Sahar Restaurant

I was visiting from London and craved nihari. This place certainly lived up to its reputation. We came back for a second meal. The prices are very cheap considering the quality of the food! It was lovely to see many Pakistani families dining here, which is a testament to the authenticity of the food.

Food was good, seating place for bachelor customers on upstairs, which is quite strange.
We order chapli kabab and chapti with channa masala, food quality is ok, quantity is little bit less (but exceptable).
overall atmosphere and cleanness was good.lot of parking spaces available near the restaurant.

Very good and very clean Pakistani restaurant with good food. I tried their Nihari, and no doubt it was awesome and everything was just right. The meat, the gravy, the spices and the khamiri rotti. Really good taste and highly recommended. Channay was also good and their chicken handi was also superb. Overall, it was a good experience and value for money.

I ordered two of the Desi dishes (Salan) here. I hadn't found both of them fresh dishes; however, one of the dishes was spoiled and was giving a sour taste. Therefore, I went to the restaurant to make a complain about this one, but they denied to accept it as spoiled and said, "it's a fresh dish".

Sorry to say but it was really a bad experience with this restaurant.

Sahar is a go to restaurant in Abu Dhabi. Very old and famous restaurant. Their Nihari is top class, one of the best in Abu Dhabi. Recently tried their Karahi n BBQ, which was good. Even their Roghni Roti - a must try. They have snack trolleys as well, so you have Cholay chat, Dahi bhallay n others.

Another good choice to treat your self a good Pakistani flavor. They really need to work out over their ambiance and visibility.

You can find all types of Pakistani food with fresh bread chapati in less price.
Break fast is not available since they are providing late night services.
Car parking area is very crowded, it's better to park car where ever you find the parking slots.

Nice pakistani cuisine, double story! Veg and Nonveg favourite, chicken and mutton keema is level. Daal is good. Seprate space for family.

Food is average. Normal pakistani foods.if u don't know hindi don't go there. There is waiters and every one know hindi or urdu only. I had bad experience there. We ordered one they prepare invoice one. I questioned with waiter he was very angry. Indian cashier enquire and returned the money.

Loved it. The tandoori roti was also very nice (had a wholemeal feel to it). But be aware, it is a bit spicy

They have cockroaches everywhere in the “family dinning area”. The food tastes ok but there is no attention being paid to cleanliness and hygiene. Pathetic!

The place is extremely unhygienic and the staff needs to be changed.
I think the staff is not interested to work.
Worst staff service.the owner doesn't care how the staff is working in his absence.

Very bad experience from the restaurant. I called them for a delivery but they responded very rudely.

The food is good taste is good but the problem with family sitting area is that all the smoke or BBQ comes in family sitting area.

Amazing food! Great taste we usually order Chicken Bihari boti, kebabs with paratas and Nihari.

I used to eat mutton stuo from this resturnat. Overall food taste is very good. Parking is big issue especially in night time. Resturant is quite cozy but have good variety of pakistani food with nice taste.

It is good but i feel they don't have to change the items such as malae boti i eat last time and was extra malae and seems like something melted

Ambience was really good and food was really good especially nihari and beef kabab. I must encourage to try.

Non professional staff.
Specially cashier indian guy doesn't have manners how to talk & pakistani delivery guy who talk like manager's. Management should give them training at least. It was really very bad experience with them. Food is fine but staff is non professional.

Cockroach found in chick peas. Its 21: 50 hrs 27th Mar 2019. Bought take away parcel 20 mins before. Not hygienic.

Sehar is famous for its Nihari and believe me you won't regret going there with hot naan. Simply nostalgic experience

Food and there taste is great specially nehari but I wouldn't recommend it for a dinning experience. For a good Pakistani restaurant I would recommend it if it's a take away.

Used to be much better but the atmosphere has become too smoky after the introduction of BBQ and no proper ventilation. Moreover, the parking is a huge issue when visiting this restaurant!

One Sentence for the Restaurent. " Its a Home in Town" Delicious Food. Great atmosphere. Nihari is the speciality along with Bar B Q and Biryani, Pasanday and Qoftay. Try every thing.i bet you wont regret. Good Luck.

Bad experience, i orderd Mutton karahi in lunch but they gave something else which was clearly not mutton karahi & it was sweet & taste was not good.

Food is good but there is Soo much smoke as the kitchen is in front of dinning place it's better to sit up stairs
