The Third Place Cafe

Amazing cafe with warm waiters and waitresses, very cozy ambience for work, study, or to have a chat with colleague or friends. Food and drinks are very tasty and the service is fast and thoughtful. A lot of sockets to plug your chargers. Perfect place to focus.

This has always been one of my go-to places whenever I feel like hanging out by myself. Their food items are simple just how I like it, uncomplicated and affordable. Delicious, too. Just needs improvement on the furniture and fixtures as it’s quite old. Nonetheless, I love the place.

I was able to do some reading. The place is cozy and the ambiance helps you to focus. I love that it's not noisy and they have an area upstairs for study/work. I just ordered matcha frappe, a bit too sweet for my liking but I should've told them to lessen the sugar. Overall, it was a good cafe.

What a gem of a place. Tucked away just behind the Corniche this place has got such an artisan appeal to it.
Car parking is not a problem and is a couple of meters away. Inside is cool and classic with good size outdoor seating area as well.
It is a community café but this means that more effort and care is put into everything they do. The staff are very welcoming, attentive and will make sure you have great service.
The menu is written on the wall. The choice is great, whether you're after a small snack or something more substantial all the food is freshly prepared, perfectly cooked and well presented.
Drinks are a mix of typical café cups plus they have their own selection of healthy fruit smoothies.
If you're stuck for somewhere to eat and don't want the expense or the standard offerings that are so common around Abu Dhabi, then The Third Place is totally recommended.

I really love third place cafe, of course!:) I love all the staff's the baristas they are very dedicated, compassionate and respectful. Specially Mr John, he is friendly approachable and I saw his passion in his work like a hardworking Man.he love his work. Also hafsa, shakira, vugar emmanuel i love them all, the smile they gibe to every customer. 100%! No. 01 third place cafe. The best!

I love the ambience in this cafe. It is a nice place to kick back and read a book. You can also get some peace and quiet in their silent rooms, I guess they are called.

You have to order your food at the counter. The food and coffee was really delicious. This place was constantly busy. They have seating indoors and outdoors.

Excellent lunch in the small outdoor garden. Delicious salads and refreshments. Quiet and very nicely decorated.

I came with my friend for breakfast and we got a weird tooth in the muffin!
What is worse is that when I asked to speak to the manager, he directly told me: "it's not from us. " Before telling me in my face that I am lying, why don't you check your staff and see which one is holding a grudge and trying to take it out on customers!
Very bad attitude honestly. He didn't even apologize! Would never return there!

Great coffees, smoothies and breakfast fare with inside and outside sitting. You order at the counter and the bring to your table.

Quiet, nice place. Good to have an early breakfast enjoying the view of trees and the sounds of sparrows.

Nice cosy cafe with a quiet library space in the second floor. Good variety and portions are good. Very good service. I plan to be regular.

Best cafe I have ever went to before! The food is delicious! I usually go there with my friends for lunch! Sometimes breakfast too! The servers are very nice! The couches and chairs are very comfortable! I always get grilled angus burger with sweet potato fries! I got the sizzling brownie one time and it was extraordinary! This place is a bit expensive, but it is totally worth it! This place should have gourmet stars! I rate it percent! If you are in a Abu Dhabi, make sure to check this place out!

The Third Place Cafe is a nice neighborhood cafe with quality coffees and teas and solid food. What is really the stand out feature for me are the quiet rooms available for people to work and read without the regular distractions of a cafe. The space of the cafe allows for these various rooms and nooks to be able to work quietly and uninterrupted. I really appreciate this! Definitely check out Third Place Cafe when you're in the area!

This placed used to be my top spot for coffee and getting some work done … My last visit was shocking … Soon as we sat down the waiter comes over and asks us to show him the Al Hosn app, which we do. He then tells us you can go inside to order and turns away. I say “thank you for the warm welcome” to which he looks back and gives me an eye-roll. After ordering and sitting down we began our discussion (Dentists discussing some cases), 30 mins in the same waiter comes and asks if we’re done with our drinks. They were still more than half to a half full. To which we reply “not yet” then he repeatedly asks us if we’re done, informs us about the lady order, then tells us they’re closing 3 times. We left and stood in the parking spot and were surprised that they actually closed almost 45 mins later.

Shocking experience. I doubt I’ve experienced such service before and I hate to have it come from one of my favorite spots … 2 stars because I still love their coffee

When I first entered the cafe I was a bit confused because I didn’t understand that I was supposed to order at the cashier first, the worst part is that I wasn’t even acknowledged by the staff, I waited a bit for them to notice but They didn’t. If I didn’t ask them where to order they would’ve let me just sit there. The food tasted ok but it was definitely not worth 70 aed, the only good thing was the ambience and the community like feel in the cafe, but other than that it wasn’t really worth it.

Good espresso but there is no full waiter service here, Starbucks style. Closing at 11 PM is too early.

They were all kind and the food was delicious.
They also checked the green pass thoroughly.

