The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort

We were there for 5 days for the third time in 10 years, a pair of brand new swimming trunks worth €300 with the original tag on them was stolen from my room.
I informed everyone but there was no reaction until we left, worse still they hid and didn't offer anything in return where it was obvious that it was a cleaner. That was my last stay in this hotel

Heaven on earth! Very clearly one of the best 5 star hotels we have visited, especially if you have children, the kids club is incredible!
From the beginning to the end of your stay you will be on cloud nine!
We will come back for sure.

Great stay, amazing check-in experience (thanks to the staff member that warmly welcomed us at the time of check in), tasty breakfast, lovely atmosphere, and nice facilities with direct access to a very beautiful beach.
But, the check-out experience was extremely bad. The hotel insisted on charging me additional charges for breakfast, even though it was included and clearly stated in the rate.
The manager, Latifa, handled the situation very poorly. That destroyed the whole experience, which is the reason for a 2-star rating, which would have been otherwise 5 stars.
I should add that this is the first time I get asked to pay fees at checkout that I didn't sign or agree to.

One of the best properties we’ve stayed in, in the region. My husband, toddler and I stayed here for 5 nights and felt so taken care of by each and every staff. The property has a fantastic splash pad pool for kids in the kids club and very generous kids meal portions. Every single restaurant we ate at had the highest quality produce and excellent food. We also loved some extra details the hotel had thought of: 1) a gentleman cleaning our fogged up glasses by the poolside at noon daily. 2) readily available pumps poolside for inflating needs. 3) daily breakfast available until 1 pm. 4) live music everywhere! We’d also like to mention a few key people who went above and beyond to make our stay customised and so special: Murtaza (our dear butler), Issam (director of rooms), Chundu, Jasper Benedicto and Justine (staff at Buddha Bar) and Arun (hotel manager). Each one played an important role in making our stay absolute perfection.

Over all i love the the place, perfect for vacation and very relaxing.employees are respectful and very accommodating. They r all happy faces in serving.

As for the facilities, they are well-maintained and offer a range of amenities to enhance the overall experience. Additionally, the common areas are clean and inviting, creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests to enjoy Saadiyat beach. 

Now, let's talk about the beach. The hotel's proximity to the beach is a definite highlight. The beach itself is beautiful, with pristine sand and crystal-clear waters. Whether you're looking to soak up the sun, take a refreshing swim, or simply enjoy a leisurely stroll along the shore.

The property is beautiful and the staff are friendly and eager to help. However I felt that the waiting staff needed a bit more training in restaurant services especially for a resort of this caliber

We thouroughly enjoyed our stay at this resort. The staff was friendly and the level of service here was truly world class! Breakfast was absolutely delicious (We're still craving more of the fresh green apple juice). The adult pool was warm and beautiful, and we enjoyed our time at the beach. We stayed in several nice places during this trip, but this St. Regis turned out to be our favorite!

Beautiful 5 star hotel with pristine beach. Great food options and delightful staff. It’s a huge property so depending on where your rooms are, you will reach your step target easily. Great experience to stay but rooms rates are proper high (my stay was comped…). Beach is one of the best in the UAE and great for running. Spectacular bathroom and super comfortable bed. Go stay if you can afford it

