The Abu Dhabi EDITION

I loved it.
Our stay was thoroughly enjoyable - due in no small part, to the amazing people who work at the edition.

We didn't have even one negative interaction and everyone made us feel so warmly welcome. From the kind gentlemen at the door, to Jess, Thelma, and Sallah at the front desk to the fantastic Malvern, Priyanka and everyone else at the restaurant (I wish I could remember all their names!)
There was also James, and the great gentlemen in engineering.

As regards the property itself, the location, views and overall ambience and styling are beautiful. There is a 24 hour store just down the road, restaurants on site, (I loved the A la carte breakfast) and lots of coffee shops everywhere you look. We thoroughly enjoyed walking on the Marina.

I wanted to take a moment to share my ongoing positive experiences with Edition Hotels. Whenever I am outside of my city, Edition Hotels is always my top choice for accommodation

Edition being my favorite Marriott brand, I couldn't wait to stay at The Abu Dhabi EDITION.

We arrived later in the evening and were greeted with friendliness when checking in. As a cherry on top we received a complimentary upgrade to a room with Marina view. The receptionist also proactively offered us a late check out at 2.00 PM the next day - this gave us plenty of time for a great breakast and some down-time by the pool before checking out.

From the moment you walk into the hotel you smell the wonderful scent of "Le Labo Thé Noir" which I am absolutely addicted to.

The room was very spacious and nicely decorated, the bed very comfy and the bathroom is equipped with both rain shower and stand-alone bathtub and stocked with all those wonderful "Le Labo" ameneties.

Definitely will stay here again when in Abu Dhabi.

Nice, modern hotel located conveniently. We stayed there for 2 nights.

Pluses:
- As Marriott platinum members we received a few nice benefits, such as coffee+pastry of choice, and a room upgrade. We enjoyed both upgrades thoroughly
- There's quite a large variety of restaurant options. We didn't try all the restaurants, but the cafe downstairs was lovely, and we enjoyed our coffee breaks there. If that's not enough there's quite a lot of cafes in the vicinity - coffee places, breakfast options etc.
- Rooms are functional and have everything you need. A bit too minimalistic for my personal liking (hence 4 stars) as I like to have a more cozy feeling, but you really get all the elements you'd expect. And let me tell you.their bathrobes are the softest, cosiest bathrobes I've ever tried on - just perfect to cozy up in and watch a nice movie. Additionally, we enjoyed balconies in the room overlooking marina.

Minuses:
- Swimming pool is quite small - we didn't come there for the swimming pool hence it didn't affect my rating, but if you look for a swimming pool/beach access hotel this is not it

A refreshing new upscale hotel. Great vibes, warm, friendly welcome. Love the candle settings and relaxation of the lobby.

Pool area very relaxing. Great music. Live dj Divine food and awesome cocktails.

Enjoyed the social spritzer very refreshing

I had a really great time. The staff were really amazing and honest. I actually forget ny aipods by the pool and they call me to retrieve them. I wish if the room has more decorations but this is only the taste.
Jalal was very helpful and very welocming when we first arrived.

My family and I had a staycation at The Abu Dhabi Edition in the weekend. The property is elegant and modern with good amenities. Our room was spacious with a balcony that had the view of the Marina. The property, the room, the dining options, gym, swimming pools, spa and the hospitality was amazing. We had a wonderful stay.

This is by far the worst Marriot hotel I've stayed at in the Middle East. And this is not my first stay here, and they're actually getting worse.
It is not acceptable that a hotel of its caliber to have a 15min check-in process (for a Marriot Bonvoy member who has also stayed at the hotel and checked in online), super slow service, an inefficient and incompetent laundry service that actually damages clothes (and offers express laundry for 2 items in return for damaged clothes:), extremely slow breakfast service at Market that also NEVER gets your simple order right [and same applies for the other restaurant Alba], a guest service line where you have a 50-50 chance of actually having someone pick-up the phone, glass windows that are not sound proof where if you want to sleep by midnight it is not possible because the restaurant below is having a party, an extremely small gym that lacks the basics (e.g, barbell), a small room service menu that is not really flexible, etc.
The saving grace is that the rooms are new and modern.definitely not enough to justify their prices.

