My experience was bad and I will not deal with them again. They spend more than month and I don’t receive my cup when I contact them they don’t interest they only said they will contact me, but no one contacted me. They said that the machine is not working or my cup have a two layers, and they don’t even apologize about the situation and they don’t know how to deal with a customers.
We held a birthday celebration for my granddaughter here; our group of adults and children had a wonderful time either painting or working with clay, led by the very professional and accommodating young Syrian woman (unfortunately didn’t get her name hence why I’m identifying her nationality!) who was incredibly patient, especially with the youngest members of the family (aged 4/5/6). The studio is light and airy, very conducive to artwork and designed extremely well. Bathroom facilities and a hot drink station add to the general atmosphere nicely. A great place for anyone wishing to try this artwork for the first time or for the more experienced. Would love to return!
I booked for my daughters birthday party and overall the experience was amazing for both for the kids and adults. The place was really pretty and comfortable to stay in. The staff is very friendly and cooperative with everyone, They even helped us with decorating the place. It isn’t my first time coming and definitely won’t be my last.
I highly recommend going to Coe.the place is beautiful, when you walk in you feel yourself immediately relaxed and inspired. For classes with a wheel and a teacher, you must call to book a spot and it is important to keep an eye on their social media because they announce special classes with certain holidays and have different experiences with surprises. We loved the Chinese new year class, we painted a ramen bowl
Beautiful space but the experience could’ve been better. The instructor kept asking us questions about pottery and clay throughout the session, and I felt like I was being quizzed. It sucked the fun out of the session.
We also only received a call and a message to pick up our pieces months after our session. Employees there claimed they tried to contact us. NOT true. And that if we don’t pick them up by x date they’re going to trash. And that’s exactly where our pieces ended up.
I was going to abo-dhabi for a vacation, my friends told me about this place…. I really loved the experience, the place and the staff…. They were too professional and very welcoming and I had a great day there…
Experience was already bad before even getting there! I booked a class for my friends and I a week ahead, the lady at the reception confirmed the availability for the wheel throwing for all 5 of us. Fast forward to a day before our class I called to check how long the class will take only to be surprised that the lady didn't even book the class in the first place! I tried to book another class but the lady was not helpful at all she kept contradecting herself by saying yes there is availability to no we're using all wheels for production. We kept going back and forth to find a suitable timing and figuring out the availability of the wheels but because the lady was unhelpful and confusing I got frustrated and ended up not booking for anything. I'm glad I called because we would've driven all the way there for nothing
Lovely staff and cosy atmosphere. We surprised our friend for her birthday and it was perfect.everyone was so cooperative and helpful and she had a blast! Highly recommend the place!
I had a great experience with my son in a family pottery session. He's only 5 years and loved the class, teacher, place and all the team was really kind with him.
I highly recommend coming here, but you should reserve a spot. They have three different sessions one with a machine for 210 DHs, the session will take around one hour and 45 minute. The second session with hands for 210 DHs. The third one is like you take apiece and paint it.
I did not appreciate the tone nor the attitude that I received on the phone before attending as well as reaching. I hoped that they would be more accommodating and welcoming but it did not feel that at all. Even though I spoke calmly and suggested a better alternative to avoid these mistakes in the future, (so that I would possibly come another time) but unfortunately this incident was blamed on me when I wasn’t given any clear instruction on the phone beforehand. Especially in our culture where we praise hospitality and highly value it. The environment felt cold even though it was well decorated. I would hope they would take this into consideration and pay more attention to customer service before dealing with their customers in this way.
Love the place and interior but it was the worst experience to be honest, the instructor was not patient at all and the way she was explaining everything was like she was forced to do it, which made the class awkward she literally sucked the fun out of it. Would have rathered my money going to a place worth the experience. The attitude was not worth it:).
One of the worst experiences ever! Yes the place might look nice and all, but the instructors don’t give you any creative freedom. I barely touched my clay and too add more to that it took more than two weeks for them to contact me and my friends for our piece (all our pieces ended up looking the same) I’m not gonna even go back to paint piece.:)
Expensive horrible experience. I went to the intro class, it cost me 500 dhs and it was two hours long. The class ended up taking more than two hours and the instructor wasn’t friendly. At the end of the 3+ hour session we made a 4 cm by 3 cm, I wanna say coin holder? I’m not sure. Colossal waste of money and time. Don’t go.
Amazing place, even better experience! The classy chick setting, the first quality equipment, and the prime experience imparted by the instructors make Studio Coe the best place for your induction or continued work in ceramics. Well done!
