Service is too slow. We had to wait for an hour for the food. Food was okay. It tastes like homemade food. They give complimentary papad with green chutney. We had ordered kabab platter that had seekh kabab, chicken tikka, chicken tandoori, haryali kabab and fish tikka out of which the seekh kabab didn't taste that good. They don't offer any bread with the grill platter, just onion kachumber which wasn't pickled really well. You've to order roti separately.

The size of their tandoori roti was too small for 5 dhs. Also the roghan Josh didn't taste that good.

Coming to the ambience. The staff keep roaming around all the time which is quite disturbing. Also the restaurant didn't smell good. Interior was very nice but the ambience is not good at all.

Delicious northern Indian food, clean place and clean food, really recommended specially Reshmi malai tikka.

The food is super oily and uncooked. When the restaurant is called for review or to inform the staff is rude.

I ordered food couple of days back and their dishes were mouth- yummy. We had ordered Chicken tikka, Butter chicken, Butter Naan and Biryani. Must try their Butter Chicken one of the best i ever tasted in Abu Dhabi. All this food for under 100 dhs was absolutely worth it.very much recommended for some lip smacking grills and Indian food:) Thank you Wazwan Restaurant Chefs for making such tasty food. Keep it up.

What's to say that hasn't been said. Love the Atmosphere, Service is always on point, An utterly genius approach to Indian Cuisine, exploring contrasts of flavors and textures, while the great music makes you want to crave for more. A definite Must try, Must repeat in the Abu Dhabi

Their Butter chicken is kids approved my little one loved it

And their Luckhnowi Yakhni Gosht Pulao was tooo good, the authentic taste of Lucknow

I would highly Recommend it, if you are craving for authentic luckhnowi food just go there and get your cravings satisfied!

Wazwan restaurant is a new discovery for me. They served authentic north indian food. Which can be a treat to the taste buds for every one not only indian but all asians will love it. Try their desi bhunna murgh on my recommendation guys

I ordered nihari combo and non veg platter and they send me incomplete order. Very disappointed with the service.received only nihari and Coke. In platter I received only 4 items.never ever order from this restaurant. Rates are high but they don't provide quantity as well as incomplete items

Ordered chhole kulcha for my daughter and got only kulcha.even after complaining so many times we didnt receive chhole and even the money was not refunded.

From today I will write review for you guys daily. One of the Worst unprofessional service ever. Fooling people. No Courtesy even to take customers call. A bunch of unprofessional people handling calls. Very sad

In abudhabi of u are looking for Lucknowi authentic food, you should try wazwan a, small place but the food is, really good the balance of spices, and freshness of food i gave 10/10 to the dishes we have tried, planning to visit again and try spme other dishes too.

Very much disappointed with our visit last time. Had to wait for hours to be served. Servers were trying hard to accommodate us but still couldn't offer us happy dining experience. Have ordered Galouti Kabab and it came mushy and porotta was below average and curry was off in flavor. Ginger Tea was made of evaporated milk when being questioned waiter politely said “sorry”. Not a happy customer and no more visiting again.

I am reading a good reviews by all the customers but no body knows whats going on behind the door. Their food may be good but their act of kindness is not there towards their employees. They are not treated well with the employees. People join and quit. I love their employees and feel sorry for them. We want the owners to treat well and respect them. They work so hard hours after hours to satisfy restaurant customers and they are so poorly treated there. No bonuses, no medical benefits or any yearly Holidays were given to them. I will urge the Restaurant Owners please be nice and treat well with your employees. Thanks.

Pathetic service and delays. I ordered through smiles and was supposed to get the order in 60 minutes. After a wait for 80 minutes we called the restaurant and he said the boy is out for another delivery and we need another half an hour (could be more).

After a long time had something so good, the outclass lucknowi biryani, gulati kebabs, shami kabas just blew away my taste buds! What an amazing experience. Definitely much recommended, just go ahead and order some mouth watering and delicious food, honestly everything is so good from appetisers to main course till deserts just amazing️

The receptionist was in an argument with other customer. We as a family of 5 sat there for half an hour waiting for our order. Sadly not even one waiter came to us for the order. Except the receptionist. We left from there because of that. Worst experience.

