Salam Bombay Vegetarian Restaurant

It was a Friday evening so quite rush there. Not THE BEST place for vegetarian indian food. It was okayish. Taste was good but quantity not much.

Good ambience and very neat and tidy to enjoy your meal with family or friends.
Most importantly a authentic vegetarian restaurant which serves Jain food as well. I ordered lacha paratha, navaratna khurma and Manchurian curry. Lacha paratha was not upto the mark and was little over baked. The curries were above average. But didn't meet my expectations, as I went there on my friend s recommendation and expected too much. In total just above average and priced normal.

Salam Bombay is an Indian vegetarian restaurant serving lip smacking street food from Mumbai as well as north Indian food. It also has south Indian items such as Idli, dosa, uttappam, etc.and few chinese varieties.
For Breakfast Puri bhaji, chole bhature, Stuffed Paratha are good.
For snacks sandwiches, burgers, idli, dosa, vada pav, samosa pav, pav bhaji are good.
Their chaat items like Paani puri, sev puri, Dabeli, pakoda, bhel puri, raj kachori and many more items will spoil your taste buds and tempt you to have more.
They have very good hot soups.
In the main course try their thali.
If you want to try something else, try frankie, kebabs, tikkas, biryani, pulao.
A must try items are Batata vada, paani puri and pav bhaji.
Misal pav is ok but the curry does not exactly match with what we get in Mumbai.
They also have Falooda, fresh fruit juices, sweets and desserts to end your meals on a sweet note.
The preparation and quality is good.
The serving staff is prompt and attentive.

Perfect place to have Bombay vada pav.

Timings are not updated here. We went at 10: 45 PM (closing time 11: 30 PM) and they could not serve us.

Very good food. They specially prepared Jain food for us. Service was a bit slow despite low crowd in restaurant.

My wife wanted to have panipur and Salam Bombay was the nearest in search.
If you are looking for a vegetarian restaurant in AbuDhabi and looking for gpod taste serene ambience and genial serving staff. This is the perfect place.

Very clean restaurant in nice neighboRhood. Food is amazing and they have great food selection. The staff is very kind and caring.

Not worth for money.paid 40 for maharaja Thali, but I don't think it's sufficient for school kid's.i never experienced this from past 3 years

I went after 4 years of my first visit to Salam. Definitely the quality gave gone down but the way they asked the feedback to improve the quality and taste, makes it the best service.

Will visit again to add more feedback to their menu.hopefully will get the same quality and taste as it was before 4 years.

Today I ordered Chole bhature and Paneer paratha from here.
The chole was very good with creamy texture but I feel that it may could be little more soft. Bhature was good tooo.
Paneer paratha was very nice. Stuffing good amounts of paneer.
Packaging also ok.
Overall good food and price seem reasonable.

Best Indian restaurants in Abu Dhabi, they know real meaning of Spicy when it comes to Indian food which is really hard to find in Dubai.

Mumbaikars in Abu Dhabi swear on this place for vada pav. You'll get them fresh in the evening from 6-9 just go and have it if you miss vada pav alot. And if you're a mumbaikar you will miss it.

MARCH 2021 i am here again with my family. The waiters remembered what we ate last time, everybody is very kind and helpful. 5 stars deserved maybe 10‍️

My experience in Najdha branch. Recently, staff behavior is not good. Also, food over priced. Last three years prices have more than doubled but the quality and quantity of food drastically gone down. Only few chat items are o.k. To order in case of emergency. A place to avoid unless you don't find a alternative.

Salam bombay is a good place for snacks however if you are from pakistan and likes typical snaks then its not a place for you because you will find the typical indian taste in there food. I am not saying that they have bad food but if you are looking for the typical pakistani taste then look for other option but there samosa is very tasty

Food is excellent, staff is good, and the location is outstanding.
It have many branches like Electra, musaffa and muroor. You will get the pure vegetarian food here with indian style, culture and atmosphere.
Dine-in facility is available here. And the timings from 8 am to 12 am.
The taste and variety always available.

I am one of the regular goers of this restaurant, but recent times both the food quality and service as well the behavior of the staff towards the customer is so changed toward good to worst.above all the price per quantity is do not match.ask about Chinese food the worst in the city.do never order Chinese food ever from this hotel everything is raw nothing cooked well and tasty is very far.price is very high.to the owner i would say please change the staff if u want to survive in the market for long.i definitely will never visit this hotel again unless there is noticeable change of faces in the restaurant.

Home away from home food. Tastey and hygienic food. Pocket friendly as well. The staff are very kind and good.

Perfect place for Indian food. Chai is awesome. Only drawback is they dont have normal water. You have to purchase it everytime.

Very bad experience we order schezwan triple fried rice, it was like cooked one hour before and served oven heated.

Food tasted really delicious. The waiters were very polite and kind.we had to go to this restaurant as an option.they were on verge of closing, but still took our order and served, as we rang up and informed them just 5 mins prior to our visit just to check if anything available still. The butter paneer masala, roti's, butter naan and poori - sabji was awesome.as a compliment we were given a plate of Jalebis, it was out of the world.we ordered 2 plates as a take away.

Salam Bombay is an Indian restaurant serving fast food and other vegetarian dishes. I had ordered Ghee Dosa, it was crisp and fresh but the Sambhar didn't taste good because of its sweet taste (typically Gujarati taste). The decor is normal and the service acceptable, nothing great. The prices are reasonable.

This place feels like Ghar ka khana (homemade food) The service is quick and easy, and the staff is super friendly. The interior gives all kinds of bollywood vibes (lol) The chai here is amazing. A must visit place for Indians if you're bored of eating uae's menu and miss Ghar ka khana.

Amazing place! Almost everything that I had was amazing! Their ghee roast masala doosa was phenomenal. Their pani pori was on another level.

Try their chana chaat as well! Don't forget their kulchi which is almost a greasy bread that is stuffed with extra-seasoned potato!

Poor Customer Service, in spite of waiting for 10 minutes table is given to someone else and in return they show shameless attitude. Quality is going down and not worth for the money paid.

Improve your service and customer centric focus.

Must try the vada pav, veg kofta, and the palak paneer. The service is brilliant as well.
However, the dhal makhani can be improved significantly.
