My recent visit to Al Maya Supermarket Marina left me with mixed feelings. On the positive side, the store boasts a reasonably extensive range of products, making it convenient for a one-stop shopping experience. The staff were generally friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any queries.
However, there were notable drawbacks. The store's organization and cleanliness fell short of expectations. It was often challenging to navigate the aisles efficiently, as some sections felt cluttered and disorganized. Additionally, I noticed that the cleanliness standards could have been improved upon, as there were occasional spills and untidy areas.
Checkout was a bit of a hassle, with longer-than-expected wait times at the registers. This could be due to understaffing during peak hours. While prices were generally competitive, occasional discrepancies in pricing left me somewhat frustrated.
In conclusion, Al Maya Supermarket Marina is a decent option for grocery shopping if you're in the area, offering a diverse selection of products and friendly staff. However, it could benefit greatly from better organization, improved cleanliness, and more efficient checkout processes to elevate the overall shopping experience.
It's best to buy your groceries here in-store, but if you're gonna have it delivered, expect a low quality in goods and wrong items to be delivered to you. There way too many instances that this happened to me so I don't ordered my groceries for delivery at this store anymore.
Friendly, helpful and polite staff. Dream Tower, Dubai Marina is my favourite branch of Al Maya supermarket. I usually shop here on Fridays as there is free street parking to supplement the very busy car park.
Convenient 24 hour supermarket that includes most of all the staples you need for a shopping trip, and a variety of internationally sourced and unique items that may be a little difficult to find elsewhere - some expats may find things they miss from home. Parking isn't that convenient, with a limited amount of bays but there are two entrances with checkouts on opposite ends of the supermarket with minimal waiting.
Fresh produce is generally a little pricier but still reasonable if you factor in convenience. There's also an extensive separate pork section offering snacks through to bacon, sausages and meats you cook at home, and it's also reasonably priced.
They told me your item delivered in 40 minutes and now it’s more than 2 hours but I still didn’t receive my item this is not good if you can’t delivered in your mentions time than please don’t tell it will be delivered to you shortly.and also they didn’t pick up call I’m trying to call them last 30 minutes but no one picking up my call
Open 24/7! And with attached Pharmacy! I always do my grocery shopping late evenings which is not very busy - definitely a life savor! Parkings just outside - however rush hours is a bit messy but they do delivery as well.
Nice and big supermarket. Different nationalities food available. Meat, fish and non Muslim areas available. Staff is very friendly and helpful. There are items that are not so cheap as carrefour. 24 hours open is the best!
