Ruchi Restaurant

Ordered via talabat. The kerala paratha and ceylon parota were not at all good. The chicken roast wrapped in plantain leaf was not spicy and not tasty and also natural erachi was not spicy and not good. The chicken gravy made with coconut milk was good. Overall it was not to my expectation which I had about Ruchi. Biggest mistake was to try the ceylon paratta.

I ordered Butter chicken and Porotta.it did not come out well (chicken is not cooked properly & it is very salty) I didn't expect this from Ruchi restaurant

We had Onam Sadhya last week which was ok, but not good as what I had 5-6 years back. Both Palada & Parippu Payasam was below average. But all other Curries were good especially the pineapple curry & Aviyal.

Sometimes the behavior is that we went to eat the food they just give us.
Some of the foods that are similar to what you get outside will cost a lot more here

We had Onam sadhya (main) from this restaurant in August 2023. The food was good with quantity and quality as well as taste. They were giving dishes as per request as well. Good customer service. Easy to find location. Mawaqif Car parking space available but sometimes difficult to get.

I came from ajman for a visit o Saturday and ready wanted to have sadhya and kerala biryani i ever had.thank u chef and staff

Chicken roast highly recommended. Meals are average level & its overpriced. Restaurant seems very neat and clean.

Was a good experience in total.few dishes from their new menu was really delicious.
Like kadal kootu, kaduva konju, szechwan chicken, chemeen vada, chicken lollipop.

I had a kerala style meal And Mutton biriyani Tasty And it is worth for the price. Have a wide area outside seating facilities service need to be more organised. Getting parking nearby is little bit tight.

I ordered two dishes (30 Parotta & 15 Portion of Chicken Roast) with hot pot (for keeping food on little hot till serving) for a small get-together and the order was confirmed by the person attended the call @Ruchi Restaurant on 026792679 number by afternoon for the next day function and I received a call on night @9pm and the same person from Ruchi was asking more money for hot pot.and he is not even ready to hear from our side and was in a attitude like if you want.you should pay extra or else you can cancel the order.

Is this because they have more customers and orders?
Never ever expect this from Ruchi Hamdan branch.

DONT THINK RUCHI IS ONLY RESTAURANT IN ABU DHABI.
AND ANYWAY THANKS FOR THAT PERSON AS I GOT GOOD AND BETTER FOOD FROM OTHER RESTAURANT. With no extra cost!

Excellent kerala Porotta and Beef and good malabar Biriyani: Beef and Chicken. Good value for money.

The food was good and the service was also very quick and polite. In the time of covid cleanliness was up to the mark.

But the main problem is the parking if you are going for dinner. Almost the entire area of ​​one kilometer is for the residents after 9 PM. We tried before 2 times to visit here but not got the parking even 30 min search.

Tried their sadhya veg meal which is unlimited. Very good and tasty meal with great service. Meal is priced higher during weekends compared to same meal on weekdays

Food was really tasty and served on-time and even when I ask more, it arrives quick and not disappointing customer.
Also, waiter was friendly and suggest good items.

Ordered with very high expectations, as the name was very famous and heard lot of advertisements in fm stations, but disappointing taste of food, didn’t even have the half of the order all went to the dustbin

Delicious food and decent ambience. Though the junior staff can't differentiate between fish finger fry & boneless chicken fry, they are friendly and serve you with utmost respect!

Onam Ashamsheigal. Onam Sadaya from Ruchi Restaurant was awesome. Excellent packing. Really loved the way they handled. Traditionally gave Banana leaf as well. Overall thoroughly enjoyed.

The Onam sadya Was not that good.we had sadya from here 2 or 3 yrs back it was excellent. Now the quality is not that good

Worst experience with no accountability and not even courtesy to say the truth.
Ordered food at 1.15 for lunch and when I call back at 2.30 says the driver has left. At 2.45 when I asked about drivers number gave me a non working number. Again called back did not even bother to answer. Called restaurant from another number and after speaking to the manager who said the driver is not even picking his calls but still on the way. A bunch of lies by manager to the attendant. Food never got delivered!
No accountability or not even courtesy to say the truth.

