My family and I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the magic of Christmas at Simsim Saadiyat Rotana Resorts and Villa in Abu Dhabi. Despite not having a reservation for the Christmas brunch and being initially informed of the fully booked status, our festive day took an unexpected turn for the better, all thanks to the incredible team at Simsim Saadiyat.

Upon calling the restaurant and explaining our situation, we were fortunate enough to be connected with Mr. Mahmoud Harb, the Room Service Manager. Mr. Harb not only went above and beyond his role but demonstrated genuine care and hospitality. Despite the challenges posed by an overbooked venue expecting 850 guests, he took the time to explore alternative options and recommended Turtle Bay Bar for lunch.

Our arrival at the hotel marked the beginning of a truly enchanting experience. We were warmly greeted by Raoul, who, through sheer determination, managed to reach out to Mr. Anouar, the Restaurant Manager. Witnessing the impeccable teamwork unfold was awe-inspiring, and Mr. Anouar's decision to accommodate us with a fantastic table of three reflected his commitment to guest satisfaction.

Throughout the brunch, Mr. Anouar's attention to detail and professionalism were evident. He took extra care to ensure our experience was nothing short of extraordinary, while Ms. Patience, our dedicated service staff, deserves special commendation for her attentive and anticipatory service. Our glasses were consistently refilled, and our needs were met with a warm smile, creating an atmosphere of unparalleled hospitality.

The diversity and mouth-watering quality of the food further elevated our Christmas celebration. Simsim Saadiyat's Christmas lunch was an authentic culinary experience where every dish was not only delectable but also readily available at our fingertips. The atmosphere was festive, and the ambiance added to the joyous occasion. Mr. Mahmoud Harb's personal involvement in our experience did not end with the initial arrangements. He made several visits to check on us, going the extra mile by personally escorting my daughters to meet Santa. It was a heartwarming gesture that made our Christmas even more memorable.

A colossal thank you to Raoul, who orchestrated the seamless transition, making the impossible happen. His efforts were instrumental in creating a Christmas miracle for our family. Witnessing the perfect symphony of the team at Simsim Saadiyat Rotana Resorts and Villa was a testament to their dedication to creating magical moments for their guests.

In conclusion, our Christmas brunch at Simsim Saadiyat Rotana Resorts and Villa exceeded all expectations. The exceptional service, delectable food, and the unwavering commitment of the team made it an unforgettable experience. A special mention to Mr. Mahmoud Harb, Mr. Anouar, Ms. Patience, and Raoul for their outstanding contributions. We are sincerely grateful for the Christmas miracle they crafted for us.

Beautiful restaurant with plenty of indoors and outdoors seating areas. Clean and food is really good. Service is amazing, thank you Laith for making our dinner special with your hospitality and professional service.

We made the booking at their online reservation for 630pm. We also call to confirm the booking. And now we are here, they say they are open at 7pm only. Google say 630pm open, their website say 630pm, but the staff here say 7pm. Who is lying?

And when they finally open, the staff don't even have our reservation details. They bring us to a table of 4 when we made a reservation for 6. At the door, the staff have no proper system to manage the guests. Absolutely poor standard for a hotel restaurant!

My recent visit to the Simsim Market Brunch was an absolute delight! This has to be one of the best brunches my family and I have ever tried. The highlight for me was the seafood selection. The lobsters, oysters, and mussels were out of this world! The sheer variety of dishes on offer was staggering. It felt like I was in an open market with the freshest of foods.

The live cooking stations added to the experience, and it was amazing to watch the chefs at work. The cuisine from around the world was represented, and the Asian station was my personal favorite. The Peking duck was cooked to perfection, and I couldn't get enough of it.

The house beverages and bubbles were fantastic, and the staff were attentive and friendly. I would definitely recommend the Simsim Market Brunch to everyone. If you're a seafood lover like me, this is the perfect brunch spot for you!

Iftar at Sim Sim

Not new to Saadiyat Rotana but it’s been a while we went in here, the last time being right after the pandemic times ended, when we had a fabulous staycay here! So we definitely acted a little “touristy” and checked around and clicked pics like tourists ️️, especially with the turtles ️

This property has one of the most fabulous beaches in Abu Dhabi! Probably time to get back here for another staycay.

However we tried their lavish iftar last week and it was one of its kind and one of our favorites this Ramadan!
An Extensive buffet showcasing the finest selection of Middle Eastern, Moroccan, Indian, Emirati dishes including lamb ouzi, fresh roasted fish, kababs, live Turkish & Emirati station, a salad section where you can find oriental & Moroccan flavours.

And, this is probably the largest dessert section I have seen this year at Iftars around Abu Dhabi! A large selection of Arabic and International desserts was a perfect way to end our lovely evening.

The fresco dining is fabulous! The weather was perfect and the iftar lights and decor spot on!

A must try Iftar! Highly recommend!

Been here a few times for the Saturday buffet. The bbq lobster & caviar is worth it. The Moet champagne tops it. Wife's favourite.
The ice cream dessert is YUMMY, pure cream and undiluted. I myself had 5x ice cream cones.

