Best tasting dosas with delicious chutneys. Ghee roast dosa is my son's favorite. It's Huge size, loaded with ghee and very much sufficient for one person. Mysore masala dosa is must try. The chutneys are the best here. Fresh orange juice was refreshing. Poori sabji is awesome too.
One of the best idli and onion uttapam that I have ever tasted. The tomato chutney was also unbelievable. I have eaten in many places in India as well as around the world but this uttapam was something else. Furthermore, the ambience by the carnatic music made it even more serene and heavenly
Ordered Hot and Sour soup for my daughter.the cashier told it will take 15 minutes. When I went to pick up after 15 minutes the order wasn't ready. They gave the order after 30 minutes with raw vegetables in the soup. It was not as usual
If I had an option I would have given zero for the kind of service they provide. The way they serve food with so much of attitude and disdain for the customers is so appalling, given the exorbitant price they charge.
Was out shopping in Madinat Zayed mall and at the end of it were looking for some food options. Decided for Sarvanaa Bhavan. Had been in various branches all over the globe for the upmpteenth time, trying different foods so this one wasn't out of ordinary. Tried Masala, ghee paper roast dosas and utappam, mushroom soup was yummy, also tried out some juices. All in all ok experience, could have been better. Services were bit lacking as they seemed preoccupied. Rating -3/5 WIR - Probably, as its got too much competition
In my experience of eating at Saravanaa Bhavan from probably the early 2000 in Karama, it was the first time, an order made through Deliveroo, there was a strand of hair in the Masala Dosa. Awful!
My colleague and I, were shocked beyond belief to see the same. The order number is 6176 and received on 28th September. You guys need to get your act together and I'm sure, that's the least your loyal customers could expect. Not posting any photos.
But the food is usually tasty but this lapse in hygiene can be a spoiler.
Veg restaurant located inside madina zayed shopping center food court.tried most of their dishes all are delicious neat and clean place to enjoy good food.their spl thali comes with roti or puri n unlimited rice, chat’s are also delicious.dosa’s are must try For more plz follow my instagram @munch_freak
We had been there to have lunch which is at Madinat Zayed mall. No crowd and hardly found people over there. Waiter was very friendly and food served on time. It is pity to see the tables empty. As usual good and quick service.
I visit Saravana Bhavan Restaurant at Madinat Zayed Shopping Complex with my family yeaterday (21May 2021) and enjoyed Adaaviyal. It was very tasty. I really enjoyed the hospitality of the staffs.
Mussafah Shabiya-9 branch is much better than this branch, I didn't feel the freshness of our own south Indian meals which normally served in banana leaf which was missing here in this branch. I will never visit again this branch.
This place is great for South Indian options. Service is good and place is neat. Note the bill might be tad on higher side, but I'm sure you'll enjoy the food better.
Clean, neat and a lovely feel about Sarvaana Bhavan in Madina Zayed Mall. Our server was a Tamilian gentleman (whose name I forgot) but he served us at 1030 am on 26th Jan. We were seated on a corner table. He was warm, affectionate and super sweet. The food was on point. I would recommend the Medu vada, idly and ghee roast. Brilliant food. I did feel I was back in Chennai. Special mention for thier lovely chutneys and our server gave multiple refills. The bill was 75 dirhams for two which was, a little pricey for a simple south Indian breakfast but worth every spent for the hospitality and standards of sanitization.
It's a nice place with decent food. Bit expensive for a South indian food. Currently it Madinat Zayed Abu Dhabi branch is closed since for past more than one month however musaffah branch is still operational.
My only stop for south indian food will be this place. They have got varieties of dosa's and other south indian food. Not to mention this restaurant is purely vegetarian.
It is very famous chain of south indian restaurant spreaded across the world but I personally could not found anything extraordinary in this restaurant. It serves pretty average south indian delicacies but you can visit one time.
Welcome to the authentic South Indian food! Great taste, nice place and big restaurant, friendly staff. And doesn't even pinch the pocket! Do try fleet Filter coffee the authentic South Indian coffee and the aroma is wow!
I have tasted food of same name brand in 3 countries and with heavy heart I must say, I didn’t like the taste of the food in here. It’s nothing like what I had expected. Dosa, chutney, pav bhaji or puri for that matter! Food taste should really really improved here. To be frank me and my husband both are disappointed. Yes, only coffee is awesome here.
A good place to eat out. Food tastes good, well known for its south Indian delicacies. The staff needs to be increased at peak times and communication could be a problem as neither English or Hindi is well understood by them. Rest apart a great place.
A brand that became a real international brand from a village backdrop. It's a nice place if have a taste bud for South Indian dishes. The Dosa, Idli, upma etc. Ooohhhhh. Burst that flavors in ur mouth. Don't forget to finish that journey with their mysore pak made of different flair like pure desi ghee, milk and even fancy chocolate flavor.
Waiters are bit reserved ppl. Most of the tables are out of service and tagged with reserved board whenever I visited. Management seems never bothered to customer comfort in sitting arrangement specially customers with families.
Paneer dosa. Simple but delicious. All items here are the real thing and it's setting in Madinat Zayed Mall makes this a genuine experience not to be missed. Walking through the Mall is a quintessential Abu Dhabi experience.
Very nice dosa for a good price. The service was friendly and attentive. Place itself clean and tidy, which is not always a case in restaurants around the area. Truly south indian vegetarian restaurant, famous for the traditional madras filter coffee!
If you want good South Indian food on the cheap, this is the place to go to. However, don't expect any frills. This is purely a no-nonsense, sit-eat-pay-go place.
Food is good but could definitely do with a lot of work on the cleanliness front.
A celebrated name with a history of great glory, Saravana Bhavan in the capital city of UAE is a wild blow on the fame. With a very unprofessional crew and a terrible attitude this restaurant imposes a second thought, regardless of how hungry you are. I say: why to pay for some attiturian restaurant. By far, we are not out of choices.
I feel this outlet has lost charm over the years. Food is not so tasty as it was. Staff ate just doing a formality of attending you. Hope I had enough of Saravanabhavan.