Not recommended. In first floor too many flies are distributed. No one attended the complainant. Don't expect cool air unless you are under or very near to the split AC.

It was wonderful day to have dinner for my daughter birthday.
Well organized food event and staffs are well cooperated.

Tried their bhuna gosht and butter naan, the best taste so far from all of the restaurants I have visited. Very soft and delicious

Butter Chicken at Ruchi

This place is recommended by an Indian friend. I love an easy, delicious, straightforward dinner. It is now my go-to place for Indian food (I have been there twice this week as I just needed to cross the main intersection in Hamdan). The staff told me I should try their Beef Coconut Fry, too.:)

I went on the 14th of April to get Vishu Sadhya (Kerala New year Feast). This is the first time I tried Sadhya here and it tasted as expected. They have some repeated items with some slight changes so that was a little disappointing else the taste is good. The Sadhya price is AED 35. I called the previous day to book and I am sure you can also call the same day early morning to book else there are chances that if you walk in the feast food might get over. They are organised and during your booking for the feast they will give you a token number verbally which you have to mention over the counter whe you visit to get your parcel. Waiting time is around 5 - 10 minutes.

The food here is good. The hospitality of the staff has to be worth mentioning.

Good for a one time dine in. I used to love their food from Madina Zayed branch. Food here in hamdan branch is just below average.

Ruchi was a trustworthy name in AUH not anymore. Ordered Reshmi Kabab and Kanthari chicken pollichath (No traces of Kanthari thoug. Worst I have ever had in AUH. No more from Ruchi

South indian tastes. Presentation is good. Place is clean. Prices are acceptable. Dining tables and chairs are for home use rather than in a restaurant.

Food was fine, servic ecould have been better. Overall we liked the ambience of the resturant. We went for lunch. Order took longer than what we were told but food was fine. Might go back again some other time

Ruchi, the name derived from a typical malayalam word which means "tasty".

A neat and clean restaurant which has many mouth watering delicacies in a reasonable cost.

Best restaurant in town for Kerala food. Very hospitable staff too. A cosy place to chill with friends and family.

Price structure is high when compared to other restaurants. Staff performance not upto to the mark. Food Quantity is ok but quality should improve when checking with their prices.

An indian restaurant which i have been visiting occasionally when i go to Abu Dhabi. Their food quality is good and price is on the not so high expensive side. Biriyani's are tasty. You may find it a little difficult to get car parking in peak hours like lunch time on weekends. The restaurant can seat a good quantity of people. So you can get seated as soon as you enter there. No waiting for seats. They have upstairs dining area as well.

Average restaurant.
Previously I had lunch from here (Kerala meals), For the curries of kerala meals they are using a lot of oil, curries also not good comparing to the same other restaurants.
This time I have ordered Kerala porotta and beef fry which is very tasty and recommendable.
For the Kerala Meals this restaurant is not at all recommended.

I go for breakfast to this restaurant. They serve good south Indian food and amazing Mango shake!

At the very first time I visited Abu Dhabi and I didn't have so much idea about this country. And What was the bad thing about me I am pure vegetarian so on the very first day I was looking for a lot of places to eat something vegetarian but I couldn't then I finally found Ruchi restaurant which serve both vegetarian and non vegetarian. After seeing the menu I was really happy because it has naan, Dal makhni, paneer tikka masala, Raita, etc. Means they have all the dishes of vegetarians which is really tasty and fantastic. Then I regularly used to go this restaurant for the dinner. I was completely satisfied with this restaurant and their food. Their services are well maintained and they provided everything to their customers. They have discipline environment. The chef and the workers are really good. Happy with this restaurant so much.
In my life whenever I go to Abu Dhabi I will definitely go to this restaurant and have my breakfast, lunch and dinner surely. And I recommend to all the people please go there and experience it.
