Great tasting traditional food seved under nice atmosphere and river biew. I hve been here twice and great service Nd food.

One of the best restaurants where I ate shrimp and Emirati sweets with Karak tea, and all the staff in the restaurant are very respectful and highly courteous

I spend nice time in a very suggestive resturant with good food an good service by Mahendran

It was my first visit for Alfanar the view of the restaurant was so beautiful, the food quality was superb and And the server Chadani was great and she suggested the perfect food and we were fully satisfied by the food and service, will suggest friends and will come back soon

The place was peaceful with the Greek view, near the dhows and with traditional furniture and food.

Hair has been found in 5he food and the restaurant reacts very badly as it is a normal thing to find hair in food! Even could not eat

We ordered king fish biryani n grilled Sheri fish. It was really good and off course all fresh. They served us chickpea dipped in salted water as starter (free of cost) they were warm and tasty. Staff was welcoming despite it was busy. Will definitely go there again. Along with fish they served one pot of tomato based hot fish sauce and man this sauce just lifted up the taste of everything.

Al Fanar Restaurant is a MUST-EAT when in Dubai at Al Seef Old Town. It’s located right at the Creek. The food is excellent, my favorite meal are the grilled shrimp but whatever there’s on the menu tastes delicious and all the waiters are very friendly and attentive!

Amazing location that overlooks the creek. The ambience of the place is tranquil and you get to enjoy some local/Emirati music and obviously Al Fanar excellent Emirati dishes. The staff are friendly and easy to have conversations about food and the Al Seef area. I have been to this restaurant many times to enjoy their special breakfast options which will satisfy two people. It's worth coming over there and enjoy with your significant other as well as your out of town guests.

It's neither exotic nor glamorous, but has a very traditional / authentic / rustic feel with great - and guiltless - food and the Creekside ambience. Very friendly staff. The grilled squid was fabulous. The menu is rather limited, but try their Festival City location for a wider selection.

The traditional atmosphere and interior are amazing and the vibes on the national day were perfect. Although the food took some time but it was really good and we didn't mind the wait, even their all day breakfast was amazing menu and the portions were enough for sharing. They have outdoor seats with a view which is great for this time of the year. We had the Chbab bread with cheese and dates syrup dips, the Rqaq with cheese and the chicken Majboos which were more than enough for 3 people. I just wish they had more non-seafood options to accommodate picky eaters.

We tried the food here and it was so good. Everything was freshly cooked. The staff was so accommodating and friendly.

Lovely staff, Darsheel in specific. Even though he is a trainee, his personal skills are outstanding: very polite with high sense of customer skills. Food is lovely, had grilled squid and mutton machboos.

Great location by the picturesque Abra overlooking the Deira skyline, the memorising waterway and Dhows. Good choice of food, tea and Arabic coffee.

One of the best Emirati restaurants I’ve tried so far in Dubai, they have multiple branches but Al Seef is my favorite as the setting and views over the Creek are beautiful. They have a great selection of land and sea platters. Seafood and fish are fresh and prices are very reasonable considering the quality of the food. Al Fanar seafood tray and Mutton Biryani are my favorites. On chilly winter days, the Sizzling dates pudding is a must try. Breakfast trays are perfect for lazy weekend mornings by the Creek (and very instagrammable:) ) – they come with a delicious karak chai. The restaurant staff is always very nice and friendly, special thanks to Ameen for his warm welcome! We’ll be back very soon

Very authentic delicious place with amazing service from careful Ameen. Good ambiance, beautiful view on Creek & old part of Dubai. Piece full & romantic during day & evening. Place where you want to be back & enjoy again & again. Thank you for your care & good mood:)

The outdoor seating area is very welcoming overlooking the waters and boats. It’s best to visit during the day for best sunny vibes. The menu is mostly fish but they also have meat, chicken, and a few vegetarian items. We started with the Ruqaq bread with cheese and it was very crispy and fresh. The grilled shrimps were delicious and well seasoned. The chicken Biryani is a generous portion! The grilled and fried fish were good but they weren’t cleaned inside (guts still in)! End your visit with luqaimat and Karak tea!

Lovely and culture UAE food surve with fresh amazing culture (khuboz) bread. Also offered love beriani, shrimp, fish, maza, mashboos. Old is gold

Unfortunitelly I did not have a good experience in here, the taste was below normal, especially the taste, the staff were excellent, the view is amazing

Love the view and and the area. The food tastes great but the problem was the smell - if you are sensitive about your smelly fish I wouldn't recommend it. Great staff and great customer service.

Evening dinner with a "Million Dollar view". Is all you can experience if you are seating outside facing the waterfront.

Nice location with good but not great food. The waiters don't seem familiar with Emirati food besides the menu.

Good food and good service. Grilled squids were nicely cooked and lightly spiced. Best dish was Charcoal grilled Sea Bream.

A hidden gem around Al Seef Heritage Village.
Apart from the fresh seafood selection and good service that they offer, you will be treated with a wide variety of insta-worthy theme around the restaurant and even the restrooms.