Recently i experienced trying delicious food from very well known wazwan restaurant. I had heard multiple times about their amazing taste n i must say they are the only option in abu dhabi thats perfect to try in terms of flavour. I highly recommend them. I tried angara chicken, kbab handi, firni, missi roti n mix prathas n naan, zafrani chicken briani, mutton nihari n let me tell you i cnt decide which was the best item. All food was perfect and a must try. Highly highly recommended.

Wazwan never disappoints - it’s a small cosy eatery that serves the best Indian food in the UAE. Also there on Zomato. Must try these main course dishes for vegetarians - shaam savera (a mix of two different gravies - red and green with koftas), roomali rotis and daal makhni. For appetizers, their aloo nazaqat with spicy green chutney takes it to a different level of awesomeness.

I had heard a lot about Wazwan Restaurant.and so, when we were in Abu Dhabi for a visit, we ordered some dinner from them.

Here is a review of what we ordered:

1. Keema and parotta: This was a tasty combination and is a must try.
2. Nonveg platter: The fish and chicken kabab varieties were succulent and full of flavor. The chutney was also tasty.
3. Mutton biryani: The mutton was tender and the biryani went well with the accompanying raita.
4. Shahi tukra: This dessert was yummy and a sweet ending to a yummy meal.

The service was good and timely and the food was yummy.

The methi malai chicken was not fresh, clearly we could see the chicken is a frozen cheap supermarket chicken as it was grey in color and breaking without any strands. The lucknowi pulao is good but not great and the quantity if the dishes is enough for an infant not an adult as its too small. Long waiting times, will give it a 2 star only for the lucknowi pulao. Never returning

We were thinking of having authentic Lucknowi food for some time, and a colleague suggested to try Wazwan. We ordered Chicken Angara and then asked their staff for suggestion. One of the staff, Mr Abhishek and the owner Ms Rana suggested us Mutton nihari and stuffed kulcha. All the items are absolutely fresh, hot and yummy! Especially, the stuffed kulcha - super soft and the nihari - juicy and perfectly cooked. We will definitely visit there again.

If you want to relish your taste buds with some nawabi delicacies, then wazwan is the place for you. I am in jus love with their food, the taste, the quantity and so pocket friendly. I have been there for dine in and ordered home delivery, i am satisfied with both of their services. My family loves this place, its our now go to whenever we are in abu dhabi. I loved their chicken changezi gravy with laccha paratha, the texture and the taste are just perfect. Also am in love with their phirni.

Waswan restaurant has a great selection of Indian dishes that are bold and delicious. We were able to try a variety of dishes and they are all affordably priced. My spice tolerance is not very high but all the dishes we tried were quite tolerable and I enjoyed most, if not all, of the dishes.
The chicken angara was a great starter. It has a bit of smokiness to it and the portion sizes were generous. The murgh pesahwari chicken curry was spicy but flavourful. Once you start, you just want to keep going. It pairs perfectly with the butter nan or tandoori roti breads. The chicken biriyani was a great dish to share with family and friends. With so many options on their menu, there is always something that will satisfy your cravings for Indian food.
They offer both dine-in and delivery so it’s never too far away. We would definitely order from Wazwan again. Can’t wait to try some of their other dishes!

A Nawabi Lucknowi Treat, befitting a King and the Queen (of course)

This weekend we got treated at this beautiful restaurant. The food was super duper finger licking good and and I am struggling to add the correct adjectives before each dish! Not many restaurants in Abu Dhabi serve the authentic Nawabi and Awadhi cuisine, so this is a treat indeed!

The restaurant is a tiny little one, so it would be recommended you order and do make sure to order a little in advance to avoid any kind of disappointed, as we saw the huge volume of orders they received, which kept flying from the kitchen. And the food being freshly prepared surely would require a minimum amount of time to get it ready, so ordering half an hour earlier than expected would surely be recommended.