We stayed at the St Regis Saadiyat Island during the last week of November 2021. We picked this hotel based on previous reviews where many guests had stated that the service was second to none. All I can say is that every single one of those reviews was absolutely correct. The hotel itself is fabulous, and the rooms are exquisite. In particular, the beach is incredible (sand as soft as silk) with enough room for all guests.
However what left a lasting impression is the service we received at the hotel. From the moment we arrived, each and every member of staff was outstanding and I cannot thank them enough. Based purely on this, I cannot wait to book my return. I wish I knew everybody's names to thank them, but I would like to say a special thank you to the following:
Sarita - for welcoming us on our first day. She was so knowledgeable about everything at the hotel!
Anuragh - who manages the team at Olea restaurant. We could see how hard he works and was incredibly friendly on each occasion.
Yashoda - who works at Olea restaurant. THANK YOU Yashoda for being so pleasant every morning. She works tirelessly and has an incredible work ethic. Her service was perfect, she always had a beaming smile on her face, and I hope I get to meet you again when I return.
Gayatri - who works at Olea restaurant. THANK YOU Gayatri for working so hard each and every day. Gayatri went out of her way on several occasions, such as making us fresh Indian masala tea even when it was not on the menu. She even brought us a delicious platter of fruit on our last day. Her service is impeccable and so professional.
Shaun - who works at Olea restaurant (breads section). I can't say thank you to Shaun enough for how considerate and hard working he was. I hope he continues to work at Olea at St Regis because he is excellent, and nothing was ever too much trouble for him.
Sheila - who works at Olea restaurant. Sheila did a fantastic job of always recommending the right dishes to try! She was always so enthusiastic and friendly first thing in the morning!
Mohammed Nazeem, Javed Ahmed, Mazzar Mithun, Zakir Hussein - thank you all for working so hard during the very busy breakfast period.
Matthew Adeyefu - A very big thank you to Matthew who works as one of the members of staff at the beach. Every single day Matthew would greet us so politely and professionally. He went out of his way to ensure we were comfortable and would always have a smile on his face. We could see how hard he worked, and he had such a strong work ethic. All in all, it was the staff who really made our holiday so memorable. They were kind, considerate, hard-working and professional. I truly cannot wait to return. I would like to say that they have the most friendliest and professional staff. From the receptionist to concierge the performance is outstanding. They have the nicest rooms and spots on the hotel. I love every second of our stay.

We have been in St Regis some months ago, now in Egypt and we miss you St Regis, really!
It's been one of the best experiences we've had until now. The service was not 100% but the hotel, the food, the beach and the rooms were fantastic.

We loved our stay at this wonderful hotel! The beach was amazing! The rooms have nice and spacious design, the bed was very comfortable. The Iftar dinner food was really fresh, tasty and of good variety!

We stayed in St Regis, sadiyat island recently and had a wonderful experience there. The resort is extremely beautiful overlooking beautiful sadiyat beach. I would especially like to mention the hospitality we received at the resort. It was exceptional. We have stayed in so many resorts in Abu Dhabi last year but this was the best experience till date. Their chefs are doing some amazing job with the bakery and they have the most lavish and delicious breakfast I have ever had. Also I would like to mention our waiter Mr Marco who took special care of us and made sure everything was perfect. I would love to go back there again and will recommend St Regis to everyone!

Beautiful hotel, splendid locations and great staff. We spent two nights in this property and would have stayed longer if we could, from the moment we arrived until the moment we left everything was perfect and amazing service and hospitality. The staff are very accommodating from the front office (special thanks to Anna - front office) to the butlers and Shin Nyein at Olea's was an excellent and she made our day by giving a surprise birthday cake made of fruits and also a big thank you to Olea's supervisor Mr Mohamed, they made our stay extra special a stay we will truly cherish from Breakfast to dinner in Olea's. The butlers arranged a wonderful surprise in our room to celebrate my wife birthday with decorations and a cake. We had truly beautiful view from our room to the ocean. Room was top quality with great sea view. Dinner in Sontaya was delicious and service was great. Overall the attention to detail and service quality was clear throughout stay. Highly recommended for couples, families and friends outing to have a fantastic and chilled out time.

We are currently in the hotel and we stayed in room 412, the stay was a gift of my sister as we just married. My sister called more than 8 times to organize the surprised giving our names and asking for a personalized card with our names and a gift voucher paid by friends for the spa that usually when is a surprised should be written with the name of the person who gave that as a surprise. All of this was previously asked and they said by phone that everything was ready. When we arrived they were not able to find our names, we went to the room and the name in the card was wrong. The amenities were not for two persons (only one toothbrush 1 gel 1 shampoo, no cream.) the concierge was unable to send us more amenities and his voice thru the phone was like no energy to work and not even a single sorry or thank you. This hotel doesn’t worth the money that you pay.

My stay at the St. Regis on Saadiyat Island has been an amazing experience, and I credit it all to the wonderful staff who make this place a fantastic and luxurious resort. Despite COVID-19 restrictions this hotel has managed to create an atmosphere of comfort and peaceful seclusion.

