I must express my disappointment with the service I received during my two visits. On both occasions, I was kept waiting at the counter while the typing employees were occupied with their back office work or conversations. This caused a significant delay in my business dealings and was very inconvenient.
I have been twice for medical and had the worst experience ever. First of all, when compared to other DHA medical centers, this is a low standard one. Especially the people who collect blood are merciless and treated me like an animal both the times. I had pain and swollen nerve for a long time even during the second visit. When I tried to give my feedback to the customer happiness center during the last visit, he was listening in one ear and leaving on the other. Basically ignoring my feedback on the face. If you want better experience, less pain and hygienic people around, please choose some other DHA centers. This is my honest feedback.
It’s very comfortable place for making fitness tests, you can feel peace in the air, the employees are very tender and professional, the working time from 8: 00 Am to 10: 00 pm
I have a great day when i go there in karama medical fitness.there staff who assist me very well the lady name GRACE she is so friendly and kind.guys100% i recommend this karama medical fitness no hazle.thanks Ms. GRACE FOR ASSISTING US.

Fantastic experience. I was in and out in 20 mins with both Medical and Emirates ID done. I think morning 8 a.m. Was an ideal time to go. Smooth service and helpful staff throughout. Maeleen at the Medical Registration was very friendly and yet professional. Way more than I would expect from staff who are serving thousands of customers a day. Thank you.
At january 3,2023 I arrived at the center a few minutes after 10am. A staff kindly helped me with the directions starting from when he saw me getting a bit lost outside and to the registration. I will only need to have a blood test & xray.
First step is getting my height & weight. After getting my BMI, the lady told me to wait for my no.to be called. Almost 30mins have passed but no one calls my number. I asked again, what would be the next step and the lady rudely tells me to wait. Few minutes after that she told me to go to the blood collection lab.
2nd step blood collection.they asked me to sit and wait for my number to get called AGAIN! I noticed that all the ladies before me has a numbeof 60xx it means I should be there before them. My number is 4061.imagine how long I have waited for them to tell me the second step, just to be asked to wait again. ️
*They should have informed us immediately to go straight in the step 2 after measuring our height & weight
During the blood collection, the lady in room #1 is getting a hard time finding my vein in my left arm so she opted to check it in my right. Her hands are heavy.and I feel pain after she got my blood
*I am used to having injections and blood collection as I am regularly donating blood. This is the first time that my arms feels heavy and in pain after getting a small vial of blood.
3rd step xray.this is the saving grace from my experience today. The Filipina radiotech, is very nice. She gladly assisting everyone with a smile. Not only to me just because I am her kabayan, but to every ladies who are coming to her.
**I only have 2 tests to make but it took me an hour to finish it. Take note, it is not so much crowd during that morning. I also noticed that they are not prepared or just because they are training some people when they are measuring my BMI
**As of today, my arm is still heavy with bruises around it.
Not really good. I go there to get my new born baby birth certificate. One of their crew had some attitude and I cannot understand what his saying. All I need is to get the birth certificate
The most unprofessional centre in the healthcare system, I honestly don’t know how the DHA don’t take action with them.
I have an incident with them this very morning with regards to my pcr test
I have a flight later tonight and for that, I have messaged them on WhatsApp (a day before) requesting for a pcr today at 9 am, gave all my details and got a confirmation that I am booked.
An Egyptian guy called me at 8: 29 am today.saying that the home-sample nurse cannot visit me at 9: 00 and that she will come at 10;00 - I agreed to the new time slot.
Then he called me at 8: 57 saying they cannot come at 10: 00 and that they will come at 11: 00 even though I had clearly clarify and instructed that I have important appointments from 12: 00 noon to 9: 00 pm and that they must do the visit at 11: 00 sharp, their phone operator was sarcastic, indecent and for some reason he asked to know what nationality I was? ! (not sure what this will change in a country of diversity - very strange question and tonality!)
It is worth mentioning that until now, none of their respectful team members came to my house to collect the sample for my flight pcr test and I am having a panic attack because of that. My flight is in 16 hours from now.
So please do yourself a favour and book with a respectful centre or a hospital rather than dealing with people who are utterly unprofessional and don’t respect the time of their clients.
Oh and one more thing, it seems that they record the calls of their client without taking the client’s consent!
If there is a -1 star, I would go to this centre which has nothing to do with the high standards of dubai dha.
Karama Medical Fitness Centre (DHA SALEM) is located in Karama (Bur Dubai) opposite the Karama Post Office. Came here to get X-ray and blood test for the residence visa and must say that everyone I encountered at this place was very well organised & courteous! Took the VIP package and the results were sent within 3 hours, much appreciated!
Super fast service, didn't take more than 7 minutes to complete the medical check for my visa renewal. Very clean space and helpful staff. Never seen such quick service in other countries. Keep up the good work.
I persoanlly had a great experience, yes definitely there is still room for improvement, but still i will recommend this fitness center for your medical fot new visa and renewal. Staff is friendly and helpful.