Ebenso Italienisches Restaurant waren auch hier begeistert.
Lage am Yachthafen hat irgendwie nicht so viel zu bieten. Pool überschaubar aber freundlicher Service.

The worst hotel I ever stayed in UAE: Service, Food and attitude of the staff.

I almost finished my food for example, and they still didn't bring kids food. Poor children were waiting over 40 minutes, they even didn't bring any bread on the table.

In the bar we were waiting for someone to come and offer drinks. The table was super dirty. We asked to clean it after 15 minutes waiting. They rudely asked: " What do you want? " Unbelievable

Mid December - zero Christmas decorations

In the room we could hear how people flush water in the toilet in the nearby room.

And many more disappointing situations.

We book for 3 nights, but stayed only 1 night, changed to the different hotel and could no stopping be happier with that decision even after loosing money for 3 nights

Best service, not only in Abu Dhabi but all of the UAE. Amazing staff! Great breakfast. Best steak in the Middle East! Keep it up!

A very good experience overall. I divide my review into three parts. 1. Hotel and rooms: the hotel is stylish and modern.the equipment is upscale and noble.nothing is missing in the spacious rooms.the beds are very comfortable. 2.) Food and restaurants: We have seldom eaten so well.all three restaurants are highly recommended.all ingredients are fresh and of high quality.the prices are reasonable. 3. Personnel and guest care.the staff is very friendly and always ready to help. On behalf of all employees, we would like to thank Yuri from Mexico, on behalf of the Market Restaurant.at Chatarina from Greece, on behalf of the Oak Room.at Alin from Nepal, on behalf of the team in the Alba Terasse Restaurant.and of course at Klenthon on behalf of the concierge team.you are all doing a great job and are the soul of the Edition Abu Dhabi.

The place is state of the art, so classy. For now upon arriving they will ask for your Alhosn Application, so u need to have up to date application. Staff is so accommodating. We had a blast. Service is so fast. And highly recommended this place to visit.

My hat's off to this establishment. Well run, beautifully designed rooms, good food in both restaurants and room service and especially great housekeeping miles ahead of other hotels.

Alba terrace restaurant brunch lacks the variety and service you expect when you go for a weekend brunch at a five star hotel.drinks come very slow.like dont order too much and food goes.get stuffed with pizza bread.if you wnted pizza you would only go to pizza hut instead.you guys have to realize that customers deserve more!

One of the best hotels in Abudhabi. It’s a really nice getaway with friends or even family. I love the smell of the hotel every time i walk in. I enjoyed every second of it.

Service was poor waiters are not attentive and overwhelmed with the number of tables and orders to take, main courses came before the starters, when following up the manager has cancelled them. When asking for salt and paper they arrived in Paper bags. The quality of the buratta salad was not good at all and definitely not worth the price. The hotel is beautiful however the Alba restaurant is not a dinner place I would not recommend it. Quite disappointed with the service delivery.

Great place to celebrate our second anniversary … very welcoming staff and great room service.and the design of the places is so photogenic

In the beginning when we first arrived the staff were very welcoming and the check-in went very smooth, we loved every single detail about the hotel from the lobby to the room, when we were in the room we had a little incident so I went to the lobby and talked to the receptionist and they apologized about it so they offered us a late check-out then we went out, when we were out one of the managers in the hotel called me to apologize and to inform me that they left a gift in our room, the next day someone knocked on our door and it was also one of the managers in the hotel, she also apologized and gave us a small gift from the hotel, after a while we went out and when we got back we also saw a third gift from the hotel in the room, we loved the hotel from the first moment but after the incident we loved it even more and we now have so much respect to everyone working in the hotel, I think that I will never go to any other hotel in AbuDhabi, amazing service that we never experienced in any other hotel.

We stayed here for six weeks, in December, when we moved to Abu Dhabi. The staff were amazing and really accommodating, it was a lovely welcome to the country. We started in a serviced apartment and then moved to into a suite when our quarantine ended. The food is fantastic, I actively recommend the restaurants to people. I cannot stress enough how fantastic this hotel is.