I would like to thank all of the hotel staff for their commitment to excellence, however I am especially grateful to Faziliddan and Samson of Private Dining, who greeted me each day with a kind word and a smile. I would also like to thank Francis from the Beach Bar, who went the extra mile and provided truly excellent service.

Amazing service as usual. We struggled at the beginning when we requested late checkout after 12pm. The receptionist wasn’t friendly and attitude, She refused the request without giving any another option her name is Teona avoid her. Then I spoke to Oksana and she was extremely professional. She suggested to give us standard room instead of staying late in the suite and Majd made our day even better for late check out until 7pm. Still loyal to Marriott bonvoy️ keep ur standards up!

With my first birthday experience at St Regis Saadiyat Island, it was a horrible day first I began to find a hair inside my slider burger when I was enjoying my time at the resort beach, and I got back to the room to find that the shower was freezing and you cant adjust it, so i think this is gonna be the last time i come here.

Enjoyed my time at the lobby lounge, excellent collection of hot and cold beverages, aside from the bakeries, which were completely an experience on its own.
The atmosphere was exquisite as the pianist was playing in the background.

Spacious rooms with great quick service and quite a view. Known for their golfing course but I didn't take advantage since I don't golf.
Their breakfast buffet is pretty similar to any other hotel, nothing really stood out.

Fabulous stay. First and foremost, the staff is top notch. There are several pools including an adult pool with lounge chairs in the water. The gym is spacious and has everything you need including a great lap pool along with a sauna, steam room, and cold pool. Right outside are a few coffee shops as well. The beach is beautiful. Had a great meal at Sontaya, and I’d recommend going for sunset. One of the bars also has a happy hour (2 for 1 on delicious cocktails) and they use a saber to open a bottle of champagne at 7pm each night. If you are looking for another treat, visit the spa. Loved my facial and enjoyed relaxing in the facilities. It was a great few days celebrating my best friend’s bday. Can’t recommend it enough!

Indeed it's a luxurious place. The place is very big, there's the hotel side and the Residences. The room is very big and the toilet is equivalent big. The showers area is spacious and there is also a hot tub to relax aching body. The beds and the pillows are very comfortable. The whole settings is quite romantic. Located within the compound area a few restaurants and Cafes to select for dining. My stay was half board which includes a dinner and breakfast. Both meals offered great selections. The swimming pools is also a good place to relax and chill out. Don't forget to try their private beach which is right infront of the hotel. Their butler service is both great and efficient. Cheers!

An excellent hotel. The rooms are big and spacious. The bathroom is also big and clean with a shower area and a bath tub. My room was quiet and very clean with a balcony facing the Maria Island. Sitting there was very beautiful during sunrise or sunset. The swimming pool is nice. There is one outdoors and another indoors. The breakfast at Olea is very nice. There are variety of dishes available and many lovely seats available inside and outside the restaurant. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There is so the butler service which is very helpful. They changed my soft bed mattress with another hard one. They also helped in getting my clothes pressed a couple of times.
The hotel is very recommended, whether with family or business trips.

Mal wieder ein kleiner Traum im St. Regis nach einem Jahr aussetzen. Hotel super, Essen super, Personal super, tolle Zimmer, tolle Pools und ein sehr schöner Strand.

We have been visiting this hotel regularly for the past 7 years and never had a single thing to vaguely complain about, on the contrary each stay seems better than the previous one! It’s a peaceful and romantic oasis when we travel as a couple and and the go to place to impress family and friends visiting the UAE. The service is consistently outstanding, needs are anticipated and nothing is too much trouble for the team. A special mention goes to Oksana who always finds a way to make us feel special!

Had a great stay. The ocean view suite is well apointed, with a large bathroom and shower area. Good sized balcony with direct, uninterrupted views of the ocean. One of our favour places to spend the day while at the hotel was the adult pool area, which is a sanctuary of calm, a huge plus when compared to resorts with only a general pool area. The restaurants are also fantastic and there is the added convenience of the small shopping centre adjacent, which has a Spinneys supermarket and other small restaurants and shops. Had a great stay and will definitely return on the next trip to Abu Dhabi

Saadiyat island was a beautiful resort and the beaches and security was tiptop, however in a largely secluded resort only breakfast was offered for free and lunch was too overpriced. The checkin took forever and I only got my room at 5, as opposed to 2

I had the pleasure to spend few days in this significant resort. It was simply astonishing. From the moment you step into the hotel it feels like you stepped into a different dimension; this because of the smell, the lighting, and everything.

