Al Dana

Terrible experience. For a five star barely 10 items in the main course. Including steamed rice and another type of rice. Drinks were not on display so we have to order everytime. Tiny place and over priced.

Went to Dana for my son birthday, excellent display of culinary items with pleasant staffs. Much recommend

We had dinner at the restaurant last 09 December to celebrate our son’s birthday and we had a good experience. When we arrive we were greeted by the manager Mr. Nassim and all the servers are very accommodating and delivers your food with a smile. Good service to Alex, Billy, Map & Rosanine. Of course last but not the least, the food that they serve in the buffet is sumptuous…thanks to all the great chef John and Chef George! We will definitely come back and share our experience with friends! Thank you again!

The buffet is VERY limited.

I went there for Ramadan iftar buffet.the food was very bad and no taste. I'm not recommending it.

I could not belive how appalling the food was. The food tasted like it had been cooked a week before and just reheated for the buffet. We had booked a table for our large family. The next day we were not feeling so good, i would never go back and do not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I am staying here in Crowne plaza for a while and this is where I walkin for breakfast and rarely for dinner. I am a bit surprised to find this restaurant understaffed, congested. Super abundant thing is the staff attitude. They seem to judge people! Except a couple of people who are really good. Have stayed in quite a few Crowne Plaza facilities and nothing was this low on standard.

Probably because we went on a wrong date - Dinner on Easter Sunday.

Turned out to be a disaster. Very limited choices of food. No choice for children at all. Quite a disappointing spread.

Manager came to us just to check how good the food was and we said it’s not up to the mark at all, especially not much choice for kids.

To experience the charm of the old Dubai, come to brunch at Al Dana international cuisine at Crowne Plaza on Sheikh Zayed Road. The hotel is one of the oldest in the country, an iconic place associated with vibrant dining and fun nightlife. There are certain elements of the past still present around, including wooden décor, olive paint and shiny gold elements, which place you back to the Middle East in 80s.

There is complimentary valet parking on arrival, a very helpful service considering you are in the middle of a busy city. An escalator takes you up to the podium level, then turn left and you are right in front of Al Dana. The brunch offers three different packages and a great opportunity to try popular dishes from all the resident restaurants including Chamas and Trader Vics. It felt as if I travelled from one country to another because of so many options ranging from seafood and pork to incredible duck wraps with plum sauce. I started my experience with oysters and a very minty mojito made fresh right in front of me.