Staff are accommodating and friendly.special thanks to Ms. Haya for taking care of us and my family.

فندق جميل ويستاهل خمس نجوم، الموقع ممتاز حيث يتوسط مارينا البطين وامام المارينا مباشرة، والنظافه ممتازه والتعامل راقي من الجميع، الكل يحاول تلبية رغباتك، الفندق جديد واثاثه فخم، سكنت في بريمير سويت مساحته كبيره يتكون من منطقة خدمة عند المدخل وصاله يوجد بها حمام وغرفة نوم بخدماتها حمام وغرفة ملابس، والبلكونه كبيره جداً على امتداد السويت من جهتين ولها بابين، باب من الصاله وباب من غرفة النوم، جميع الخدمات تشتغل بلوحات اللمس سواء على الجدار او بجانب السرير، بهو الفندق كبير جدا وجميل، خدمة صف السيارات ممتازه، الترحيب والابتسامه لا تفارق الجميع، واليكم بعض الصور.

We had quite a difficult experience however they later on gifted us with the grand suite due to the complications and it was such as delightful experience. Must say that this hotel to me it’s considered a business hotel for people who just come to Abu Dhabi for work or meetings this would be the right fid. Also breakfast is amazing and the staff is really kind!

Met friends for drinks then went down to the dance area. Good music, a little crowded but very popular. Had loads of fun.

Hip hotel and cool location. Modern design and spacious rooms. Breakfast is great, try their signature detox drink and avocado-egg. Young staff and friendly.

It’s one of the newest hotels in Abu Dhabi under Marriott Bon Voy, the rooms are very spacious and modern style. 100 meters from the hotel there’s a big selection of cafes and restaurants to choose from if the in-house restaurants are not enough for you. I did enjoy my extended weekend stay here

A recently opened hotel at Abu Dhabi.modern ambiance with modern decor. Friendly staff at reception. Good service in general. The rooms are spacious and super clean. The food at the hotel restaurants are delicious and well served. Has a little marina attached to the hotel.

The Abu Dhabi EDITION Hotel is a new hotel opened recently (on 1st November 2018) and it is the first Edition hotel in UAE and GCC.
Located in Al Bateen Marina the hotel offer almost 200 rooms. Currently the area is under development but the hotel is all ready for business.
The views are nice, the personnel is professional, supportive all the time and the food is delicious
I will recommend for weekends or for people travelling for business but also for people visiting UAE's capital.

Very attentive and friendly staff! I hope to visit soon. However i do not recommend the hair salon AT ALL! Ruined my hair.

It’s the best hotel in UAE, I can’t believe that I stayed 3 nights in a five stars hotel and I found that it is a real five stars because all other 5 stars hotels are only luxury building and furniture but all other hotels staff are not trained to work at 5 stars hotels, I used to face silly reactions and bad behavior staff at hotels but in the Abu Dhabi edition it just peeeeeeeeeeeeeeerfect

Loved the EDITION!

I’m going to let the photos explain how I’m disgusted of the cleanliness of the room. Keep in mind we booked the two bedroom apartment and when we called twice and sent someone to check he literally swiped the table and that’s it? ! As if I couldn’t do that myself? ! What sort of a solution is that! And when I complained while checking out they pretended to be shocked and that’s it! And the valet took about 20 minutes to bring my car although I called 10 minutes before so a total of 30 minutes to bring a car.
I’m very disappointed, I paid a fortune and this is what I get.

I absolutely loved the hotel and the friendliness of the staff. The hotel is located in Al Bateen Wharf with a verity of restaurants and coffee shops within few minutes walking. The room are tidy, clean and spacious with an interior design that is very minimal and relaxing. One issue that I had with my stay is that my room was located on the street side and it got noisy during late hours of the night with loud music outside, definitely didn’t have the best sleep that night. However, this is a great place and something different from other hotels in the country and I would recommend staying in the hotel for a night at least. Also the prices wasn’t that high so that’s a plus!

The hotel is the new hot spot in Abu Dhabi, very stylish, great service and nice spacious room. The bar next to the lobby is great and decent while the rooftop bar in the separate building is a real Gem esp.for some sunset drinks.
