Sushi was fairly good, but service was not. I explicitely asked if I could get 2for1 on platters, to which they answer that yes, which was not true at the moment of charging

Prawn Noodles, dynamite shrimp and crab salad are spectacular and super tasty. 100% recommend. We ordered sushi and it was not the best!

Cozy restaurant. Not so crowded. Reasonable prices for nice food quality. They have 15% fazza discount which is nice.

Food was so delicious. I had the green Thai chicken curry. Would highly recommend. Chicken katsu sushi was very tasty too

Really great thai restaurant, I love to go there, you can use Wednesday discount btw but any day is good for an amazing green curry:)

Awful service not because of the waiters but the lack of staff at kitchen to prepare the orders.

Went there during 40 percent discount day, and were looking sushi chefs fulfilling on line orders for one hour before I got my order. On the positive note, food is very good and I got complementary sushi roll from manager with the apology for very long wait.

Smoking doll at Boutik mall in Reem island is a melting pot bringing varied Asian cuisine strecthing from Chinese, Thai, Japanese, Malaysian and Viatnamese to one table.
The ambience is vibrant and the open kitchen adds to the liveliness.
The staff is very friendly particularly Jeric deserves an appreciation for his personal attention while serving.
The Tom yum soup justifies its tangy and hot & spicy taste. The Som Tum Goong Papaya salad was fresh and crunchy. The Viatnamese rolls were crisp with fresh carrots, prawns and vermicelli rolled in rice papers.
The doll roll maki sushi was tasty and the wasabi straight away hit my brain nerves and nostrils.
Pad See Ew noodles were full of flavours.
The Thai green curry with Jasmine rice was heavenly.
The Siam Mantra and Gentleman drinks were refreshing.
The chicken satay was delicious, Pad Thai noodles were tasty and Panang prawns curry with Jasmine rice was an absolute delight.
The service is efficient and portions are fulfilling.
Suggest to add Korean and Indonesian cuisine to the menu which would make the oriental fusion complete.
If you want to enjoy authentic oriental delicacies on one plate then Smoking Doll is the place.

Only the problem. No AC in the restaurant. It's very hot. Cannot enjoy our meal.

Went for Wednesday 40% off night which is really good value. It's Asian fusion so a mix of Thai, Japanese & Chinese.
Really tasty food, good quality & decent sized portions. We tried some Curries, Wok dishes & starters, all really good.
My only criticism would be the temperature of the restaurant, which was hot & somewhat uncomfortable to eat in & some of the tables were a little too close together, not great for social distancing. Other than that I'd recommend a visit.

I ordered such it arrived as shown in the picture it was work with almost just Rice and tasted wired, I will never order again from them

Peaceful restaurant and delicious sushi! We used entertainer here and it was worth it. I like the noodles in the picture, huge servings to be shared by 2 but we still took the rest for take away because it was buy one take one️

dynamite shrimps was okay, i was disappointed with the beef noodle (didn’t take photo) but still not bad at all.they have unlimited sushi every sunday! We will come back for sure!

The customer service was perfect so as the food. The food came on time and Wajid (who was our server) was perfect and gave it all in time and perfectly… AMAZING!

This place is a must go to. Great food for the price point. And lovely staff. Have to mention that Ravi the manager was really genuine and their service is exceptional. Will definitely come back again.

We had a very delightful experience with smoking doll as always. We love the authentic asian taste and the servers are very accommodating and pleasant especially Ms. Kamala who is always attentive and has a very great smile that you can see through her eyes. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience.and great food. Our favorite are their selection of curries, Sushis and satay.

Very good service by Jeric. Food was amazing as well but the entire restaurant was extremely HOT. Management should do something about the AC. I pity the staff.

The noodles were and crispy rice rolls were OK but the chicken sushi tasted better. They have a very lengthy menu which I don't like about any restaurant.

Menu has good variety (a bit larger than needed). We had great sushi and a curry. Would definitely go back.
2nd visit May 2021: great service by Von, attentive and helpful. Tempura prawns and squid were 5 stars, fantastic! Volcano sushi and green dragon sushi are also excellent. The mains we had were good, but the curry I had the first time was much better. We will definitely return again.

The worst food experience during my life in the UAE! Food not cooked properly, bad service despite more than enough staff members walking around the restaurant, poor complain management and mismatched value for money.my Korean bbq duck had nothing Korean and only fat and skin, my partner's seafood grill was almost raw and bone inside the squid, served with the wrong sauce. We ordered and received our order 30 min after, with no apologies or comment, we were almost laughed at when we complained as well. A disaster!

Very poor customer service and the food preparation is also not upto the standards compared to last year. Neither the female manager or any of the waiters are interested in taking your order or at least preparing the table for the customer. Won't be ordering from here again.

I ordered dumpligs and they were undercooked, you could see flour when I bit into them and they were hard, I threw them away. The second thing I ordered was mango sticky rice, funny enough rice, was one big mass stuck together, like gum and hard.

Terrible service. It doesn't matter how busy this place is the service is always extremely slow. Servers will look at you and literally walk past you to take the order of someone who sat down after you. We used to put up with the service because there are so few options around where we work but today we really had enough of being passed over for folks who came in after us. We got up and left. We were a party of 5 and we have no plans of going back.

The food in Smoking Doll is good (I would give 4 or 5 stars for the food alone). However the service is pretty poor (a generous 2 stars) and it is quite expensive. I would say if there is some kind of offer on it is worth a visit but go prepared for bad service.

Food took almost 2 hours to arrive. Waiter provided generous amount of complimentary food to the table but they also arrived when the main order came in late. Regarding the food, it was really tasty and good.

Good enough if you wanna quick fix on diff asian cuisines including thai, japanese and indonesian dishes. Pocket friendly promos available on weekends.

Salmon Tataki is just the one that I fallen for. With spicy miso dipping sauce, salmon tataki is so delish. But when it comes to Thai food, Smoking doll is failed. I had only sour taste in my tom yum soup. And there is no authentic taste of tom yum neither with Pad thai. Pad thai comes so plain and tasteless.

May be my fault but I don't like this concept. I am a lover of Asian food but not like this in very small portions and far too expensive for the type of service.

This asian cuisine restaurant has blends you wont find anywhere else. The scented curries will get you on your knees and they are great for sharing. Try the red and green. Their sushi is amazing. Its my favorite lunch place and often dinner. The staff are amazing and reflects their management. For Asian food connoisseurs go and indulge.

We had one of the sushi platters, stirfy noodles and some appetizer. We loved the fried squid and the food in general was delicious. Lovely place. Hope they will open one in Dubai soon.

Located in the Boutiq mall under Sky tower on Reem island, this Smoking Doll follows the same decor theme as the Nation Towers outlet. The staff is welcoming and the food very interesting. Chinese, Japanese, Thai influences. There are delicious curries and noodle dishes. A varied choice of juices and mocktails. There are all you can eat options for sushi. There is outside seating which I did not yet try. Overall a nice restaurant offering very tasty food along with friendly service.

The best place I could ever imagine. One of my close friend found this place on Zomato gold and we just had to try it. The dynamite shrimps and california sushi was mind blowingly perfecto! ️ Main course was brilliant and the spices was just on point.

Also a big shout out to Smoking doll for helping my friend make my day ️ I wasn't expecting a surprise and it was really sweet how they had them sing and the chef had the best cake presentation. The staff in charge was on his best and we would definitely come back here for more.

Food was very good I loved their chicken wings and pad thai. This a good place to have a good meal with your family and friends, I highly recommend it.