Visited wazwan restaurant last night and we were hungry alot and looking for delicious desi food, they have neat clean atmosphere, kitchen was also neat clean and making fresh food, food was fresh and well cooked, it was great experience

Looking for a right place to grab delicious North Indian cuisine, wazwan is the answer.

Murgh Reshmi malai tikka 5/5 super tasty and tender. It melts in your mouth.
Butter chicken 5/5 love the spice and the portion is good too.
Murgh biryani - definitely amazing taste

The location is hard to find, just call them to get the right location.

Authentic North Indian taste of food. Mix Veg Tandoori platter, Tawa veg fry and shaam sawera kofte is amazing and highly recommended. Aloo tikki has authentic taste.
The place is small neat and well maintained.
Perfect blend of spices and delicious food.
Must try if you like authentic cuisine.
Parking might be an issue because of the location.

Me and my husband love desi food. Biryani, bbq, kachauri! Just name it.
We got to try wazwan’s Lucknowi cuisine yesterday and we loved everything!

In starters we tried:
Chicken angara tikka
Reshmi chicken tikka
Masala papad
Veg platter

Main course:
khasta kachauri with aalu bhujiya
Chicken kachauri
Chicken biryani
Chicken lababdar
Shaam sawera kofta (veg)

Each and every dish tasted amazing.
Our favourite was chicken angara and  reshmi tikka, also khasta kachauri with aalu bhujiya was to die for! Loved loved loved chicken kachauri as well. Biryani had a balanced spice level, the rice were so flavourful! And the raita (yogurt) was soooo good! Had the whole bowl myself i think.

The staff is well trained and courteous. The owner is just the sweetest person!   She kept asking us about our thoughts on the food and suggested good options from the menu to choose from according to our taste preference. They have a huge variety of dishes to choose from. Something for everyone for sure. Prices are also very reasonable.

The restaurant has a colourful desi vibe going on. They checked our temperature as we entered.kept cleaning the tables and sanitised everything.

I would highly recommend it. Try it once and you will eat there again and again. You can also get it delivered through Zomato or Talabat.

So me and my husband wanted to try some Lucknowi food and see whats all the hype about and ended up at Wazwan.

We ordered Chicken Achari Tikka and it was the most juicy tikka ever, masala was so well absorbed and had this amazing achari taste that had us drooling.

Gosht Nihari (mutton nihari). Being from Pakistan we have tasted the best Niharis so we were doubtful butttt we were proved wrong Lucknowi food is famous for a reason. It was mindblowingggg ️ We finishedd or I say inhaleddd the Nihari in record time. Served with smoking hot nan it was the most yummy nihari ever.

Lucknowi Zaafrani Biryani was served matka style fresh out of dum its aroma filled the air. The biryani was super spicy as it should be and the rice was cooked to perfection

Phirni was so yummy and rich in taste with plenty of nuts and was the perfect ending to the heart warming dinner we had.

I had an amazing experience and would visit again with friends

The place is very warm and welcoming for small groups and families, they have cute little booths and is located in the heart of the city with standard parking options available around. The food as well is quite scrumptious hitting the right flavours for that authentic taste. Highly recommend to try their murgh malai and dum biriyani. They have lots of dishes to choose from including loads of vegetarian options as well with no compromise to flavours. You can have them adjust the spiciness to your liking as they were very accommodating. Although it would be great if the service time was quicker as we had to wait a while for the meals but other than that everything was good.

