A poor experience all round. Customer service abysmal and lacking in every regard, non-responsive server who didn't care to provide any helpful info about how to order, serving options, pricing.

Asked for a specific meal, half was missing (beef stew). Server proceeded to then dispose of all buffet meals into the bin right in front of paying customers - the food we were served was 5 mins from being trashed. Extremely off putting and discourteous. Food was edible but nothing to write home about. Hope the proprietors make better decisions about their employees. Finally we waited over an hour (left and came back) for them to open - there were lights on, TV, food steaming from buffet area but no one there untill we came back later after waiting for close to an hour.

Stayed outside the restaurant close to an hour with no one to answer.

Eventually, Someone soupposingly came from a different branch. Told him about waiting and how several customers had already left. In which he replied "okay, what do you want". Zero apologies for keeping us waiting with the doors locked. I asked if he accepted card payments in which he replied "it depends", then I asked him to clarify what he meant by depends.

Went to get my partner so we could done there. Partner asked what the servings options are, again he replied "it depends". We went ahead and ordered anyway.

Halfway into our meal, he started emptying the entire dish into the bin, without regards to us being presence. Kinda strange knowing this gentleman gave us a very small stew to go with our swallow, yet emptied the entire restaurant into the bin.

Strange billing, charged us 10 AED for rice, and 30 AED for ofada stew.

Worst service experienced in the food industry.

Great place and ambience. Authentic Nigerian / African food have been coming here for 8 years. Food is reasonably priced in comparison to other African outlets. Good value for money and taste is spicy and delicious. The manager is so welcoming and funny at this branch and I always enjoy he’s smiling face when I enter the branch and the fact he knows my order off by heart! #shaki and gari girl!

Best restaurant to eat African dishes as far as Dubai is concerned. Believe me it was an awesome experience visiting here. Good meal at economical rate. I give you 5 stars.

Avoid this restaurant. I ordered egusi soup & Okro soup on the 12th of January 2021 for delivery to Studio M Hotels, Dubai & what arrived was not even fit for a dying animal. The egusi soup was clusters of large egusi balls floating in a sea of gross oil, tasteless, the Okro soup was an oily river too with chopped Okro swimming about. Horrible. I was ripped & they know what they are doing because after paying you can’t get your money back. Don’t believe any good review about this place, they are lies. Stay away from this sham of a restaurant

Worst food I have ever had in my life. Omo the place stinks bad, I just walked out and I have to write a review so people are not deceived. I ordered eba and egusi very horrible the jollof stews all that my husband ordered very horrible. The place stinks. I am on tour for 6 days I miss African food only to be disappointed.

Very nice. The goat meat rice I bought there was so nice that I am sure I am definitely going to get more.bought other food but that is all I have tasted there but I am sure it is nice cos my fiance love the ones he has eaten so far too

If you're missing naija food with the pepper and all. You should totally call these guys.

My first time in Africana Home Restaurant and you have to go! They serve amazing irresistible african food. The Ogbono with poundo yam is to die for. IT WAS FIRE! The service we received was so amazing and I will definitely be back again. They made me feel welcomed and gave me an amazing experience. Thanks Africana.

This is the worst restaurant ever in UAE, the ogbono and okra soup are very tasteless. Delivery service is the poorest ever. Infact I don’t recommend anyone ordering food from you people again. You will order food and 4 hours later that’s when the food will come very cold and the same excuse of traffic always as if we don’t stay in UAE. Your whole management is very poorrrrrrrrrrrrrr and I will never order from you people again.

I just tried to order a meal from this restaurant via whatsapp. The person that spoke to me was extremely rude and gave me attitude. He give me the incorrect price about my meals I wanted to order and when I enquired about the price, my messages were just being ignored. I was really craving Nigerian food but after this horrible service I would not want to order from here. Now I have to find elsewhere as I am being ignored after asking about the price.

The staff is SO RUDE, they could care less about anyone’s needs; and that’s quite sad.
They’re also unhygienic, their tables are oily and the place is tiny.
I’m glad I wasn’t served and left cause to be honest what if I got food poisoning?

Dine-in at Africana Home Restaurant is the best experience, you have a lot of varieties to choose from. Their staffs are really friendly and the taste of food is superb. Fried Turkey with Jollof rice, plantain and Moi Moi you will love it.

Great tasting food. Nice servings. Enough for me to have some for lunch and leftovers for dinner. Clean restaurant. Great service. My husband and I enjoyed every bite. In this picture I had fish plantain beans and jollof rice. Everything tasted great!

Too expensive food. A plate of rice and beef that sells 15 dirham goes for 30/33 Durham's here.

Restaurant that serves Nigerian food. A few varieties available. They didn't have pounded yam. A relatively small place that can take max 12 persons.