Very bad experience, I did check for coronavirus to visit Abu Dhabi City and staff who did the test was very bad, the result came positive, However, I had no symptoms, I spoke to DHA and they advised me to visit other center, I did it and results came Negative after 24 hrs I did it again and got Negative. One of my friends also visited Al karama center and results came positive and he visited Other place and got Negative.
Sure, it’s convenient to have several things in one building so you don’t have to drive around but, with how slow the typist are, I believe it would take less time to go elsewhere and just to drive around. We submitted 3 documents (for me and my family members) to the typing counter at 9: 10, its 10: 00 and he’s still typing. There were 2 gentlemen that were here when I got here (at the counter) and they’re still here as well. Im not sure how much typing is required of him that it takes over an hour to complete 3 documents. Im never coming back.
Edit: It’s 10: 30, I paid for the services (Cash only? In 2021?) and I’m back here waiting.
My family was having fine around 2000 dhs and it was really tense situation for me as then someone remcomended me Karama Medical center where I met Mr Adeel. The best thing about him is he calms me down with his amazing skill of professional customer services and guid me amazingly to sort it out the issue. After couple of days I got approval for the Exemption of my all fine and it become zero. Thanks to an amazing services provided by the Adeel and his co staff. HATTS OFF. HIGLLY RECOMMENDED CENTER.and thank you
I use to come to this center for me and my family since 2011 but today Not even one star, The worst typing customer service ever from turtle typing to security saying not allowed to stand you need to sit so many things happening didn't feel we are in Dubai, alqoz branch much faster and more professional,
I am extremely upset with the service. Upon calling nobody answered. Moreover there is no information that the medical test is closed at the karama centre and only typing service is done. For typing few lines I had to wait for almost 30 to 45 minutes. My passport no.is wrongly typed. My email id is also wrongly typed, not allowing me to receive/check the status my medical report. Upon calling the centre to notify of their multiple errors, there is no response to the call. My visa is expiring on 29/7/2020. Inspite of applying well in time I shall have to pay for their mistakes by multivisits and elongated wait.
Top Super slow today. Had to wait 80 minutes to type an occupational health card renewal form! The agent in charge was scanning my documents with his personal mobile phone. When asked why, he became irate because of my question! Never had this experience here before. I guess I have to look for a new typing centre.
Astaghfirullah Al Azeem. The cafeteria is charging 5.25 AED for 500ml water bottle inside because they don't have water dispencers available. This is totally Haram
Simply excellent is services rendered towards doing medical examination for fitness before stamping the employment and residential visa. The procedures are simply amazing extremely efficient and quick. The staff that works here are very cordial, prompt and helpful. The premise is extremely clean, hygienic and orderly.
We are in one of the most cosmopolitan cities of the world and in one of the most technologically advanced cities in the world and still the only method of payment is cash! This is just redicoulous. Wake up management! Remember there's something called customer service! Does that ring a bell?
Really great visa/EID processing centre. My advice, get there before 8am. Anytime after that becomes super busy and can take up most of your morning. I went in at 7: 30 and was in and out in 20 mins.
The medical test itself was flawless. However for typing the application, I would recommend to get it done from typing centres in others areas with less crowd, such as Abu Hail
I had been here 2 years ago it took almost 3 hours. But this time the management, arrangement everything changed. From blood test to typing my emirates ID took just 40 minutes. Well managed. Good job. There is an admin fee of AED 105 (including VAT) for medical.
I came on Sunday. Rush was more. Server was down. We all waited for many hours. Employees don’t know when the systems will start working. Finally we left and came on next day.

Better to make the typing work outside and come to save money.
Apart from the typing fees, we have to pay an amount of AED 105 as admin fee at Al Karama Medical Fitness Center.
They will do blood test and X Ray. We can opt either to collect the medical reports personally or to receive through post.
Medical test conducting employees, reception staff and other supporting staff are ok.
Photocopy, juice and snacks counters are available.
In a busy thursday morning, there are only 2 personnel for blood collection. 4 counters are empty. It's been more than 2 hours since I entered and it seems it will take another 2 hours!
This place overcharging for medical application typing. The typing centers around the place (walking distance) does not do medical application typing. So ensure you type from another typing Centre and go to this place only for medical fitness test only. The typing Centre in Area 1 (inside the Centre) just sucks and overcharge customers.
Very bad service I went for my wife's visa Medical and there is only one staff to get the blood test and all also they will charge from us extra 100 dhs for admin charge
I had requested for 24 hours medical result for my urgent visa renewal but 3 days had passed until now my medical result is not issued. Customer service is not even working.
Center service very advanced using technology, I recommend using NFC The only problem Telephone service very bad - No one to answer! Even the answering machine not working! @!
The women who work there are totally miserable and have a very bad attitude and rude and speaking with very unpleasant tone. The xray ones in particular that I saw shouting at a customer for instructions and stammering in her language. FYI we pay 530 dirhams for this service. I mean this is really unacceptable
I have a severe needle phobia and I was on pins and needles when I went for the medical for my visa renewal. I was welcomed by a very calm and a smiling staff, Reni Mathews who did the job with so much dexterity and expertise that I didnt even realise when it was done. Thank you so much Reni for calming my nerves and erasing this phobia forever.