The only food I am looking forward with the Market Brunch is the Foie Gras but still they are the BEST BRUNCH in UAE! Highly recommended!

I tried the breakfast buffet here as a guest and it has been nothing less than a perfect time.
The variety of foods makes you find something definitely l, no matter what your preferences are.
The baristas are very skilled and the coffee great.

Ambience of the restaurant is great with plenty of sittings outdoors in the gardens and all the staff were very attentive during the whole dinner. We tried the buffet where food quality and taste was excellent with many choices for the salads and mains. The brisket was excellently cooked and delicious.
Only comment that the cheese platter selections should be more taken care off.
Big selection of desserts that we could not resist as all looked so nice and were so tasty.will go again and recommend without doubt.

Sim Sim is an exceptional Brunch! The choice of food is trully outstanding. A bit pricier than others but you definitely get what you pay for. The staff and service is outstanding. We went for the Halloween brunch which was fabulous. Highlights for me where the sushi, beef Wellington and the Mexican Court that also had a pasta area. Great brunch for foodies.

We realised while paying that Brunch buffet is not applicable on entertainer. Eventhough it is not mentioned in the app excluded terms & conditions. Only thing was clearly mentined as excluded is the Friday Brunch, whilst it was Saturday.
Manager was not helpful he said we we will make sure it is mentioned in the future which didn't help. Not recommended at all!

Went for the indian night buffet dinner with family for a birthday occasion. Sadly food quality and spread was average. Chef behavior was unprofessional too.the staff serving us was quiet warm n helpful I think name was Abdul he did try his best and save the day. Food far below expectation and could be better

Had a corporate buffet dinner, the varieties were awesome, but the assistance level can be improved.

Brunch was great, but their customer service is just so bad. Good luck to anyone trying to call them. Half the time you get cut off. I've given up trying to book here. Such a shame they invest in a great brunch but can't be bothered to train staff to answer the phone.

We were very pleased with our decision to sit outside. The cool summer night breeze amped the whole ambience experience. The staff were very attentive, friendly & pleasant. Especially with this c19 protocol for buffets, where it's the food attendant putting the food on your plate.

There ARE many more choices like Indian mains, Tikkas, curries, kebabs, fish, etc.

The star of the Iftar for me was the LAMB OOZY!

The taste was exquisite, the fat was perfectly cooked melt in your mouth goodness. I've had meh to bad lamb before where the meat was so chewy & the fat gelish. Simsim's was perfection. For me, at least. And on THAT night. There were plenty of other dishes but we weren't able to taste everything.

I did have some fish & salad, which were good, too. Oh, I did have a mixed meat kebab. Delicious, as well. For drinks, we had the very refreshing Sharab Tamr Hendi (Tamarind drink). Every sip had subtle layers to it: the rose taste, the saffron-like hint finishing with that tamarind sweetness. A very balanced cool drink, indeed. We capped the night with Baklavas & Kunafa.

The latter, though, I thought wasn't as good as I had hoped it would be. Not as cheesy, moist & tasty as one would expect from a good Kunafa. Moroccan tea accompanied our conversation as we relished the last moments of our very cool nice summer Iftar by the beach.

The Market Brunch at Sim Sim is by far the best Friday Brunch in Abu Dhabi.

The sheer variety is mindboggling and the taste exceptional. The outdoor seating is absolutely stunning

Good variety of beverages that included, hot and cold drinks along ramadan special juices.
Not a very good variety of international cuisine, mainly arab themed food. Only 1 live station of Saj. Desserts were also limited but tasted good, more of arab centered.
Was expecting bit more considering their brunch variety and being 5* restaurant.
Ambiance_Nice setup for outdoor seating, since the weather was pleasant. Indoor was nice too.

Beautiful brunch with too many options. The seafood selection was outstanding. We enjoyed the variety of salads and dim sum and bao buns as well. Nothing stood out with the desserts, but by the time we arrive at the end of the meal we were so full of everything else.
The staff's friendliness was commendable and when we had too much sun on our table kept an eye out for the first shaded space we could move to.

Hands down the Best Brunch in All of Abu Dhabi, all others pale in comparison. Quality is 5 stars keeping up SimSim

So today I can to breakfast and they are really fast! I just want to say they the chef did an amazing job! The classical music was amazing and refreshed my mind! And the details were beautiful, and this pancake was like my fav and also the taste of Arabia and I tasted every single dish and the juice was so fresh and he took me to Paradise. SimSim by far is the best brunch now in Abu Dhabi, and i tried them all! It is luxurious and quality of food speaks for itself, check the pictures and the videos i uploaded as well so you can have an idea what it is all about! Service is very good, staff are attentive, friendly l, smiling and most importantly that they are really fast, i opted for the soft beverages (Non Alcoholic) package which covers any soft drinks you like hot or cold, desserts are good, and the kids station is sufficient (Nuggets, Mac and cheese, fries) along with a dedicated Pasta station on It's own! Solid five stars for the second visit, i visited last month and quality consistency is on spot!
