The hotel describes itself as a design hotel. This also applies to the entrance area/lobby to a certain extent. But the entire remaining hotel area has nothing to do with design. Rooms and bathrooms are large, clean and have comfortable beds. The furniture is rather old-fashioned. However, our deluxe room offered a direct view of the hotel's technology park and air conditioning. DBL DELUXE? In terms of the services we booked, this hotel and the Abu Dhabi part of the trip was a complete disappointment. The restaurant has no flair, the breakfast is modest and simple. For the other meals there is always one and the same menu (fast food - a turning point like the well-known burger restaurants). Not a flagship for a 4 star hotel. Bottled beer, orange juice, sometimes yes, sometimes no. Once the juicer was broken then suddenly it was fine again. The whole thing in continuous change. Our resort credit for $180 per room (but you can't call it a resort here) was not redeemable because of the closed pool bar on the beach and at the pool, as well as the closed other restaurants in the posh resort area. There was a voucher of 10 dollars left for the only main restaurant in question, which meant a beer with dinner. Even at the lobby bar, despite discussions, our credit could not be used. The luxury part of the resort shown in the travel video is a great advertising duck. However, it cannot be used by guests in the cheaper part of the Traders Hotel. We were turned away from the pool area. Our pool area was in a small area, walled in on the 1st floor. The small hotel beach
on the canal with a view of the already mentioned, well-kept but unusable part of the complex (Traders Shangri-la), is below the terrace of the main restaurant. Directly (2 meters) next to the terrace is the huge air conditioning system of the neighboring hotel. This is as loud as an Airbus and prevents you from staying there for a long time. Some of the parasols on the beach are broken or have black spots (mold?).

Last sunday, I went to Trader’s hotel just to have a drink. They have a bar in lobby and i got to know the bartender named Yoon who's working there. She’s really nice and i had a wonderful time talking to her. I would like to thank Yoon for her service and assistance. Really had a nice experience in that hotel.

@Traders - why did you ask me to get in touch via email - did you want to look like you cared about customers' feedback? I've sent you email and no reply from your team whatsoever.

Last stay was a disaster! We got a room that was super stinky and when called reception, they promised to give us another room in "40mins". We ended up waiting till 6pm in the lobby! They didnt give us proper timing - we could have spend this time on the beach or elsewhere! But when we asked for late check out - duty manager was super aggressive and raising his voice shouting"it's not my problem! ".
Also, my car was in valet parking and when returned - it was all dirty, seat back was lowered as if someone was sleeping in my car! And mirrors were all readjusted as someone was driving it around! This is the worst service and not worth your money at all!

I'm writing regarding customer service or lack of it. I booked one night and after a while decided to book additional one. The hotel refused to book additional night, third party site thru which I booked said the hotel cannot guarantee both nights in the same room (they still have free rooms for both nights). I request to cancel my booking for free to book two nights and that also was refused. Ridiculous. I rather lose money and book elsewhere.

If you're a family and need two rooms, then stay out of this hotel. Two weeks ahead we made the booking and they said we will do our best, upon arrival no rooms were ready for us. They made me pay to upgarde one room then get a connedted room.

If you can't promise to give me two room near each other then email me so that I cancel my booking.

The attitude of the receptionist and Mr. Nidhal is too unpleasant. Few recommendations to him: do not ask if I am a smoker or not, ask if I want a smooking room or non-smooking room. When I need your help on the elevator because it it too old and the magnetic card doesn't work then you ask which floor I want Nidhal not my room, I am not sharing those in public and eleveator is not to the inside of my room.

Management needs to put new guidelines to reach customers' satisfaction sarting with the elevator and magnetic card, through the receptionists and the management representative.

Wonderful stay. The room was very spacious and housekeeping always did an excellent job on a daily basis.
Also, all the reception and F&B staff were very friendly and welcoming.
Fantastic service all around the hotel.
Would definitely go again and would recommend highly for a stay in Abu Dhabi.

The hotel staff and hotel facilities are amazing and all is friendly you feel like you are at your home, above all the reception staff especially Mr Fatehy and other team works to make our stay very lovely and comfortable

This is the second time in this hotel
I like it for families, the room is comfortable, i like the facilities, the beach, and there’s a play ground out door.
Jus two things i dont like:
1- the play ground floor isn’t safe for children, it’s broken.
2- the breakfast overall especially the service there.