Laid back spot to enjoy some food, beverages and read a book/do some work. Very cozy and "home like" atmosphere.

-The system is (order at the cashier and have your food brought to your table).
-Their breakfast is all day, and it comes with a hot drink and orange juice!
-The portion of all meals is perfect.
-Ambiance is great for conversations/work. Power outlets all around. My favorite place to work/read in.
-I like to order the egg benedict & seafood pasta
-Upstairs are working spaces and rooms you can book.
-Clean and with available parking.

We went there for a friend's birthday celebration and I really liked the ambiance and privacy. Their party hall was adequate as per the gathering and food was really great. I loved their smoothies and pasta the most.
Would go there again.

Nice and good place to go when I want to enjoy some time alone, their study place is nice, but I wonder if they can expand a little, the decor is very nice but at the same time there's something that tells me they doesn't clean the cafe very well, the AC was not cooling as we requested the server which leads to a lack of maintenance for the shop.

I've been in Abu Dhabi for five years and still this place is in my top five coffee shops in the city. The food is delicious, and the ambiance inside just welcoming and cosy.

We come here often with photography club friends after Friday morning shootouts, and its a great place with very pleasant calm atmosphere.
Outdoor seating during the colder months is amazing.
I love to order for breakfast Avocado Toast with small fresh orange juice and Cafe Latte. Highly recommend!

Good place and inviroment, yummy coffee.but service is bad they always look sad and angry "came here for more than5 times and they always look angry"

I usually enjoy coming to this cafe for the calm ambience and good customer service, unfortunately today I received a very rude service from the barista, my drink tasted off and I kindly asked if I could change it but he was so rude and bluntly refused. You just lost a customer:).

Monday well spent at this cosy beautiful cafe called @thirdplaceuae which is surely a hidden gem, guys I was so relaxed with the cute ambiance which is so comforting.

The cafe has got furnished alcoves, window seats, and patio tables, which surely makes it a great place to meet a bud, read your favorite book, you can also finish of your assignments over the high speed wifi. The food is delicious, not overly spiced, fresh, healthy and well-prepared.
The staff is so welcoming and cheerful.
I assure you, you will leave the place smiling and satisfied. They have a large menu written on the wall.

Really cosy cafe located in a villa that serves some of the absolute best comfort food and drinks in Abu Dhabi. You'll spend at least 20 mins staring at their menu wall trying to figure out what to getThis is a perfect place to bring your SO on a date as well. They have both indoor and outdoor seating but I prefer the indoor seating area, their decor is really nice! You could easily spend an afternoon or evening here. They have a book wall as well indoors. Sometimes I get my laptop here to chill out for a bit. Staff is lovely too, one of my go to places in AUH! Parking is ample at this area as well.

One of the best niche cafes with excellent good and ambiance. I usually like to use it to meet with people

I love this place in Abu Dhabi. Relaxed, home deco, nice sfaff and great food. A place to go to relax, read a book, do some work and meet friends.

Its a quite place, with a nice view on abu dhabi Cornish.

Diverse menu, tried the Angus cheese burger & the passion fruit soda both were greate.

The only setback was there is no at table services. If you didn't visit this place before you might spend more than half an hour sitting at the table before discovering that you have to make your order before sitting down.

Great to see 3rd Place Cafe back up and running with in-house dining. Lovely food and coffee, and scrupulous in their Covid 19 protocols. Well done!

I go there every Tuesday morning after running group.the cafe is comfortable and offers a pleasant atmosphere.everything I've had to eat and drink at Third Place has been delicious.my only complaints are that it's a bit overpriced for the things I like to order.the soup is always amazing, but the servings size is more than a little mean.it also may just be me, but the glass size for some of their juices seem to have shrunk a bit but still cost the same.also, the service has been a little slow and more than a little disorganized for the last couple of months

Beaufiful cozy place like home, sitting outside is a huge plus, delicious food and people. Brownie with ice cream is a must to try, just love it.

There are a lot of website with reviews of this place about being pet friendly, I went and unfortunately I was kicked out with my small dog THIS IS NOT A PET FRIENDLY RESTAURANT, fortunately we were accepted in the restaurant next door

Tried their Angus ribeye steak & cheese (wrap) and I must stay it tasted great. You can notice that it also looks clean and hygienic. Well done.

DO NOT ORDER THE CALAMARI!
I ordered the calamari and it was so slimy on the inside and tasted so bad I couldnt take more than a bite off. And flies were getting on our straws and drinks. My whole experience was ruined and my appetite was ruined for the rest of the day, overpriced for no reason at all.
Let me also mention the tables. We almost dropped our food 6 times, the table is so unstable and keeps shaking everytime we touch it

Lovely, comfortable seating arrangements. A nice, clean, chill place to study hang out, host meetings etc. Great staff. There's even a quiet room upstairs where you can do researches/work and they have available computers.

The coffee and the atmosphere is really great for studying and socializing. But the seats are not comfortable after a long period
