I visit this wonderful restaurant atleast once a week to savor the yummy food. Wholesome, good portions and flavorful, I usually get veg spring rolls, spinach mushrooms fried rice, pepper fish, or with black bean sauce, I always ask for extra SAUCE The service is quick, the food well priced and delicious especially if you like Indian Chinese
Today around 1pm I just visited the royal orchid restaurant at gallery mall. But I am very much dissatisfied with the staff working there. She really don't have manner to talk with people and need to train her very nicely. I can understand dining customer is also important but its doesn't mean that delivery service is not worthless. Comparatively looking after delivery and dining, delivery is more senstive. It took 1 hour to receive my order.when I ask how many minute's time it will take for my order the lady standing in front of counter, then her answer was I don't know this is not my responsibility, talk to kitchen team. O God I was so shocked from her answer, and kitchen team came out and they told me we wanna apologize for inconvenience cause, but the lady was saying no need to apologize they really don't and any value and they never deserve it. By listening this things I really can't control my feelings and I share this things. It's an a humble request with management team before hiring any staff please don't look after their skin or beauty. Need to look after their behaviour and customer oriented manners.
We ordered thru talabat cause they don’t want to accept orders thru phone. We ordered hakka noodles expecting it to be complete set atleast with condiments but we received the order just as noodles alone. I called the store and informed them to my disappointment the restaurant staff even blamed me for not putting it as a note that I need those condiments. Hospitality wise unsatisfactory.
On the eve of UAE national day, we visited Royal Orchid in Galleria mall at Reem island which serves oriental food. It is located in the north side of the main mall on the 2nd floor. It has an open kitchen and ample sitting area both indoor as well as outdoor overseeing the breakwaters and Abu Dhabi skyline. It is very refreshing to sit out in the open in the pleasant winter months. Marican and Jhemy were very helpful to explain the menu and guide us to select the food dishes as we were keen on a vegetarian meal. We ordered veg hot and sour soup, chilli mushroom and Nasi goreng rice. The soup had generous amount of tofu, mushroom and other vegetables and rich in taste. The chilli mushroom was very tasty with cornflour coated fried mushrooms tossed in spicy sauces and capsicum. Nasi Goreng rice was so yummy with intense flavours of oriental sauces. The ingredients used were all fresh and preparation was authentic to oriental taste. The serving portions were large and reasonably priced. Royal Orchid also has meal bowl menu with many options to select from. We were contended with the amazing food quality and the smiling hospitality of the serving staff Marican and Jhemy.
Very generous, portions are really big! Staff is very friendly. Food was so tasty, the honey chiken were a bit too crunchy. Prices are not expensive at all! Recommended
I didn't know that "kwality" the Indian restaurant is under the umbrella of Royal Orchid, I used to love their Indian food, will definitely try it next time as yesterday we tried the Thai food. We tried the cheese dumplings, Chicken green curry, spicy basil rice, Hakka noodles & the Tenderloin, food was so good! If u like Thai food, u should definitely try it out. I gave 4 star for the interior space as it was a bit hot & some water leaking from AC. I hope they fix it soon.
Royal Orchid is located in the quite neighbourhood of Salaam street and Electra street behind ADNOC Distribution headquarters in Abu Dhabi with an ambience to suit the Chinese and Thai culture.
All the preparations are truly authentic to the Chinese and Thai taste with appropriate proportions of oriental ingredients such as lemon grass, kafir leaves, galangal, Thai brinjal, Thai chillies, etc.in Tom yum soup, Thai Green Curry, Pad Thai, Spring rolls, Mango sticky rice, etc.
The staff is friendly and welcomes you in Thai traditional outfit.
If you enjoy Oriental cusine, then Royal Orchid will not disappoint you.
Came to this place with office colleagues after a long while.the food is awesome and service very good. Portions sizes are pretty large and we ended up taking food back in well packed takeaway boxes. One of the best Thai food in town!
Ordered food from them the prawn garlic curry is filled with oil, dynamite shrimp didn’t taste good like plastic taste in it and didn’t look good too, dim sum is nice and sticky rice with mango nice too
Highly delectable Thai and Indian cuisine. We visit frequently here. Reasonable pricing in a family friendly setting. Ms. Dianne is our favorite waitress; she’s very efficient and friendly making our visits homely.
