The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal

Had a wonderful day at the pool along with my wife and daughters. The Ritz Carlton's "day guest" pass is good value and the staff where more than attentive. Will be returning.

Cleanliness and customer service was excellent, as you’d expect from 5-star hotel. However, I was surprised by how empty this hotel was! Probably it’s off season, but it felt deserted at most times.
They have created this “Venetian town” area, that had most doors closed with not much to see. And the canal was dirty and not suitable for swimming at all.
This is supposed to be a resort-like hotel with many activities to do, but honestly it felt dead and outaded to me.

We had a memorable 11 days, which we won't soon forget.
As soon as we arrive, we feel like we are in a movie (entrance hall under porch, valet, golf cart, etc.)

Just went there for lunch. Hotel is completely empty and such a waste of resources. Wish to be back in better weather.

The lobby and service (staff) is the only place that feels Ritzy. Rooms, halls, and elevators need a major update. We stayed in the venetian village, and although they were very grand and large, the halls and elevators smelled and felt 1 star motel-ish. The pool needs the loungers in the pool bc it's just too hot to sit in a chair poolside. Our room also didn't get cool enough while sleeping, but they said it's bc of the humidity outside is just too high. Breakfast was great, lots to choose from! They provide a ticket and woman's cover to the nearby Grand Mosque. Overall I did enjoy our stay at The Ritz carlton!

Amazing getaway, when I visited the ADIPEC I went to meet my clients from Azerbaijan there in restaurant for a dinner and it was my dream to come and spend sometime as a guest in the hotel

Coming from Dubai and spend weekend was the best idea we got in our mind and also my dream came true

The hotel worth the price

In general good service and always available on call, spacious clean lounge / lobby / dining area, quality food & many varieties are available for breakfast. Housekeeping neglected specifically inside rooms which may be improved by strict supervision only.

A few weeks ago we had our second stay at the Ritz and are still big fans of the Ritz Carlton Abu Dhabi.
Friendly staff, great food with lots of choice. We were also there for my birthday and I got cake in the morning and in the evening, very nice!

The location to the mosque is also great, but it's best to drive there in the heat.

It's a five star hotel that I can recommend to everybody who would wish to have a stay in UAE's capital city known as Abu Dhabi. Lobbies are very much humbled guys, respectful and careful in all manners. Their customer service is very friendly and fantastic. The hotel is located to the water bodies of the Abu Dhabi island and front side is the second largest mosque in the world called Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque one of tourist attractions in the United Arab Emirates and world at large. Please come for yourself then you will be my witness.

Had a wonderful and magical honeymoon there. Although things did not start well once we talked to the restaurant manager Christopher and Song they took ownership and provided us with the stay we were dreaming on making it so special and importantly restoring our faith in the Ritz-Carlton brand.

We stayed half board and dined at Li Jiang, Forge, mijiana and Gionette. Me and my partner were really impressed with the quality of the food and ingredients. The menu's were excellent and excellent value for money.

Most importantly the service was of a very high standard from concierge to housekeeping but most of all Christopher the restaurant manager at the all day dining who elevated our stay to a special one.

Really good experience where you can enjoy with family or indulge yourself peacefully.
The kids club will have the favors of the little ones, and the pool is just super fab with a separate area for babies and another one for the others.
And if by chance, you can go to their brunch, you will definitely want to come back again Highly recommanded!

This hotel is beautiful, we had a problem and the staff sorted it immediately. The staff and management were excellent at their jobs, would hesitate in going back or eating in the restaurants.

The service for suite villa is very terrible firstly the half of electricity is not working and is very hot then the water of kitchen sink is not working also the lighting of balcony not working moreover when I requested for something I have to wait money hours.nowadays I am waiting some body to fix tv? By the way the room 1074

Positives are a nice view and really comfortable rooms with large beds. Cons are the shattaf they install is really weak. And the beach swimming area is really small. Otherwise the hotel was amazing.

