One of the most attractive places in AbuDhabi
Imagine that with only 25 AED you can ride a yacht and visit a very nice island and enjoy very tasty food there!

Boat start from yas bay. Nice place. Feel relaxed. Amazing. Must visit 1 times but visit at evening time don't be late.

Samaliyah Island is one of the 7 places which are part of PMAD - Public Art Manar Abu Dhabi.
The art installations are very attractive with enough focus on science behind those.
This place would be more enjoyable as they would find it more interesting.
The queue to get the ticket can get really long so plan abead to spend enough time to get tickets, wait for the boat and then walk in the island to enjoy the views.

Great experience for evening time
Boat picks you up from Yas Bay. Tickets see available there at Red Ticket Booth.
Cost is as follows: 2-10 years old - 10 AED, 11-60 years old - 25 AED, 60+ free of charge.
Total time you need for the round trip starts from 4 hours.
Once arrived at the Samaliyah island you will have to take 8-10 min walk to get to the first bus. If you are hungry or thirsty - grab something in the booths before hopping on the bus. That's the best option to go it there.
Bus gets you to the first walk, which takes 35-60 minutes, depending on how much time you want to spend in each location to take photos.
Second bus gets you to another location where you are supposed to have 10-15 min walk. Then bus gets you to the boat to return to Yas Bay.
We loved installations a lot! Great experience and visual pleasure.
Even it is easy to find some soft drinks and snacks at boat and island, it is not prohibited to take your own.

Artworks are good
If you have kids avoid going because a lot of waiting, walking, bus change, boat change it’s totally around 5+ hours commitment. I wouldn’t suggest.

Unfortunately disappointed by the organisation for Manar Abu Dhabi in Samaliyah Island. The timings are very inconvenient, we waited too long to go onto the boat and to leave the island. We had a child that became very disturbed and cranky by the end of the trip.

With Manar Abu Dhabi - The Public Art, the art work amaaaazing and really help people to explore different hidden Islands in Abu Dhabi.
It worth to remain longer than a month and a half.
The ticket only 25 dhs which is very little to the whole experience of getting the boat yo the island and using the bus in the island taking us through different spots