Wazwan Restaurant has its flavor typically based on Awadhi Cuisine which originates from the northern part of India.
Awadhi cuisine is influenced by the Mughal Cooking techniques and is a speciality of Lucknow, India.
As a foodie, I was fortunate enough to have been invited by them for a wholesome meal to try out their delicacies.
Most importantly I was impressed with the COVID precautions and measures where a temperature check was done and a sanitizer was placed at the entrance.
The Ambience was a mix of modern and ancient architecture. A cute little restaurant which gives rustic feels that I was flown into the time zone of where I felt I dined amongst Nawabs.
For appetizers - We had Chicken Angara which is chargrilled boneless chicken in a spicy marinade full of flavors and smoked to perfection.
For Main course - I had some crispy flaky, Garam Garam laccha Parathas with some flavorful Bhuna chicken. I have literally not had anything so delicious, and mouth watering till date. The chicken just melted over and was bursting with flavors of nicely bhunaoed masala. It was tangy, spicy and scrumptious.
Next, I had my personal favorite Chicken Biryani, which made me feel like I had gone back into history. The rice was cooked to perfection and the flavors of saffron and fried onions was a cherry on the icing.
I was so stuffed with the delicious food and the warmth from their staff I had to force feed myself with dessert.
For dessert - Shahi Tukda is a tricky dessert as it has to have the right flavors and consistency. The dessert was on point and truly gave a feeling of a satisfying meal on a lazy Tuesday afternoon.
The staff were very polite and kind and catered to all our needs.
All in all I am a thoroughly satisfied customer and would rate 5/5.

Very delicious and yummy food. Non veg platter was very tasty, meat was so very juicy and tender. Zafran biryani was very very tasty, the best biryani I have tasted so far I would say in Abu Dhabi. Prices are moderate
But one thing I would like to share with management is service is little late and most of the items we ask for was being told will take more time or it’s over

But still at last our lime soda was accommodated my lady management. We all are very thankful for this. I would highly recommend this restaurant

Excellent north Indian restaurant. Cozy location downtown with great mogul dishes at a low price. We had cheese kebab (murgh hazari), mint naan and gosh nihari mutton. 90 Dirham for two people including drinks and dessert. Recommended

In whole Abu Dhabi this is the only place I believe who serves authentic Lucknowi food, being a meat lovers I tried the non- veg kebab platter and the famous galawati kebab, which I believe is the best I had after tunde kebabi in Lucknow.

Yakhni Pulao, rice is perfectly cooked in the mutton broth along with the par cooked mutton.  very well done,

I ordered 1 non veg platter and 1 pepsi through zomato, order came very late (its ok) and intrestingly pepsi was missing from the delivery pack.i called the restaurent however they are disconnecting call.very ery poor servicee

Ordered food through ZOMATO, it was just disgusting.none of the items were good. Biriyani was coloured rice with a piece of chicken boiled separately without any spices. So called chicken Makhani was disgusting boiled chicken with red colour without any spices. We had thrown everything out and had ordered fast food, only the names are very big in the menu, but not worth they are using these names of dishes. Mutton was Australian with full of FAT.be careful while ordering with this restaurant.

Small restaurant with limited seating, maybe 6 tables in all. The food is amazing especially the kebabs and biryani.

Tried Lucknowi ghost ki Zaffrani biryani. It was good. But seems that the mutton was cooked separately and then mixed with the biryani rice, as the mutton was having blank taste. Mutton quantity was less but rice more than sufficient for one. Ambiance is good. Staffs are good. Overall experience was okay.

I was unwell & just wanted to have some good food after trying many places around d corner my stay mate suggested me this place Wazwan. As I entered, I got a very good feeling. Staff was welcoming. Ambience was good. Staff was courteous, polite & helpful. Helped us make a good choice in everything. Was prompt in response. Not to forget the food was delicious. Worth the price & the best deal. It felt like having good home town food. I will keep going to Wazwan to keep my taste buds active. Kebab platter was great but the Galouti kebab ordered separately was to die for. Chicken Lababdor with the Garlic / Till Naan was mind blowing

We have already been here twice now and this restaurant may become a tradition. We have tried new dishes and asked the staff for recommendations.
The food is amazing and the staff is cool. I have to say the kebabs were absolutely delicious and really liked their Paneer shahjahani which is a combination of two paneer curries.