The view, the ammenities, the service. The villas are a little dated, upgrade the electronics and its perfect. The privacy is unparralel. Excellent

Came for the weekend, I can say am impressed compared to other RC I have stayed in before. But this one is missing the Ritz Carlton luxurious vibes.

Breakfast was in a vet tiny restaurant with very limited options for its pricing. Didn’t enjoy that.

Its a very family oriented hotel, with huge swimming pool for kids, which they enjoyed it a lot.

Not sure why the beach space is so tiny compared to the hotel size, but it was not bad canal/sea beach.

Staff, rooms, facilities, etc, was generally good.

Overall; not impressing. Mostly will try other venue next weekend gateway.

Great property, especially with the extended space across the venetian village. Staff including restaurant staff are generally very nice. Concierge and room service staff were exceptionally hospitable. On a slight negative note - felt a lack of preparedness and experience in general esp with the check-in process, however there were right and timely senior intervention when needed. Rooms were OK but not upto the standard of a typical Ritz. Restaurants were very quite and less filled. Didnt get the weekend vibe especially for a family stay. I understand that hospitality sector is still picking up pace, but then we were told the hotel is full.

الصراحه تم طرح ملاحظاتي السلبيه قبل اسابيع وتم التواصل معي ووعدوني انهم سيتواصلون معي وسيتم ارضائي او تعويضي عن الملاحظات او المواقف التي كتبت عنها ولكن للاسف لم يتم تعويضي بما هو مناسب اي لم استفد من اقامتي السابقه فالفندق كمستوا خمس نجوم وسمعه معروفه عنه مافائدة تعويضي بالابقريد او وجبة افطار في حجز اخر للاسف كانت صدمه لي من فرع ابوظبي بهذا التعويض بمقارنه بفرع دبي والرياض للاسف

In general a good hotel which is deserving a 5 Star rating. But as I have stayed in a couple of other 5 Star hotels in Abu Dhabi - some weaknesses made it a 4/5 rating. Here the details:
- no USB or C ports in the room (it is 2021!)
- the curtains are too short to turn the room dark, especially when the Sun is burning on the balcony every morning
- no SPA at the moment in the hotel, as this is one of my decision factors for a hotel it was really a pitty
- the only public Bar in the hotel is a smokers Bar, this is not state of the Art, you can do that if you have 2 or bars available
- It was not possible to put an extra amount of tip on my final bill which was really a pitty and makes feeling me sad at the end
- the lebanese Restaurant was closed the whole week due to the stay of a sports teams - makes me feel a bit as a second class guest

But to bring also some very positive factors:
- the Pool area was very good and the water temperature was very much appriciated (not too cold)
- the breakfast was very good and Thidar provided a cute Service every morning
- the house keeping was very polite and does the daily in the afternoon instead of the morning as I was working daily during the general house keeping sessions
- Chris from the Concierge service arrange a pick up of my rental car at the hotel
- and last but not least: the best Restaurant you can head for is definitly The Forges, outstanding service, meat performed at its best and Swapnil has been the best host I wver had in a Restaurant- great experience.

We had such a lovely stay at this property. Clean, welcoming, friendly and responsive staff from check in to check out. Gorgeous room with great AC and a spectacular pool view.

The amazing Grand Mosque is across the street and East to walk to. This was our most expensive stay in Abu Dhabi but we do not regret it!

Pool and beach staff incredibly attentive. Clean hotel. Can’t wait to stay again!

في الحمام تم تركيب الشطاف المؤقت. المفروض ان يكون هناك شطاف و كرسي الغسيل منفصل بما ان الفندق جديد.
نوعية المحبس للشور غير جيده للاستخدام لانه عليك التاكد ان المحبس في النص لإغلاق الماء.
اهتراء بعض اجزاء السرير و كانه قديم جدا مع ان الفندق جديد. (يوجد صورة)
بوابة المدخل لا يوحي بفخامة الفندق. جدا صغير غير متناسق مع حجم الفندق.
التلفزيون جدا تعيس. تضغط على جهاز التحكم و لايستجيب و لا يغير القنوات.