Located in the North terrace of the original Galleria mall, this Royal Orchid offers consistently great tasting food. The menu is simple yet varied. There is plenty of comfortable seating. A great place to come and have a tasty great value meal in relaxed surroundings.
Never like to give bad review to a restaurant. But this specific one was very bad, the ambiance the smell everything even the food didn't seem fresh cause it upset our stomach, in addition to that the crackers were clearly stale.
Worst branch of royal orchid. As soon as i entered there was a very bad smell of garbage. I changed my table trying to get away from the smell. The waitress told me its smell of some kabaab but it was clearly not. I ordered fried lamb and the food was stale and i got bad stomach since i came back with stomach ache. I might inform authorities.
They make the best Phad Ki Mao. I came back to Abu Dhabi after 4 years and was excited to try the same again and it was as delicious as before. If you are a fan of Thai food then make sure not to miss it:)
Amazing Asian food, Indian, Chinese, Thai and other cusines, every time I try new dishes, and I find all are delicious, perfect and tasty, we enjoyed the atmosphere and service, I do advice to try crispy beef, butter chicken, shrimp Noddles, chicken tikka and Nan bread with garlic and butter, also there is Thai dessert like Mango &rice
Very poor service, do not recommend this place due to poor customer service. We were the only 2 guests in the restaurant however it took them forever to come take our order and the staff taking our order did not know the menu herself and took down the wrong order. Finally when the food arrived it was extremely spicy (inedible spicy) when informed the staff about extremely spicy food she apologised however refused to change the food saying "did the person taking your order not inform you it will be spicy, now her shift is over". Very bad attitude of the staff, they were least bothered, and could not care less.
You Must Try their Pad thai and Mie Goreng. Generous serving and reasonable price for the taste. Wait time is average, which is expected for a dine in experience. I surprisingly loved the Khao Suey (Burmese dish). Try also the Mango Sticky Rice.
Great food and ambience, was value for money since we could use buy 1 get 1 free offer on the entertainer. Parking was a bit of an issue since there is residents only parking after 9. Also the restaurant seemed understaffed, there was only one server for over 10 tables, so had to wait long for everything
Good Restaurant with Standard. Staffs are well behaved. However rate is quite high. Charged AED. 8/- for Bottle of 1.5L water, which cost them lessthan AED1.30. Quite Abnormal pricing. Will revise the price maximum by 400%.
You are thinking - after all this waiting time, this meal you are waiting should be really good - but they surprise you with greasy chicken skin and fat they call "chicken", horrible sauce, with rice served almost raw, they replace fortune cookie announced on the menu with horrible pink chips, and that sugary water they call "iced tea" (served without ice) - or, dear. Two clients left like me, after barely trying their food. Even one star is a very high rating. Their set lunch is a set up, never again
Well, when we sat the placemats were dirty with what seemed to be sweet chilly sauce, so we moved to an other table. I ordered fruit but I couldn't eat it because it smelled and tasted like strong garlic, so I got a new plate. I got a watermelon juice but they didn't strain it so when I took the first sip; it was all chopped seeds so I got a new one. The Tom yom soup had no salt, so we got some. The fried rice was super dry also. The assorted dumplings were ok but the sauce for the dumplings wasn't your best Thai sauce for dumplings. I got a miso soup but the spoon had an old dried probably full of saliva piece of cabbage stuck on it. I asked for Thai tea (the amazing one you have in Thailand) and it was so watered down I had to spit it out. It was like a glass someone left in the kitchen sink to wash it and then they decided to give it to someone to drink. I could go on but I don't wanna be too much. The manager however did try his best to accommodate us but it seems his staff is a an absolute disaster.
This restaurant is located right behind ADNOC Distribution HQ on Shk Zayed Street. It offers Thai, Chinese and Mongolian cuisine. Some Burmese items are also on the menu. Though the seating is rather limited, feels a bit cramped and the lighting could do with some softening, the ambience is quite pleasant. The menu has variety of options. The time required to serve is slightly longish but not too much so. Food quality is very good. Quantity is more than ample. Hence the 4 stars. Pricing is about average for this type of place - we paid about Dh 260/- for 3 persons. Definitely a place to recommend.