Overall hotel is okish, staff super friendly an helpful, hotel clean and well maintained. However food (a la carte and breakfast too) is extremely overpriced and awful at the same time. My worst food experience in the UAE.

The staffs are accomodating and they took time to explain the services of the hotel (especially carmen from the reception). Even their bellboys are giving their extra time in asking what they can help, like if we want to ride the "gondola" and he will be the one to reserve for us (one of the name is jhondell) and even when were just sitting in the lobby they will ask how they can help.in the restaurant the staffs are asking what you want and what they can give you. Overall we had a great 2 days stay in the hotel.

The check-in process was fast. Staff is friendly and helpful. We got our room with a beautiful view of the beach.

Personally, I feel the bedding did not smell fresh. Otherwise, it was comfortable. Room has all basic amenities including big screen TV, telephone, ironing board, hairdryer and a coffee cabinet. But there was only one pair of slippers and a robe for two persons.

I loved the beach. It was peaceful and relaxing. The hotel has a gymnasium and a pool as well.

To my disappointment, the abra ride was closed for renovations.

Overall, we enjoyed our staycation. Best value for money. We will definitely consider visiting again.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Traders. Everything was great. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The food was good and the rooms were nice. We will definitely be back soon. A special thanks to Ms. Carmen who went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay.

Staff was very accommodating & I appreciate how they took care of me during suhoor time. I love the ambiance. This is one of my regular go to hotels.

We went to their Iftar Buffet, and though they had transparent partitions in front of most of the food, people were STILL putting their germy hands through the partitions and touching the food. Kids running around unmasked.it was awful. No one on staff said anything, they just let it all happen. PLUS, we had a Groupon. NOTHING was available that the photos on the Groupon site showed on their Iftar Buffet. No Steaks. No Seafood. No Lamb Chops. Very very disappointing. We ended up going home and ordering some food. Won't be going back there to eat. It's a beautiful hotel though. That's why they got 2 stars instead of only 1 star.

Traders is a clean and well run hotel. It has good rooms and excellent service. The staff are friendly and very helpful. It is located in a nice location for relaxing after work. I would recommend the hotel to any business user needing to work in Abu Dhabi.

This hotel has a welcoming staff that are willing to go the extra mile to ensure that you are comfortable, and that you enjoy your stay. All the staff I encountered were warm, welcoming, smiled, and said hello. The private beach is picturesque during the day, and hosts several themed nights during the week for a good buffet dinning experience al fresco. The hotel is on the older side, and showed a few signs of wear and tear, but was otherwise clean and comfortable. This hotel is a solid choice for discount travelers looking for a clean room and good staff.

I was extremely impressed with the staff. I was in Abu Dhabi to run a huge project for my company, and was often exhausted when at the hotel - everyone was kind, patient and understanding. I never had to wait when I needed something, and everyone had a high level of professionalism. The front door staff was supportive, and the cleaners who took care of my room did a fantastic job - I've never been happier to walk into a hotel room. I was so happy there I extended my stay to unwind before heading home! I'll be back for sure, and will insist on coming to the Traders Hotel for any future work in Abu Dhabi.

The overall experience we had was very excellent. A 4 star hotel with a 5 STAR service.

Very clean and neat, very accommodating staff in Front Office especially the duty Manager Mr Zafer and the FO Staff Isabel who helped our team to have a smooth process in check in.

The food is very good. And the ambiance in Afya Restaurant is very nice. Our group had a great time.

Initially there were issues with the room that was offered. However JON, MIKESH (SORRY IF SPELLING IS INCORRECT) helped to resolve the issue promptly leaving me to enjoy my stay at the Traders. Please also extend my thanks for excellent service to Rupak, Ahmed and Tebay at the restaurant

Amazing! I stopped over for two nights on my way to India. At first I was a little unsure as I was travelling alone for the first time however the whole experience from start to Finish was amazing. All the staff are great and extremely helpful. The rooms were very clean and breakfast had a good variety of foods! Overall I felt very safe in Abu Dhabi and loved visiting the Grand Mosque! Will deffinately be returning with my kids to spend more time!