هذه النقاط بامكاني ان اتصل و اطلب يصلحوه. ولكني اتيت لارتاح و ليس للتصحيح الاخطاء فهذه من واجبات الفندق ان يكون صالح للاستخدام مية بالمية و قد تم التاكد منه قبل وصول الزائر.

This absolute stunning hotel is a place to be.great service with friendly staff. The rooms are beautiful and spacious. The beautiful pool area is the best to end your day with refreshing drinks and a lovely swim.

Amazing hotel I could stare at the whole building from its beauty, the staff are natural in their interaction with guests and very warm and welcoming you can tell they select their staff well. The rooms are very comfy great view and food is great. Would love to come back. Oncecl again very pleasant staff including the chefs you could feel the warmth when they interact with you well done team

What can be expected from a 5 star hotel, wide range of delicious international cuisines, great ambiance, professional staff, pricey but worth paying for an amazing evening. Keep it up!

Luxurious, peaceful hotel with all the amenities you can hope for. The service by the pool is excellent (thanks Rafiq). Breakfast could be of better quality (seems like a lot of food is pre-purchased and they've simply unwrapped the cling film) and could do with a lot more variety, by day 2 it's boring, by day 8 it's torture.

يعتبر من فنادق خمس نجوم ،وبه شاطيء خاص،مع اطلاله الفندق على مسجد الشيخ زايد،ويوجد به عدد من المطاعم،مثل مطعم الفنر.

Aladdin was our server and provided us with excellent service! He was very friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend Barfly for a visit for food and drinks - great food and fantastic service from Aladdin!

Very pleasant stay. A bit disappointed that the TV'S couldn't be casted on, but besides that really happy.

Ok so, I adore this hotel and the staff. It's the only hotel I will stay in when I'm in Abu Dhabi. The setting, right opposite the Grand Mosque and 20 mins from the Abu Dhabi International Airport, is just a bonus. It's very plush and the deco is modern and clean with a great inviting warmth as you enter the main lobby.
The staff can't do enough to meet your every need and always do so with a smile. They are incredibly professional and at the same time personable. They remembered me by name and used it all the time which was so nice.
I've dined in all seven restaurants and you're spoilt for choice. Loved the Sorso bar too! You must, make a point of relaxing by the massive pool and the amazing pool boys who will have your sun bed and water waiting before you know it.
All this sounds cheesy and it's not meant to. I will be going back for a third year in 2021.

Disaster. I was going to make a presentation form this hotel and purchase premium internet for this. It was down for 30 mins. Nobody cared about this. Management simply ignored this problem. It was a bummer. If you ask for the help with your luggage, you are going to wait for 30 mins when someone come

One of the best hotels to visit in Abudhabi, huge pool and the best breakfast I have seen, we stayed in a villa that was quite big for us and the kids, it has a set of detached restaurants and pub, while is still has a nice Lebanese restaurant and lounge to spend the night, staff is experienced and attentive, the views inside is an eye relaxing spots, kids get their own ice cream shop too! No complaints

Amazing facilities and services, shouldn't miss their Friday brunch, very very friendly staff! Thumbs up.

What do you expect from a very renowned hotel brand? It's awesome. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Lots of restaurants and cuisines. Li Jiang is the best one.

But as every hotel, it has its share of flaws. The buffet is not that great.

Our room had an amazing view of the mosque (pictured below.) Lots of food options with an enormous breakfast buffet.

We went for the brunch at the restaurant.

The choice of food was mind blowing and the quality of everything was top notch.if you have a sweet tooth then make sure that you leave room for dessert.

The servers were incredibly attentive, nothing was too much trouble.

If you like flamboyant cocktails then make sure you have a look at the cocktail menu, they do a fair number of them with dry ice and they look spectacular.

One of the best hotels in United Arab Emirates they offer excellent services to clients with suscitifaction.

Fantastic place to visit!
I loved the atmosphere and the service given at the hotel.
There're lots of places to see at the territory of the hotel (restaurants, cafes, the "Venetian Village" and etc.)
Very easy to get there by your own (rented) car or by taxi.