What I admire the most about the hotel is the fact that where ever you turn your face you see a piece of Art.

My friend and I stayed in Suit 270, and had Anthony as our man for the stay, he never said no for anything and was the MVP butler.

As for the room, the furniture was high-end and cozy for life.and the bathroom was super huge.

We used to order a lot of food to the room and the food was delicious.
As for the facilities, the hotel pool is perfect for tanning with their semi-floating tanning beds and i noticed the water temperature was perfect where as it makes you forget the extreme heat.

Overall, if you managed to stay here, note that you are preparing yourself for something different. And the people here are extremely friendly, you will find a random picture of me with a couple i pumped into, along with one of the hotel staff. I was too busy working i couldnt take pictures of the room, but there is one with a good view, hopefully in my next stay I'll add some more, have a safe trip.

Tolles Hotel, auch wenn ich diese großen Anlagen nicht so mag. Personal ist steht’s freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Essen ist sehr zu empfehlen und es ist für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Die großen Bäder sind ein Traum. Und auch für Kinder gibt es hier ne Menge Spaß.

The St Regis ball rooms have excellent facilities for organising events. IRENA has been regularly holding their General Assembly meetings at the venue. The WiFi is good, food is very nice, the AV works very well, they have well equipped meeting rooms and the beach in January is amazing.

Magnificent view overlooking the ocean and the golf course, simply amazing. The food in Olea restaurant is also extremely delicious.

After planning to go I dont know how many times I finally made it to the hotel.
On the drive up the view does not disappoint (in daylight- I've been many times at night to the ballroom).
The valet parking attendants were welcoming and helpful.
The view as you walk into the foyer was amazing and like a dream = blue sky with palm trees.
The staff had already told me which way to go.we walked out of the lift and went outside. Easy you would think but can be a little confusing when going to the pool and beach.
The changing rules are nothing to write about and a HUGE disappointment compared to the sister hotel a short distance away.
The pool was lovely and a great view to boot; quiet and easily accessible for my 2 young sons.
Disappointed with the helpfulness of staff when on the way to the Sandcastle Kids Club.
Sandcastle club was lively and my sons loved playing in the water. The staff and facilities were amazing.
Food was okay = expensive; not a wide variety for children.eat at the kids club as better deal for their food.

Shower head in changing room didnt work and the shower on the wall was very low if your an adult.changing rooms were warm and AC couldn't even be felt.

On leaving and close to the doors to the lift i almost slipped.very disappointing that the tiles are very slippery no sign and noone around.what would have happened to someone alone or elderly

I had gone to this property with my family for EID vacations. We stayed in the Ocean Suite.
Service: Service is absolutely mind blowing and one of the nicest staff you'll come across

Food: We tried the breakfast buffet/Sontaya/Buddha Bar/Pool Bar and amazing food quality and service. Breakfast: Breakfast Buffet in OLEA has a lot of options and for people for each taste, you'll find something. Sontaya: It is very authentic Thai restaurant. Buddha Bar: We went there for a date night and amazing experience.good Service, gr8 food options; Sheesha and lovely music.

Room: We stayed in Ocean Suite and the space was perfect. The butler service that they had was really helpful and maintained the property in top notch condition. Access on each floor is controlled by keys so good for security.

Gym: The gym is very well equipped and has a lap pool indoor as well which makes for a lovely setting. There is classes available that you can take

Shopping Area: Right in front of the property there is few restaurants and Spinneys, some local shopping options which is perfect so you are not missing onto options. No need to pay 20-30 dhs for bottle of water in the hotel, you can go get it for 2-3 dhs in Spinneys.

Spa: The Spa was the only disappointment for me and my wife. We had signed for a couple's massage. We appreciate that they had separate changing area's etc given the local culture; but even for the couple massage, there was not much privacy. We had chosen for scrub and massage and between the two treatments, we were suppose to take a shower to clean. The shower area was in the massage room only, and the ladies doing the massage decided to stand outside the door yapping away to glory.a little bit more attention to detail would help. My specific massage therapist was not very polite as normally I have seen across the world. Very loud.

