those seeking a blend of Indian and Chinese cuisine.

1 month ago, i tried from Rahmath Calicut Abu dhabi. The food was exemplary with variety to local keralite cuisines. The vibe so soothing. Service top class. Really want to mention Ms. Rizwana, GRM for her warm welcoming and order of her Hospitality.

They have a nice shawarma but unfortunately they have a poor delivery service. Before was good, the past few months more than 2 hrs for them to delivery a shawarma. I just got tired and stressed and never will order again.

Must try Biriyani it's awesome staffs are super friendly for delivery ensure to follow up them else might get bit delayed than expected.

Today we team IP, LLH hospital celebrated Christmas program. We ordered our lunch from rahmath calicut chicken biriyani. It was awesome and mouth waterning delitious one. The food was truely good and freshly prepared. We all enjoyed well, will choose your service in future too. Thank you so much for you hard work.

This restaurant is a scam but it's good, first of all it's not the real Rahmath Group. They do things differently they don't even give side dishes like pappadam and chamandi and the food is average. So yeah u wanna enjoy a restaurant that can be sued then go to Rahmath Calicut

Lets hear my honest review
A star for decent food, however after recent event, the true color showed up. This starts when the manager (i guess) try to dismiss us for late order or think we just being there for tea only.
1) Rudely blaiming us for making other customer ran away because not enough sit. While they have a reserve sit for 25pax which came after 1 hour
2) Racism: Calling us Kebayan while we are not, steorotyping people and look down on others. This is not first time.
3) He mentioned this restaurant paid 25k rent/month, so they cannot serve only tea or porata during dinner. We ate 3/4 hour with 73aed, while the reserve seat seems never ordered for 1 hour. I think your priority is an issue here.

I believe the manager needs to behave properly and have a right mindset. Business doesnt grow just from money, it grows when customer loving it.

This is a new place, biryanis are of south indian kerala malabar style. Tried all biryani, all r good, mutton biryani is yum. Quantity is good. Restaurant is spacious. Try to be there early as it is very crowded and biryani gets over by 2 pm. Tried three times, portion size was all good for me all time.

Bought Mutton Briyani and taste is just Ok, quality of meat is very low, rice flavour is good, the tast of Briyani is not that good compare to Original Rahmath in Calicut,

I am giving this 1 star because of the experience I had.
The staffs are not at all attentive, even who ever stading at cash counter also dont care customers are waiting. Atleast some one should monitor the customer who are waiting and next eligible person should get served.

Only had biriyan from there last week and i wanted to explore more as a foodie. But this was a big turned down for me and family.

Biriyanikku oru ushar illa. Seating and staff are nice but the chicken biriyani doesnt really bring out the flavours of the real biriyani.

Nothing but the truth it is not a breakfast place. I ve heard that biriyani is superb, not tried yet. Chai was good though.all the best rahmath.

I give them 5 out of 5 for serving mutton biryani with minimum sized meet portion, never saw any restaurant serving such a small single meat piece for the price they charge. Do not recommend to anyone and will never go back there.
You must check the market and see how other restaurants are serving portions, don't think your food is excellent and exceptional so that people will come in any way.
Don't be so ridiculous, one of my most disappointing restaurant experience, thanks for that.

Try calicut dum biriyani prepared by geerakashala rice.

Usually crowded during peak hours so expect a delay in serving.

Not worthy, Had Fish Biriyani and I think over priced for the Biriyani they serving. Taste 50/50, not sure This is Original Calicut Rahmath. Don’t expect Calicut Rahmat Taste

Very bad. They are making people fool. I have ordered chicken kandari and they gave an old chicken curry and insisted that the item is chicken kandari. Staff name is Clinto he insisted twice. Manager Samir doesn't provide the name in the beginning. Customer service is bad, food is okay. I have seen the previous reviews still we wanted to try it. Unfortunately a bad experience and will never visit again.

I have visited this restaurant last friday. The food was not that much good. More over the waiters were not knowing their menu and they are not professional at all. Two chicken dishes ordred were flop and what we have asked was not available there.

It’s a Worst Hotel.there is nothing except biriyani.yesterday i went there and ordered chicken roast and got beef roast, Such a irresponsible team.

Rahmath is a normal kerala restaurant with typical kerala dishes including biriyani. Don't get confused with Rahmath in Calicut. This restaurant is no where compared to quality of real rahmath.

My experience with Rahmath was bad. Tried chicken biriyani which was just average, meat was not cooked well and masala was too much oily. Also staffs are not friendly.
When we requested for additional biriyani rice they served normal ghee rice without any masala.

Rahmath need to improve a lot if they want to maintain customers which they generated in initial days just because of the name which they put.

We (3) Visited the restaurant on 23/11/2021 at 1: 15 pm for lunch and tried Mutton and Beef Biryani.

Taste : Both Biryani’s were not extra ordinary, its average.
Oily : Biryani was too oily.
Portion : Quantity of meat (Mutton/Beef) in biryani was comparatively less.
Portion : Served the Biryani without 'Pappad' and 'Payasam'.
Price : Mutton Biryani (17AED), Beef Biryani (15AED)

If you are visiting the restaurant with an expectation of biryani from Rahmath Hotel Calicut, will disappoint you.

'I don't think this restaurant belongs to Calicut Rahmath brand'.

My experience is given below. It has negative and positive feedback.

The main draw back of this restaurant is waiting time. Once you get a seat in restaurant, to deliver the food on the table token around 40 minutes.

Enough seating capacity but too rush, so you have to wait to get a seat first. Then you have to wait another 30-40 minutes get Biriyani on Table.

Supply order is correct but it is very time consuming activity.

We ordered two mutton Biriyani, one Biriyani had more Masala than a plate need.
And in my plate there was no Masala at all, and I got two big bones? , I requested more Masala but they didn’t give the priority for my request but later they provided enough Masala for me.

Suppliers are not listening the to the order and they didn’t give priority for our order.

The food was tasty, I will 3.8 /5 rating for the taste.
Taste is better than Mannat Restaurant in Abudhabi.

Worst hotel. I have tried shawarma, biriyani, and pepper chicken and roti here over a period of 3 days… nothing was good its just a show off hotel it will not satisfy your basic need by giving you quality good tasty food.

Egg briyani served only rice and Egg without masala its like only egg and rice and no tast at all not expected from this high profile restaurant i will not order anymore

I had a great experience. The ambience is very welcoming and charming. Lots of choices of traditional Indian food. The staff is friendly and the service was great. Highly recommended.

First experience is the worst experience. We ordered 3 Beef Biriyani and we got only the 3 bones (no meat at all). I have told to change the pieces and he bought same pieces again with some more masala covered in it.

Rubbish and poor service + nothing special about their biriyani. Rather it was one of the worst biriyani I have tried. Ordered a takeout chicken and a mutton biriyani sitting in my car. It took them 30mns to deliver and what is delivered is a mutton and a beef. Despite that not even a single piece of mutton or beef is eatable. No pickles or yogurt in the bag. The guy sitting in the counter has a “take it or leave it attitude”. They have a good location so lots of customers I see, but as per my experience, this restaurant is a rubbish one and I won’t recommend to anyone!
