Really wonderful restaurant in all respects if you are looking for a great outdoor place during this lovely weather in Dubai.
The view is absolutely spectacular with the beautiful golf course and pretty bougainvillea. I could hear the birds singing there was a lovely breeze which combined with the delicious food made my outing absolutely amazing!
The menu is full of choices, we tried the truffle cheese toast, cauliflower wings and the most delicious cheese cake. I loved them all but what beats the food as well is the view!
Highly recommend it fpr everyone who enjoys the outdoors especially weekend lunches.

I am absolutely fuming I have purchased the entertainer and tried to use a voucher today, I was refused because they say it wasn’t a house beverage, I have tried to find this in the rules and cannot find this rule, I feel you should stipulate this in the rules of use, being a caterer in the uk for over 40 years I personally would not embarrass myself over a matter of this kind. It it’s me off using the club, please could your u add this to your conditions of use

I’m so sorry to say that but it was really a heartbreaking what happened a while ago in this restaurant…
It is not our 1st time and defiantly not suppose to be the last till we had a conversation with one waiter about “gluten free” option as we recently found that my 8YO son is having “celiac” so his body can’t tolerate gluten at all, it is super more sever situation compared to the normal gluten allergy and as they staff confirmed that their kitchen is not separate and the food will be contaminated so as we do usually we ordered from outside only for him… when suddenly someone called himself as a manager came and told us food from outside is not allowed and he used “municipality rules” which is not BTW
I was sure that when we explain the situation he will understand but he kept telling without listening that it is not allowed so I asked him shall we leave the restaurant!
After detialed & long explanation and as we have a guest he asked as to sign a form as we are getting food from outside, REALLY why u did not say this before…
Suddenly I found a cake on the table next us and it was from outside, so I went and asked that “manager” and his answer was that we can’t do this kind of food so they are allowed to get… COME ON, u can’t also cook a 100% gluten free food for a kid so it should be allowed.
Long story short… when wrong people are in the correct place… so sorry again for that, it is my 1st time to write such review
But I’m sitting there now and feeling my blood pressure is 2000000 can’t wait till our guest finished her food to leave and defiantly not coming back again

Nice location set inside of the golf club grounds, nice and green and staff very pleasant and helpful. Bit more like a pub than a restaurant

Stopped here after meeting in the club for a quick pint especially as it was happy hour. Unfortunately it was windy and cold which took the charm out of the place. However service was quick and efficient and the beer was as expected.

Tap water, they provide and not asking to refill again just take it away from ur table with out asking if u want more

This is definitely one of my favorite places in Dubai.

I’ve been here many times, for breakfast, lunch, dinner, gatherings for drinks and also last new year’s eve. I would always rate it 5 starts.

The food is tasty, outdoor sitting area with golf course view and super friendly staff.

261 is one of the restaurants at Els club Dubai.

Really enjoy this place for a family lunch.

The menu has a lot of different choices which can be accompanied by Ernie Els’ wine from his own vineyard.

The seating inside is very comfortable!

But the real plus is the great outdoor area, especially in winter!

Price / quality definitely a great choice.

Not too crowded, seating indoors is quite comfy, but outdoors is bomb
Menu is versatile have great options that can be combo with there home grown vine from vineyards of Ernie Els.
Quality of food with great taste is priceless but their price for these is also not too hefty

Breakfast T the Els Club was great and service was excellent. Lovely venue. Golf course looks amazing.

Not what it used to be… once our favourite place, lacking now in sophistication. We used to go every week, now we give it a try every 3 months. The staff are trying, however are clearly not enough and therefore overworked, as only a few left.
Capitalising from events and once of guests the managment appears out of touch with the situation and how it used to be. We miss the old atmosphere we had for over 12 years and food…

Plus: great ambience, sitting outside, amazing view over the golf course, welcomjng staff, delicious food

Minus: have always an issue and confusion with entertainer voucher

We are quite regular there and have tried various items on the menu. Our favorites include Thai red curry with rice, Ernie’s burger, and steak & Guinness pie. Overlooking the golf course, it is pleasant to sit outside. No Reservation and it is normally busy during happy hours.

Love the place, nice ambience and friendly staff, food is food as well, all in all its a nice place for dinner, the view in the golf field is very nice

Possibly the worst customer service in Dubai. The staff have no clue what they're doing, half don't speak english and will just say "i'm new" and then walk away. You can expect your food to come well before any drinks, but don't expect cutlery! You have to ask for that, which will take another 20 minutes to arrive. The manager is clueless, he'll just tell you it's very busy (even when it's empty). Golf is great. Food/drink (when it arrives) is ok. Service is painful.

Never again, 1 person serving all restaurants and bar. Food is normal compared to the expensive price. The only good thing is food came fast after our order. But definitely will not visit again

This is not restaurant it’s a cafeteria with 0 service at all. In case if you are planning to go there, and if you are planing to go with child, then you need to choose other place, simple thing, we asked 2 two times for high chair from two waiters, and even they don’t give any answers, yes or no, just silence. In the end they tried to give us and pay a bill from other table.
I’m not recommend this place to anyone. If you don’t want to make you morning bad, don’t visit this place.
Sugar will be served soaked in alcohol or some substance. Waiting time for hours. No apologies were offered. Sad to see places and people having no effort simply to greet and communicate.

We've been visiting the golf course and restaurant for couple of times and we observe that the service in 261 restaurant is very disappointing. Today, i asked if discount will be applicable for the drinks we ordered, response was huh? The golf course staff as well, he saw as from afar and understand that we would like to see the area, half way of our walk he came without even greeting and warned us that it isnt allowed. Understood that there are rules and we respect that. Last Friday, since its weekend, we want to enjoy our time and breakfast in the club, but same poor customer service has been showed to us.

261 restaurant refuses to accept more than 1 Entertainer voucher per visit. I was planning to have drinks and lunch with my wife today (29/01/2021). On top of that, we ordered a certain brand of beer and later they Informed us that brand is not included in the 2x1 offer. This is very annoying, not recommended!

I give this restaurant 4 stars for its location and outdoor seating. It sits right next to the golf course. The burgers are better than everything else on the menu. They do happy hours. However, the service is slow and can be improved and the staff can be nicer. My overall rating is 3 stars.

Very nice location. Outside area is right in front of the golf course and putting green. Cappuccino was good and the staff were helpful.

Horrible dinner experience, the staff attitudes were very bad and have ugly face, I did not want to post any photo, never come again

Shocking service! They claim dog friendly but what a dog is to do there I’m yet to understand. Rude bartender. Food was slow and terrible. Ordered a draft beer by the time it was handed to me in my hand no less it was warm. One set of cutlery delivered to the table with 4 people eating and no serviettes. No sanitizer. This was a really sad experience Not at all proudly South African.

To all guests of 261, beautiful view of Golf course and lovely cuisine and the cherry on top is Mr. Midhun. He is the real reason why I keep visiting the place with my wife as he truly deserves an appreciation being an asset to Els Club. Exceptional service, very sincere & committed staff. I can see a future in him.

Service was very slow, we went for drinks only.
Mosquitoes were extremely annoying after sunset. Kids were suffering from bites for next few days.

Great location and ambiance. Friendly staff and wide selection of beverages, malts and grapes. The food selection is also quite good, from asian to international dishes all well prepared and delicious. The tacos are more like a chicken wrap instead of the traditional soft or crisp taco bit disappointed but savory as well.