Property: Amazing pools/ Beach Area /Golf all great.

Sandcastle: Special mention to the Sandcastle which is the kids club.it has special kids play area and specific kiddy pool.it was just perfect with our 3 year old enjoying. We even used there nanny service to look after our daughter in the kids club and my daughter was in love with the nanny.

If you are looking to get away from hustle bustle.have a relaxing vacation with your family/friends.and not have to travel too much away from Dubai/Abu Dhabi. I would highly rate this place.

Fast check in and the staff are proffecinal. Big size rooms and big lobby. The hotel facing the sea and have a lot of water activities. 3 swimming pools.

The hotel, staff, food and overall ambiance is great. The only one thing that we didn’t like was there was many stones and pebbles at the beach. Overall, highly recommended

Me and my best friend stayed in this hotel during eid al adha and it was also her birthday celebration. 20-22 August 2018 in room 782. We hoped to enjoy our stay however it was not how we expected. And we ended up being very disappointed with our stay and the hotel.

The service was good in beginning at check in but than they gave us incorrect room: a non smoking room, although from beginning we requested a smoking room 2 times: before check in and during. Once we arrived at the room we realized it is a non smoking room. They offered to change it but than we decided to stay in same room because we liked it. Also they forgot to provide a birthday cake for my friend and when i called they apologized and than we got it. So it was ok.

The room in general is beautiful but the facilities are not amazing. Air conditioning was hard to manage.

Hotel facilities are very nice in general but we had hard times with lost and found department of St Regis. When we stayed at adult pool we forgot our cap there and next day we tried to find it but lost and found department in St Regis was very slow and not helpful only when i shouted that we will leave hotel only than they found it.

Next day when we checked out hotel kindly offered us late check out which was great, but than we forgot inside the room 2 bottles of new alcohol: 1 bottle rose wine and 1 litter big Jagermeister. After 3 hours we left from hotel and realized we forgot it in the room, so same evening we called hotel and asked to help us to get the bottles and they couldn’t find them and they said next day they will call us and find them however they never did even though i spoke to lost and found and to the general manager who personally called me that evening. Still nothing from hotel side! I am very upset with the hotel! I wish they would handle it differently and at least give us a call to apologize but noone even contacted us.

Rooms are very nice. Room service are excellent. In room dining is also fast. But we had the worst experience while checking-in and checking-out. I have been waiting for mu turn to check-in for around 45 minutes. The same also while checking out, when I went to the room to take my belongings and call them for check out I have noticed that they blocked my room card and asked from me to visit the reception again to activate it although it worked for the elevator. It was around 12: 07pm. So I am giving them 1 star for check in and check out process & 5 star for room service and in room dining.

The kids area are amazing and lovely for all the ages of the kids from 4 months to 14 years
Books, toys quality, cleanness of the area, the life guards very friendly towels and the quality of the toys and the variety of the activity are amazing.
Prices is high but it deserve it.

Stayed for four days and had a great experience. There's always a taxi available. There are also plenty of restaurants just across the way and a Spinney's so you don't really need to go into town to get anything. We went over there for a bit of dinner and shisha.

We went to the Iridium Spa for a couple's massage and it was worth it. Having an Entertainer discount made it doubly wonderful.

The breakfast selection at its Olea restaurant is large and pretty good. We enjoyed brunch here too.

I recommend hitting the beach a bit earlier. We walked down after breakfast and about the time we left (11am), it was getting pretty hot and all of the umbrellas were taken. Everyone leaves their sandals and flip-flops at the walk and it's a brilliant idea since the sand was so soft! The beach staff was quick, nice, and helpful.

The room was clean and the bathroom was something else! There was a tub, a giant shower with a vanity on either side and the toilet at the end. My favorite part was that the shower could be turned on at the center and be the perfect temperature.

We never needed our butler but received a hand-written note to welcome us to the hotel since we were at the spa when the butler came to greet us.

The coffee machine in our room was broken but there's a parlor and we got plenty of coffee at breakfast too.

The St. Regis has great air conditioning but it also has a ceiling fan, which I haven't seen in many hotels here and haven't realized I missed.
